The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. You can control nearly everything from a panel on the wall, like curtains, lights, TV and room temperature. The bathroom was also very clean and tidy. There was hot water in every hour. The location of the hotel is a little bit far away from the city center. You can take taxi or uber or you can take the metro to go to the city center. The cheapest way is the metro however first you need to walk 10-12 minutes to metro station and then take the train to the desired stop. It took approximately 35 minutes to go the city center which is not bad for Amsterdam.

Even we set the air conditioner temperature low, it never reached the temperature that we set. The room temperature was always stable at 22.6 C, which was also ok. There were no slippers in the room. They have underground parking space however, unfortunately parking is not free, 25 Eur/day.

Very close to public transport which was great. However, close by walkable options very limited. Staff were extremely helpful in making recommendations, advising and helping with "typical" travel concerns in general. Welcoming experience and the room was lovely! I esp enjoyed the little extra touches in decor.

As most of my business travels are to Paris, the breakfast was so so. I would have liked to see more local options to help stand out. Same for the hotel menu in general, as the stay was several days, options were limited. I was very thirsty a water bottle in the room would have been nice.

We got the room on the top floor and the view was amazing! Comfortable bed. Big bathroom. Clean room. Checkin and checkout process was smooth. Convenient pick-up and drop-off for taxi in front of the hotel entrance. It was cold in the room at the time of our arrival and I asked people from reception to turn off the conditioner which they did pretty quickly.

Breakfast was 39 euro per day for two people and included only veg options. It's good that I paid only for the first day because although the quality of the food was good we didn't like absence of meat options. Pretty much nothing near the hotel. About 10-15 min walk to the nearest metro station. Sink in bathroom must have been designed for tall people, we are of average height (164-165 cm) and it was quite high for us. Control panel is useful only for turning lights on and off, temperature control and tv control are shown on the panel but don't work.

The facilities were great, super comfy and very spacious. The location was perfect, just 2 mins away from the metro station that goes straight into the centre, about a 10-15 min journey on metro! Absolutely ideal. I booked the romantic package for my room and it was lovely! Room covered with petals and heart balloons as well as 2 welcome drinks. Very happy

Had to give a €100 deposit which would be fine but for a young traveller with a set amount of money brought to spend, was slightly annoying. If I’d of been told in advance, it would of been no issue

The hotel was very nice, the sort of accommodation you would expect for such a large hotel with conference rooms etc Get on the metro at centraal station head for 52/3/4 all 3 trains go to spewed where u get off and walk 9 mins appx til you get there. It's big and can be seen from a distance so you know you're headed the right way. I got public transport tickets for 48 hrs online so we used the metro and trams.

Out of our control that our flight was canceled so we had lost our paid first night and then booked an extra one on the end. I got an email on our last day saying we qualified for summer deal free breakfast but then got charged for it at checkout. I suppose I had hoped they would give us a reduction in price for new booking or chuck some perks in.

The hotel staff were phenomenal in offering assistance and providing information. Very friendly and professional. The staff at the terrace restaurant were fantastic. The location of the restaurant was wonderful and relaxing. All Staff were Friendly and professional and very receptive to tourists. Having 24 hour front desk available was fantastic especially for those still on North America time. Available snacks and drinks 24 hours was also a good touch. The proximity to the train was ideal and getting to Centraal Station was a breeze.

The high tech facilities that took some time to decipher. However once you figured it out it was all good. That’s where having a a 24 hour front desk is great to answer the jet lag questions at 4 am. There was no option for a quick grab and go breakfast and the restaurant offered buffet breakfast only.

Our room was very comfortable with everything well thought out - keypad controlled lights, tv, curtains etc. In particular the bathroom was exceptionally well designed with lovely large walk-in rain shower and good use made of the space for all the facilities. Although some distance out from the centre of Amsterdam, there were 2 Metro stations a few minutes walk away which took you straight to the centre - and it was a few minutes drive to the hotel from the A10 ring road.

Thought parking charges were a bit expensive for a hotel so far out from the centre. Finding the hotel was difficult as our sat nav brought us to the side of the hotel which had no signs to say it was the Postillion Hotel and only a “no entry” sign on what turned out to be the way into the hotel.

I had a pleasant stay at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre Amsterdam. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around the city, and the room met my expectations, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.

Update: After my stay, the hotel supervisor reached out to apologise and refunded the additional charge. I genuinely appreciate this gesture as it's a strong reflection of service that puts the customer first. Thank you! The room wasn’t cleaned during our three-night stay, which was disappointing. We were also disturbed by a call from the hotel at 10:30 PM. Additionally, we were charged €25 for early check-in, which felt unreasonable given the lack of housekeeping.

A new clean modern and tastefully designed hotel. Modern features in the hotel room including an iPad to steer the lights, tv in the bathroom etc. Very silent, you might see a train but will not hear it. When you bring a car this is the perfect hotel. Near the highway so no stress to get there, and affordable parking at 25 euro a day. I would recommend using a taxi app to get around. Assuming the price is lower than other 4 star hotels which are more centrally located, you get good quality for money here. Breakfast is extensive, a lot to choose from.

It is not a very romantic area. It is safe, but it is a very busy street and not so nice to stroll along. It is about 10 minutes walk along the busy road to get to the Spaklerweg underground. The bed I slept in was on wheels and it moved a bit when I turned which felt not so solid. Unfortunately money was saved on the mattress quality which is a strange but common mistake by hotels.

Location was great as located between two Metro stations so easy to get into and out of Amsterdam central and the airport. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice and staff very accommodating. One of our party was Gluten intolerant and they bought in bread each morning for her.

Twin beds and the bed was very narrow - would have been nicer if slightly wider Shower was very powerful, which is great, but the angle of the hand held attachment meant that water went underneath the shower door and onto the bathroom floor. Each morning, had to use the towel to mop up the excess water.
