This hotel was simply exceptional from start to finish. I received a wonderful welcome on arrival from the reception staff who were there all hours to help with queries and recommendations and made the building feel very secure. You can contact them on WhatsApp which is convenient if you are away from the hotel. I had a small issue with my room on arrival, but I was immediately relocated to a different room. The staff came back to check I was ok with my new room on several occasions over the next 24 hours, so attentive was the service. My room was clean and well equipped; it was perfect as a base for exploring the city. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heating kept the room cosy and warm in the baltic temperatures we had in Amsterdam. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well. The hotel was extremely quiet: I never encountered any noise during my stay, and I stayed on a relatively low floor. The area where the hotel is located is more business-orientated, but you are about 5 mins (if that) walk from Amstelstation where you can catch Metros to the city centre in 15 mins and the Arena in about 20-25 mins. There is also a tram stop for the 12 tram which also takes you into the city centre (but in about 30-35 mins), via areas of interest like Museumplein and Leidseplein, which are not at all far from the hotel. At the station there are various convenience stores which are reasonably priced for groceries and such. I would recommend the GVB transport card as you get unlimited bus, Metro and tram transport (including to/from the airport) for a reasonable price but note that local trains are not included. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe at this price point, and this was really one of the best. Overall I had a 10/10 stay, and for the price I paid I feel I got a great deal, thank you so much to everyone at Casa for a fabulous stay!

I personally wouldn't recommend using the hotel convenience store unless you have to as it is really overpriced.

It was near to the tram/train station so in few minutes you are in the center. The hotel was nice and clean. Super coffee at the hotel

One important negative point is that you cannot regulate the temperature of the room and it is not enough hot and it is the same for the shower. They say that it is for ecological issue but when you pay a high price, you expect to have the heat that you want in the room. Also they just have a cover and nothing else on the bed which make the experience even worse.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and spoke great English which was so helpful. They helped with attraction tickets and we were able to really easily buy public transport tickets from them and they explained everything. Their 24/7 reception was really useful as we arrived quite late in the evening, and they stored our bags for us on our final day after check out. The room was clean, comfy and quite spacious. Would definitely choose again if I came back to Amsterdam. Easy access to the city by metro, 10 minutes - if that!

Our only issue unfortunately was that we had people next door to us being quite loud and playing music at 5am for both nights. They even banged on our door one night. It kept us up for a little but we completely understand this was out of the hotels control entirely and we couldn't fault the hotel.

Great hotel...clean , bright and good location, close to metro/ train links. All the staff have been helpful and friendly.

Perhaps would have been good to get breakfast included in the price rather than paying each morning.

Great location, a couple of meters from a train statuon. The value was great, I will definitely stay here again.

friendly, efficient, helpful staff, good communication before check in. The view from the room of the canal was nice, the surrounding area is a nice district of Amsterdam as next to the Amstel and within walk of a more normal shopping area. Warm, spacious, pleasant room in a hotel that was well appointed without being stuffy. The bed was huge and nice shower/ warm water! The location is out of the centre (a plus for us as away from the most touristy stuff) but is very easy to get into the centre as there is a metro, it is also easy to travel to other bits of netherlands as over the road from Amstel station which is a major station. We've been to Amsterdam before and the room was so comfortable that we sometimes went back earlier than we would've to chill out.

Maybe some of the beer etc for sale or the food could be slightly cheaper but meh

The room was extremely clean and there was so much space and storage! It made for a really comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and worth the money (sausages would’ve been a good addition though!). Location is good as it’s only a few minutes’ walk away from the metro and tram, which get you into the city centre quickly. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they put balloons in the room, some chocolate and gave us two free drinks vouchers too, which was lovely. We rented bikes - they were a good price and as the hotel is near the River Amstel, just a 20-minute cycle ride along it can take to an entirely different part of Amsterdam with lots of windmills.

The bikes weren’t the best quality but did the trick. Shower on the last day was temperamental temperature-wise.

The hotel is modern and spacious, has a beautiful interior design, and is thoughtfully detailed for guests' comfort. The room is stylish and comfortable, offering plenty of space and equipped with everything you need: a refrigerator, hairdryer, a safe, kettle, and a capsule coffee machine. The hotel's location is convenient whether you're traveling by public transport or by car, with Amstel station and tram stops close by. It's about a 45-minute walk to the city center, or 20-30 minutes by bike. The staff was very friendly and always tried to be helpful.

We didn’t like the bathroom: The water in the shower drained very poorly, causing the entire bathroom floor to flood, making it impossible to walk through. Since cleaning was only available upon request, we didn’t have time to order it. We hoped the floor would dry during the day, but when we returned, the water was still there. There was no towel warmer, so the towels were always damp and never dried throughout the day. I don't mind using the same towels for a few days, but when they’re constantly wet, it's unpleasant.

The room was great. Big double bed and very comfortable pillows so had a good nights sleep on both days we were there. The location is out of the main tourist areas, although there are a few bars a short distance away. Other than that there is the main tram station , about a 5 minute walk away, which takes you about 5 stops into the main central station, so location was really good. Breakfast was really nice especially if you like Granola and yoghurts etc as there was a good selection. After that there was scrambled egg, tomato, bacon, toast etc

The staff. Hands down this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The sorted our tram tickets on reception so we didn't have to buy them at the tram stop. It was really easy. It seemed most of the staff were young, and I guess with this, more energetic, so they just wanted to please and always had a smile.
