What a stay!!!! We absolutely loved staying at Logement Aan De Vecht - how quirky, authentic, and characteristic the house was. The rooms were spacious, clean, and really comfy. And the staff very accommodating and welcoming. Initially we were not planning on having breakfast the next morning but when we woke up and saw the incredible breakfast room we changed our mind. They quickly acommodated us and served us a delicious breakfast. Very kind and very flexible. Would totally recommend.

Beautiful mansion on the river Vecht. Great views of the river and close to charming restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and quiet (double-glazed windows) despite being close to a local road. Very nice breakfast.

I would have preferred a thinner pillow on my bed as an option. The ones we had were all a bit too thick for my personal taste.

This has to be one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. It was comfortable and so quiet. We didn't notice the other guests other than at breakfast times. Beds were comfortable and the room was large and cozy. Breakfast was great as well and the staff was very nice and helpful. It's so quiet and relaxing to stay here. A very romantic place.

-The stairs to our room (last floor) were a challenge for sure! Especially with our big suitcases, it was definitely a struggle. One of the staff members did offer her help with one of our suitcases, but we didn't want to trouble her with it. - There's no safe inside the room, but since you had to take the tall stairs to our room, we didn't worry too much. - The location, although gorgeous, was not centric. You have to take buses into town, but it's not too bad. - The carpet in our room had some stains and was a bit uncomfortable to walk in because it's so tough.

The environment, building and its interior are truly spectacular. Cool rooms containing likely quite valuable and neat antiques (my room had lots of fun racing-related artifacts). Nice, small site with intimate vibe, friendly staff. Didn't have breakfast, but might be worth doing just to spend more time in some of the awesome rooms downstairs. During hot weather it was very welcoming that A/C was installed to keep the room cool.

Didn't expect that the toilet access would be via a shared hallway, which was slightly annoying but not a huge deal considering how few guests there are. Access to the upper room is via some very steep stairs that make carrying luggage difficult. Also a bit disappointed that they charged an extra fee to use the electric car charger. That kind of amenity, like wifi, does not warrant an additional charge in my opinion, and should be a perk for staying there.

Fantastic location, very beautiful room, good wifi, the beds are comfortable, coffee machine at disposal.. really a nice place to stay!

All good, only tiny details that could be improved (for example, the refillable bottle of shampoo in the shower was empty). But I can only recommend the place!

Lovely room slightly on the small side but had interesting photographs on the wall. The bathroom was large enough but could have done with a few more hooks for towels as there was only one. We loved the feel of the old house and the breakfast room was gorgeous with views to the garden with some large, old trees and the canal.

It was all pretty good so I would be nitpicking.

Very special place , beutiful Old building with full of fantastic objects. We specially liked the breakfast area and the riverside. Our room was very specual and comfortable enough. I liked all the toiletry sets. Breakfast was superb.

Unique experience staying in a noble house of the Golden Age. Ceilings of 4 meters high, classic decorations, paintings and artifacts make you feel like you go back in time and experience the rich life of the past. Very authentic, with nice views from Room #1 overlooking the field through large 3 windows, a classic Austin car downstairs, amazing breakfast.

Property seems understaffed: no possibility to checkin after 18:00, we were with 3 people (parents + child), but got only one shampoo and 2 sets of towels. Staff was very friendly and nice, but was alone and preparing breakfast for ~10 people, so didn’t have time to get us additional towels and amenities.

We loved the ambience and the beautiful location on the Vecht, very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly however we thought the initial welcome upon our arrival could have been a little more forthcoming and friendly. The property is best suited for people travelling in their own car.
