The host was very helpful with everything I needed and was very kind. He really cares about you and doing his job with love. In the place, everything was clean. I really loved the mornings with the host’s breakfast:) Also in front of the place, there is a wide area (includes a park) that you can chill and get a fresh air. The location is nearly 40mins to the city center. The place is very close to the metro station so it was very easy to travel. There is a laundry place very close to the location, it’s clean and with good staff. It was a very lovely and unforgettable stay for me. Franz is likely the best host you will ever have. He has decades of experience in hospitality and takes his profession seriously. He provides 5-star service in a cozy setting. Eating his tasty breakfasts and listening to his stories turned out to be an expected highlight of my trip. If you stay here, I suggest making time to enjoy breakfast, because Franz is great company. FYI: There is no front desk, so he expects you to communicate if you are arriving outside the designated arrival window.

I got hot when sleeping and would have benefited from a lighter duvet. He probably would have made arrangements had I asked, so that's on me.

Franz was a lovely host! He was warm and amiable, very attentive to detail, and prepared the most luxurious breakfast. The room was comfortable and very well maintained, and the area is very peaceful away from the bustling city while not too far from the metro/buses! There was also a reasonably priced laundry shop nearby, which was helpful.

The stairs leading up to the room are beautiful, though a bit narrow on one side due to the spiral design. Be careful if you have larger sized luggage.

I liked everything about the property! My single room was very clean, beautiful and modern, there was everything needed inside including water, tea, coffee, and even some chocolate! Breakfast was always amazing! Fresh orange juice, cheese, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, and the croissants that the host is baking himself every morning! Franz is an amazing host! He allowed an early check-in and was always helpful in everything I asked for. I plan to visit Amsterdam with my family next time and I will definitely stay at the same place! By the way, it is not far from a metro station, so you can get to the city center pretty easily.

There is nothing I did not like. For elderly people please be aware that there is no elevator so you need to use stairs. I was fine with it as my luggage was not heavy.

The facilities were amazing. Franz was an amazing host. Very welcoming and friendly to talk to. The breakfast service was lovely and had authentic Dutch items which was a great touch.

I had no issue with the hotel. Only a small layout issue with the toilet. It was an open door en-suite right next to the balcony window with tall building nearby so using it, I closed the blind however that was more a preference issue than b&b issue. Besides that no issue at all.

This was the best B&B I've ever stayed at. The owner is incredibly helpful and genuinely attentive to his guests. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the metro station, which provides easy access to the city center. Breakfast was amazing, personally served by the owner himself. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming—it truly felt like visiting a friend.

Additionally, the in-room snacks provided a nice touch for whenever I needed a quick bite. The room was impeccably clean and featured modern amenities that made my stay comfortable. The tasteful decoration added a nice touch to the ambiance. The daily room cleaning service ensured that everything was kept neat and tidy.

Although the accommodation is located just a short walk from the metro station, it is situated outside the city center. As a result, it took around 20 minutes to reach the main attractions of the city. It's something to consider for travelers looking to stay closer to the action. While the quality of the accommodation was top-notch, I found that the room rate was a bit on the higher side, especially considering its location outside the central business district.

A beautiful modern BnB with exceptional hospitality. Franz is the perfect host who seems to have thought of everything to ensure you have a comfortable stay. As a solo traveler it felt like coming “home” every day.

The BnB is a 30-45 minute Metro ride from central Amsterdam however this is quite manageable with such an efficient transport system. Definitely worth the journey to have such nice accommodation.

Everything was perfect for a few nights in Amsterdam. It is a little way away from the centre, but it was so lovely to have somewhere quiet to come back to. The metro also makes short work of the journey, as I was getting the I Amsterdam card for the museums anyway it didn't cost me anything more to stay further out. The room itself was clean and quiet and incredibly comfortable, everything needed for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. A good selection of tea and coffee in the room was provided (homemade marble cake also appeared in the room at the end of the second day!). Franz's breakfast spread was lovely, he also does the best boiled eggs- you will not appreciate how good they are until you try them.

My only criticism is that the Booking.com ratings does not allow me to properly express how delightful Franz is. Nothing is too much for him. If you like baking and cooking speak to him about it, he made some sublime marble cake whilst I was there!

Franz was an excellent host. His attention to detail is incredible from my room to the delicious breakfast served with a warm welcome which was really lovely. Breakfast so good, with so many choices, it kept me going to early afternoon. Franz is a considerate host and makes a real effort to ensure you get the most from your trip. The metro close by which is great for access into city. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend.
