It was a quite good option in a good price. The location is great, 240m to the metro station. There is also a parking lot. I've stayed with a dog and there was no problem with at. Also self check-in and fast check-out are great options, because everything is going really fast. There is also a kitchen available for everyone, although it could be more tidy.

In the evening the staff had a lot of work to do, so I had to wait quite long time for my order from the bar. It was also a bit loud at the entrance, but not so disturbing in the end.

I liked the cave-like bunk beds. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly, professional, and helpful.

I was told I needed to either rent bed linens, or bring my own. Since I didn't bring my own, I paid 4 EUR to rent some. But when I got to my room, there were already fresh linens and towels available. The reception was unable to refund my money for the linens I no longer needed. They gave me a coffee as recompense, but I'd rather have had the money back.

The front office workers has to work more on them attitudes ( try to be a bit friendly ) and learn more about the tourism’s savoire vivre Some of them are so mean an get confused by using the the system on the computer an that makes clients impassioned when they get daily the same situation An specially the old generation workers hhhh they totally don’t have passion not them selfs an not on them guest ho came to enjoy the stays in Amsterdam an throwing them negative energy out ... but still a good hotel where u can feel your self an even make friends with locals an get help for anything u need

I didn't like the sight I saw through the window. Where a human being (maybe a human who had refused to check out) was being kicked out in the middle of the night. Even animals cannot be kicked out that way into the dreadful late autumn cold. It was an unpleasant sight. If only hospitality businesses can have 'hospitality' at the core of their operations....

After having been to multiple outfits, I can confidently say that a&o Amsterdam is indeed a world class venture with excellent features. Awesome customer service, remarkable ambience and real value for money. The neatness and the meticulous state of things seem incomparable. Welldone guys.

You can try to be more hospitable, especially the wonderful security folks you've got.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I always prefer it. The employees are friendly and very helpful. It's very close to the subway. There is everything you need in the rooms and in the hotel. I recommend it!

The employees. All of them, it doesn’t matter the hour, everybody was so nice, polite and doing their best for the guests comfort.

Temperature, we had to change our room twice because of a problem with the radiators. But the people working helped us and find a warmer room for us.

I stay here before pandemic and it was more than amazing even it not same level as before but I am loyal to them and feel that this hostel is my home , every time I visit Amsterdam I stay with them
