It's location and facilities in the surrounding area, was spot on.

Unusual in terms of the conventional hotel. Bespoke in terms as it has many different venues under the same roof, very versatile. Based on a recording studio, I believe. Bit of an industrial feel to it on the inside, with exposed workings inside. Like the ducting for the air con and exposed I assume water / heating pipes etc.

There was a piano in the lobby which was available to play, which was fun. The building which houses the hotel also hosts rehearsal studios and various musical bodies, which makes for an interesting situation. There was a nice bar/cafe for snacks, meals and breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also close to bus and metro lines which made getting around Amsterdam fairly easy. It's also near to a nice park.

The beds were not the most comfortable, being mattresses on wooden boards, but this was in keeping with the minimalist deco.

I can highly recommend the hotel! The location is 10 minutes away from Muiderpoort Station (1 train ride away from Amsterdam Centraal) and that makes the hotel a perfect starting point to explore from. The staff is truly kind and funny as well. The atmosphere in the entire building is overall such a good one(if you are lucky you will hear people harmonising & singing when you pass the lobby) The rooms are clean and spacious + 10/10 for having the sink outside the bathroom. All in all, loved the stay here! Thank you for having us. :)

We highly recommend this accommodation to everyone, and it exceeded our expectations. The price is unbeatable for Copenhagen. Sanne was super friendly and helpful. The apartment is beautiful, bright, and well-equipped. In addition to free parking, there's excellent access to the city center. The clean and beautifully furnished apartment lacked nothing. We even found a beer, coffee, and water. Thank you for our unforgettable time in Copenhagen!

As this was our 2nd stay at this location it was great to see some familiar faces with many staff members still working at the hotel. Close to local train and tram services with direct train to and from schipol making the q hotel a cheap and convenient choice for those travellers wishing to travel in and out of the city centre with just a 5 minute train ride or sit back and enjoy the tram taking approx 30 minutes 😀. Was all fantastic

Excellent value for money great room size and comfy bed, basic room little different from photos but if you plan on being out all day like we did and only sleeping in it then it's fantastic. There is so much going on within the building too it has something for everyone not to central but we loved the walk into town during the day and transport was easy enough to use when going back to the hotel at the end of the day. Overall would recommend

We liked everything basic but just what u need no frills

We had a wonderful stay at the Q factory Hotel. We had read reviews about noise from concerts, as a couple in their 60s, we were a little worried that it could be a party hotel, but we had no negative experiences whatsoever. There was a concert while we were there, and we didn’t hear it at all. The staff was so kind including those in the restaurant. The location was so great and convenient. We would definitely stay there again. And… the showers were fabulous.

Although small, the bedroom had almost everything you'd need - the one negative being an inexplicably short blackout curtain, which let light in at the bottom. The bed linen was clean and fresh, and the shower fantastic. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and particularly the 'bottomless' coffee policy. The location of the hotel in the middle of a pedestrian shopping centre was really appealing too.

There were two brown smears on the wall near my bed, which seemed a bit suspect and gave the room a bit of a seedy feel (it was 304, if the hotel is reading this and wants to try to clean them). The aforementioned short blackout curtain could be easily fixed, to deliver better darkness. And the door didn't close by itself, so a little alarm went off every single time we went in or out. Again, this could be easily fixed. These are minor quibbles though, compared to the general comfort and welcome provided by this hotel.

Loved the style of the room Staff were super friendly and helpful Area was beautiful, good transport links (obviously, it’s Amsterdam) I was concerned there would be a lot of noise because I read other reviews but it was quiet enough and I went undisturbed Bed was comfortable in my opinion

No hairdryer but whatever Walls ARE thin so I heard the neighbour snoring Some leakage from the shower into the main room

This is a hotel which will divide people, we loved it It is styled in an industrial way, but that is part of its charm, it is all part of the aesthetic and what makes it a cool place to stay. It is set up with a type of traveler in mind, so for people looking for identikit rooms, a concierge who knows the local overpriced restaurants, and branded shampoo this isn't really for you. If you want comfort, interesting people to meet and speak to, music and dancing in the air and a sense of the night starts here then it is. We will be back, hopefully soon.
