This hotel was simply exceptional from start to finish. I received a wonderful welcome on arrival from the reception staff who were there all hours to help with queries and recommendations and made the building feel very secure. You can contact them on WhatsApp which is convenient if you are away from the hotel. I had a small issue with my room on arrival, but I was immediately relocated to a different room. The staff came back to check I was ok with my new room on several occasions over the next 24 hours, so attentive was the service. My room was clean and well equipped; it was perfect as a base for exploring the city. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heating kept the room cosy and warm in the baltic temperatures we had in Amsterdam. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well. The hotel was extremely quiet: I never encountered any noise during my stay, and I stayed on a relatively low floor. The area where the hotel is located is more business-orientated, but you are about 5 mins (if that) walk from Amstelstation where you can catch Metros to the city centre in 15 mins and the Arena in about 20-25 mins. There is also a tram stop for the 12 tram which also takes you into the city centre (but in about 30-35 mins), via areas of interest like Museumplein and Leidseplein, which are not at all far from the hotel. At the station there are various convenience stores which are reasonably priced for groceries and such. I would recommend the GVB transport card as you get unlimited bus, Metro and tram transport (including to/from the airport) for a reasonable price but note that local trains are not included. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe at this price point, and this was really one of the best. Overall I had a 10/10 stay, and for the price I paid I feel I got a great deal, thank you so much to everyone at Casa for a fabulous stay!

I personally wouldn't recommend using the hotel convenience store unless you have to as it is really overpriced.

It was near to the tram/train station so in few minutes you are in the center. The hotel was nice and clean. Super coffee at the hotel

One important negative point is that you cannot regulate the temperature of the room and it is not enough hot and it is the same for the shower. They say that it is for ecological issue but when you pay a high price, you expect to have the heat that you want in the room. Also they just have a cover and nothing else on the bed which make the experience even worse.

Overall, it was a very fine place to stay. * Professional staff, very friendly and helpful * The shared premises had a fun design * The location was pretty good - close to metro lines and, if you enjoy walking and exploring, within reasonable distance of the city center * The room was very spacious and had a window that could be opened for fresh air

A few things that bothered and could perhaps be improved: * The two elevators were small and often had long lines, especially since groups tended to arrive all at once. Better signs for the staircase could have helped. * The bedding was uncomfortable, the duvet didn’t breathe, so we overheated even though the room was cold. * The hairdryer in the room was so weak that it might as well not have been there at all. * The thick curtains in our room had slipped down at the edges, so they didn’t block the light properly and the overall first impression of the room was a little crummy

The staff were incredibly friendly, and spoke great English which was so helpful. They helped with attraction tickets and we were able to really easily buy public transport tickets from them and they explained everything. Their 24/7 reception was really useful as we arrived quite late in the evening, and they stored our bags for us on our final day after check out. The room was clean, comfy and quite spacious. Would definitely choose again if I came back to Amsterdam. Easy access to the city by metro, 10 minutes - if that!

Our only issue unfortunately was that we had people next door to us being quite loud and playing music at 5am for both nights. They even banged on our door one night. It kept us up for a little but we completely understand this was out of the hotels control entirely and we couldn't fault the hotel.

Great hotel...clean , bright and good location, close to metro/ train links. All the staff have been helpful and friendly.

Perhaps would have been good to get breakfast included in the price rather than paying each morning.

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the bed was quite comfortable. The room was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

The toilet and sink were a bit worn, and by evening the room became uncomfortably hot with no effective way to cool it down— the ventilation system didn’t help. While I appreciate the sustainable approach of cleaning every four days, the cleanliness was disappointing. During the scheduled cleaning, the bed wasn’t changed and the table still had visible breadcrumbs. I would expect a more thorough cleaning, even with a reduced frequency.

Beautiful place, very modern, welcoming and the lobby was always so cheerful and bright. The room was soooooo spacious and huge, after travlling in tight rooms for month, it was a really comforting reprieve. Bathrooms were really spacious too, entire room was just really big and roomy. Bed was very comfortable. Good location, just a quick 5 minutes walk to trams and trains that can take you to the city centre in 15 mins. Staff were super lovely, and even offered us a free breakfast since we checked out at 5am. Delightful experience, would 100000% come back!

Bathroom could have been a bit cleanier when we arrived. We checked in and the toilet wasn't cleaned. But other than that, the place was perfect.

I LOVED the view from the room!!! I also loved the staff friendliness and fact that you can have a light, simple meal any time of the day, either in the restaurant or coffee bar. It was very convenient to be able to buy some items from the lobby downstairs. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Loved the rooftop bar!!!

The only 2 minor things I could say are that the pillows could have been better, especially one of them which was somewhat lumpy. Also, maybe some black tea bags and milk for us English ladies would have been very appreciated (I took a walk to Lidl the first evening especially).

Excellent staff, I booked a triple room with three single beds, got a triple with two beds (one double and one single). Minor issue which was dealt with swiftly. All staff I interacted with were friendly, helpful and all spoke excellent English (good news, as my Dutch is appalling). Room was large and clean, bathroom a great size. Beds comfortable and the rooms have a fridge. Hotel has a coffee shop, restaurant, breakfast room and a roof top bar which was fabulous during the August evenings. There is also a very small shop in the lobby selling basic soft drinks, a few beers, wines and snacks. Hotel is bright and spacious. A laundry is also onsite, (buy the detergents etc from reception). Nearby are a handful of other coffee shops and restaurants, a supermarket is within a five minute walk with Amstelstation five minutes in the opposite direction, providing excellent links from the main central Eurostar station and to other places in Amsterdam. I would certainly come back to this hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Casa!! We arrived from Australia in the morning, and the staff were able to accommodate an early check in so we could refresh before exploring Amsterdam!! All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and were happy to help with any questions we had. Our room was comfortable and clean, and provided amenities such as a coffee bar, mini fridge etc. The location was fabulous, being in a nice quiet area, but only a 5 minute walk to the train station to get you straight to the city centre. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Amsterdam, especially after a long 30 hours travelling. I would highly recommend staying here, I know that this will be our go-to in future.
