Really friendly staff, beautiful apartment in a charmingly wonky old house (with protected status), lovely on-site restaurant, breakfast included. Great location.

Everything was great. It would have been nice to have had small things like hand soap in the bathroom and a bin bag in the bin. But apart from that the kitchen and the rest of the apartment was comfortable, beautiful, and well-equipped. The price was high (as is the case EVERYWHERE in the Netherlands) but we were fine with paying it as a birthday treat to spend time in this area.

Quite a unique property with plenty of charm. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was good parking and the breakfast room/restaurant was exceptional.

The attic room allocated was very difficult to access. Steep unlit wooden staircase; more suited to more agile travellers. This aspect needs to be made known as part of the hotel publicity. Luckily, as we were travelling low season, we were offered an alternative suite which was very comfortable.

Excellent hotel, lovely large room with very nice finishes. All the essentials for cooking in the kitchen. Delightful shower! Best part was the service - I was incredibly well taken care of, nothing too much bother. Hotel was well located in Vinkeveen. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel

Duncan and his team were extremely welcoming and lovely. We had a beautiful room that suited us well for our stay with our little one in her travel cot! We had one morning with no hot water, but the team were quick to offer us a different room to shower in, and a plumber arrived within the hour so it was not a problem. The food at breakfast was great and was also a great dinner stop too. Lovely place and lovely people, thank you!

Nothing, everything was great!

We wanted a romantic weekend and booked the Honeymoon suite. What a super room! We loved it. The breakfast was super. fresh pastries, eggs, muesli with fresh fruit and orange juice. The night before we had dinner in the restaurant and found the small cosy personal atmosphere prefect for what we wanted. Service was great and the food was also good. There is not alot to do within walking distance- but for a romantic night out this place was perfect. A true hidden gem.

We found the room a little too warm, and couldn't find the temperature controls in the middle of the night. The next day the owner showed us where it was - problem solved!,

Natasha, the manager, was exceptional in her efforts to ensure that all requirements were met and everything provided to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was delightful and fully equipped, and breakfast was customised and substantial. I could not have asked for anything more.

for our room, the bathroom ( toilet ) was only accessible from the bedroom and had no dedicated door was a bit of a privacy issue in case of friends, etc

A very charming place to stay! It is in a beautiful and quiet location and you can easily drive to Amsterdam in 20mins or so (although try to organise pre-paid parking to avoid high day rates). The restaurant onsite is fabulous and the staff are very friendly. It is so much better than paying for a mediocre hotel in the city.

The stairs to my room were fairly steep so would check with the owners before your arrival should you have any mobility concerns.

The description of our apartment was inaccurate; 2 beds but said 3 and the "bathroom"was a shower in the bedroom. This gave very little privacy for 4 guests. The kitchenette was poorly equipped. However Natasha was extremely helpful and gave us everything we asked for.

I loved the very good restaurant next door which was very convenient for my stay. The room was very well equipped and beautiful decorated and very clean. The people were very friendly.

Unfortunately due to staff shortage I could not have early breakfast but the owner said I could deduct this from the price. The steep stairs access to the hotel room was a bit tricky and dark.
