Most of the staff was nice. The Asian man working in reception has not the proper attitude to be welcoming guests in the hostel. He’s attitude was rather harsh towards me when I did my check in (perhaps he wasn’t having a good day but still not the customers fault, after that day I avoided him during my entire week stay) but beside him everyone was pretty lovely. Th facilities are quite good, everything needed was there and Amsterdam central was just a short ride away. I also didn’t like the fact that they have long stayers guests together with the tourists ones. There was this black lady in my room (ladies room) who seems to be living there. My bed was across her and she will behave like it was her own home, she watched stuff on her iPad and would talk to the show and laugh hard about it. Few times I thought she might have mental issues because sometimes it was extreme and a bit scary to be honest. Another lady who would also talk in her sleep and cry. I felt sorry but them and it seems like they’re going thru stuff still I think there should have a room for the ones staying longer/living there so they will feel more like home. I stayed for a week due to the fact that I had a bad fall and my hand was hurting and I was trying to take it easy and recover during the week and perhaps that’s why I noticed more the long residents. Inside the building it was veeryy stylish and modern. A lot of cool areas where you can spend time and meet new people. Even cinema room. The room where I slept was clean there was nothing special. The bathroom was clean and new.

The location was a big drawback for me as a solo traveler. I got back from the concert late at night and it was very scary😅. It is far away from the downtown but very close to arena. So if you come to Amsterdam for a concert it could be a good choice. But don’t go alone

I stayed in a suite which was further away from families and therefore really quiet which was great. The locker space was big and cleverly situated away from the beds. It was clean and spacious. Breakfast and the entertainment facilities and the decor is really nice.

I found the self check-in impersonal - I cannot fault the place on anything else its a really good place to stay over and would recommend it for solo travel.

Fast check in, close to the airport, nice prices.

No towel in the Hostal... If you need a towel, you need to purchase one (€8).

The location is very convenient to the train into Amsterdam. The secure parking is a great additional as well. The onsite bar and resturaunt is convenient as well as being walking distance to a few other restaurants and a grocery store. The rooms are always clean and the air con helps in the summer. The kids really enjoyed the games in the lobby. The staff is helpful and generally friendly. I have stayed twice now and it is my go to option in Amsterdam with a group.

The bunk beds are slightly uncomfortable but that is to be expected. The AC worked but would have like an additional fan maybe to help circulate the air on the other side of the room.

The location is perfectly close enough to the metro and train station of Diemen Zuid, which has a direct connection to Amsterdam central, which makes it a very comfortable and cheap stay close to anything you might want to visit in Amsterdam. The activities organised by staff were also very fun, I enjoyed karaoke night on Friday and made bracelets on Saturday.

The beds in the shared rooms were not incredibly comfortable, but serviceable. The menu at the restaurant was a bit small, not a lot of variety, but just good enough for a snack. There's a lot of eateries in the neighbourhood anyway, so you won't go hungry :)

3 of us stayed in a 4-room. There was a lot of space in the room, plug sockets by each bed, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and there was the choice of smaller or larger blankets which was perfect depending on the weather. The staff there were very friendly and supportive as well :) Althoufh it had slow moments, the WiFi in the room also worked well

The air conditioning in the room was a little tricky to navigate, which was a bit concerning as we stayed there during a heatwave, but it works well once you figure it out. The continental breakfast was a bit overpriced given that there was no cooked/hot food but served a purpose to get you started with the day, and there is still broad options of cold food (cereals, bread, sandwich fillings, fruit, yoghurt etc.).

The location was very good, only a 5 min walk from the metro station with several bus stops nearby too. I came for the concert at Ziggo Dome but I also wanted to explore Amsterdam and I had no trouble with public transport, it was very easy getting from one place to the other. Room was very spacious and nice, I just wish we had a small shelf near the bed to put my phone and charger and stufd but otherwise it was great. The staff were very friendly as well. Didn't get a chance to really check out the bar and common areas as I was gone most of the time but they had many activities each night as well as a cinema room which all seemed really fun!

Shower was very dirty. I know most of it had to do with the other guests in my room but, as far as I'm aware from previous experiences, someone from the hotel should be coming to clean it daily. Breakfast didn't have many options. €11 something a day (only online) for bread, ham and some yogurt is a bit pricey for me tbh but i still enjoyed it. Tho maybe at 8am when i went it was too late, idk abt that.

Excellent -Very clean and safe -best location

The place is literally too good. I have lived in various hostels over the years whenever i travelled to places, this is easily one of the best hostels there is. Be it the breakfast area, or the play/sit out area. it is very comfortable and nice. Even the checkin and check out are extremely smooth

The travel can be a little issue as the hotel is 20 mins away (via train) from the city centre. But there are enough buses and trains to compensate that. I would have liked personally liked if i got a few accessories like ear plugs (I got a roommate who snored pretty badly). Everything else is top notch
