The rooms were great. There was a small coffee machine (capsule) in the room which was great since I wanted to have a coffee first thing in fhe morning. The staff was really lovely. They kept some stuff cool for us as it was very hot in the car during the stay and we're overall very accommodating. There is a tram station nearby so getting to the city center is easy with public transportation. There is also a lovely bakery a couple of minutes aways that makes amazing croissants.

You do need to take the tram to get to the city center. There was weird smell on the carpet on my floor but I didn't pay it much attention. There are parking spots but you should know they are not underground.

The best thing for us was the location. It is out of the main touristy areas but still very close to all the main attractions and has bars/cafes/shops nearby. It is very near several tram lines which is extremely useful and there is a nice park over the road. We had a deluxe king room - the bed was very comfortable however the chairs were a bit grubby but otherwise the room appeared clean. The shower pressure was not as hard as we would have liked but the overall the bathroom facilities were good. We didn't use any of the hotel's onsite facilities.

Bed pillows were huge! A couple of options would be helpful.

Loved the location. Out of the touristy part of the city. Residential area with cafés, restaurants, delis, groceries, and shopping centre all an easy walk from the hotel. The refrigerator in the room was a bonus as we were able to keep ingredients for sandwiches for day trips chilled. Tram passed by front of the hotel, but as the weather was fine , we chose to walk to the metro. Had a room in the back of the hotel facing a garden, and it was quiet for a good night sleep.

Room a bit too warm at night. Shower in a deep bathtub, which was ok for us , but might not suit an older couple.

Good place, very close to the train station (5-10 min, and 5 mins by train to the central station) and trams. Very comfortable semi-lux room. Good bed and bathrobes. Fresh juices on the breakfast. All staff were always smiling.

I don't know why but it was a bit dusty around the bed every morning. And the wifi (even "special") was slow, not enough for videochats or to watch movies. In the last day a man on the reception decided to ask to pay for the breakfast that was paid already in advance.

The location is excellent for any reason you're in Amsterdam. There are multiple trams servicing the area, just one block away, as well as the Muiderspoort train station, so this means you can get around super easily no matter where you are travelling to i.e. in Amsterdam or further afield. Amsterdam accommodation is generally super expensive, so this hotel was the most value for money given the services, location and style.

The night bar / restaurant manager was absolutely, shockingly horrible. Forget about customer or client service. I would not recommend using the onsite bar or restaurant. Seems like he forgot what his role was and instead of managing the hotel guest with respect, he was vile. The day manager of the hotel apologized for his behavior, but I think the hotel needs to train staff in customer service and dismiss those who treat hotel clients as if they were lesser humans.

The location of The Manor was perfect for our stay, its a great neighbourhood with a park a few minutes away and lots of good cafe's and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room was comfortable, had good amenities and was very quite. For us it was with in walking distance to the city centre, about 1/2 hour and easy to navigate. We will definitely stay here again.

The room needed a little more attention to housekeeping, our body wash and tissue box were more or less empty on arrival and not replaced when house keeping came in next day despite the empty packs being left visible.

The Manor Hotel in Amsterdam offers a delightful stay with several standout features. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring you sleep like babies at the end of each day. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was perfect and also having a mini fridge helped keep our snacks and drinks fresh. Also the hotel's location is excellent, with a tram stop just around the corner. This convenient transportation option means you can be back in the city center in less than 15 minutes, making it a perfect base for exploring Amsterdam.

The Wi-Fi connection in our room was occasionally inconsistent, which was a bit inconvenient and there was no biscuit with tea but apart from that, everything was great.

I wanted to turn the aircon really low but unfortunately the room remained warmish despite being on the lowest setting. I prefer to stir my coffee with a teaspoon than a thin wooden stick. The body wash pump bottle in the shower didn’t work properly. I had to take the pump top off completely to access the body wash. The toilet paper is really thin and rough 😂 never put that in a review before but it really was like using sandpaper. Not the hotel’s fault but was woken at 4am by knocking on a neighbour’s door. Went on quite awhile until the occupant inside woke up and let them in. Room could do with a deep clean. Lots of dust behind furniture and under bed where I found evidence of previous guests while looking for my dropped earring. Eww

The hotel appears bright, new, and spacious, conveniently located near two supermarkets. The staff are friendly and readily assist with inquiries about pre-authorized payments and refunds for the advance 20% payment made before arrival.

We booked 8 rooms, but our family room was not clean. The cup provided was oily and had a buttle smell, with stains resembling fungi on the floor. The bathroom door wouldn't lock, and some doors wouldn't stay shut, requiring us to use towels to keep them closed. We reported these issues in the morning, and while the mechanic fixed the door promptly, the cleaning was not done satisfactorily. The cleaning liquid was left behind, maybe suggesting we were expected to clean ourselves.

Just across the street is Tropen museum and Ooster park. Liked large bath tube in the deluxe room. Interesting carpet and wall design incorporating Amsterdam flag motif. Counted even 7 mirrors in the suite. Nice view to the small park with marble statue of two playing cupids.

Bathroom bin was not emptied from previous visitors. Light besides the sink was flickering and turning off on itself. One layer cheap toilet paper. Bedside light fixture has loose bolts and barely holding. No cups and spoons to make tea, only small glasses.
