Enjoyed our stay, the beds were comfortable, the staff kind and helpful, they offer a lot of deals with museums and bikes, easy to get to other parts of amsterdam while staying in a relaxed neighborhood

This is just something that was a problem for us overall in Amsterdam, the mirrors and sinks are quite high.

Bedankt beste meneer en mevrouw Flipper🌷 Most things here are okay.🙏 Owing to my strange situation… no matter which hotel I stayed…all the same suffering…Normally the bed sheet, duvet cover and the bedding would be always powdered or something…and touched slippery with a kind strange chemicals smell….maar…😞 I know my pathetic situation…not complaining anyone…

Thought this was a really good value for money little hotel. Very quiet neighbourhood close to good restaurants & the river. Good shower. For us the perfect location. 1 direst city tram to central station. Very helpful friendly staff

Bathroom door & bedroom window a bit broken, but still ok.

A great location in a really nice neighborhood. Nice facilities downstairs to gather and room was small for four people but very clean, maintained and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and will be returning for a stay in the flipper for sure!! Staff super friendly and helpful and 24 hour front desk makes a good difference!! Highly highly encourage people to pay a visit

Quiet area, close to the tram stop and metro, friendly staff, very soft bed, little bathroom but enough for all necessities, great water pressure, a little vending machine in the reception for some snacks

The room we stayed in, the door was at reception, so it felt a little less private, the room itself was a little smaller than the pictures and the mattress was a little wobbly when turning at night, you could easily fall from the bed. There was some loud banging during the evening/night time from one of the rooms upstairs that we were right underneath at, not the fault of the hotel, but left us a little annoyed

Close to city, restaurants and market, with public transport nearby and street parking if you're lucky. This is no glamorous upmarket hotel nor is it outrageously expensive like most hotels this close to town. The shared bathroom was functional and pretty clean as was the bedroom which was small but with kettle and coffee and tea.

The stairs are steep but this is old Amsterdam and expected.

It was the cheapest Hotel that is no further than around 2,5km away from the city center, and it was totally worth the price! The shared Toilet and the shared shower were totally clean, in a good shape and never occupied, and the hotel itself felt comfortable. The staff is really friendly, and although we did not want any room service, we appreciated that it existed.

The mattresses of the beds in our room bended a bit to the edges, but you can sleep fine on them!

Beds were very comfortable. Staff very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Lovely and quiet area away from traffic.

Room can get very warm and had to leave the window open.

The staff is super attentive and kind. It is close to several bus and tram stops, so it's easy to move around the city from there. There is coffee machine and a vending machine with snacks and drinks which is very useful at night when all is close.

It doesn't have elevator and the stairs are very narrow. So they makes difficult to carry up the suitcases.
