Spacious bathroom , location, friendly staff, tasty buffet breakfast, free drinks instead of room cleaning everyday,

Small bedroom. We booked for 3 adults because website indicated a queen sized bed and a sofa bed but it actually was a single extra bed squeezed into main space temporarily for 6 nights?

The location was convenient, 7 min walk to Bus, Train and Metro station, if you want to travel during your stay, I would definitely recommend the location. 20 min to airport by direct trains that go every 10-15min. Breakfast was very good, everyone was able to find something to his/her taste, I rearly like pastries in the hotel, but here the bread and pastries were very good, there is a good variety of plant-based milk as well. it's possible to order omlette for your taste. The staff was helpful. We booked family room, although it was rather small, there was a working table to work in there.

I would recommend to add some salad leaves or salads to the breakfast buffet, there were only tomatoes and cucumbers from the vegetables available. The room was very dusty and I'm sure the floor was not cleaned for a while there and dust wasn't removed from the bed tables, although bathroom was really clean. I would recommend to add locion to the bathroom or consider changing the soap, as the soap really dries the skin.

I got free upgrade to Premium/Executive room thanks to Booking.com Genius perk. Room was quite big for Amsterdam and very comfortable. Big bathroom with shower and bath tube. I did have a few interactions with 3 people from reception and all of them were very nice and helpful. I had to change my room due to high temperature and it was not a problem and went very smoothly. Breakfast was never busy and there was plenty of free tables. Location is close to the train station, so it's easy to get to the airport and to Amsterdam Centraal. It's also one stop on fast train to Utrecht. Be aware, that Amsterdam Centraal closes front door to the station at 1.00am, so you have to use rear entrance to catch last train to Arena at 1.19am. I would certainly consider this hotel for future stays.

Avoid rooms facing east/south. First room I stayed in (611) was getting hot every morning, with curtains closed. Air con minimum temperature is 18C and it wasn't able to cool the room down. We had 27C on a first morning and 29C on a second morning. After changing the room to the other side of the building everything was ok. Glass door to the bathroom might not be your thing if you're not too intimate with your travel companion.

Great hotel! Employees were very kind, i arrived really early and was allowed to do pre-check in and leave my luggage at the hotel so i could explore the city without heavy luggage. When i came back around check-up time all i had to do was getting my key! Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower was quite big to my suprise as well. The little convenience store on the second floor was definitely a bonus and it was great to get some cold drinks after returning from a concert at the Ziggo Dome (which is only a 7 minute walk from the hotel). This was my first time staying at Holiday Inn and definitely not the last time.

Staff was nice, rooms were clean, and got Bonvoy Points for not getting the room cleaned daily. Close to train station which is about a 5-7 min walk. Hotel is so close to the Ziggo Dome and Johan Cruyff Stadium for the football club AFC Ajax.

No refrigerator or ice bucket in the room. Couldn't get an ice bucket from the hotel but improvised using a plastic bag for ice. Room lights could be brighter to see ourselves in the bathroom mirror. Room service charges you 10 Euros to deliver the food to your room. Shower barely had any water pressure.

The room was beautifully furnished and clean. Everything about the experience was positive from the location to the staff. The buffet breakfast was the best I ever had. So much selection and variety, delicious hot and cold food. The staff were all polite and helpful from the cleaning and waiting staff to the reception. I hope they all will receive a big Christmas bonus because they really made the stay extra pleasant. The location was fantastic to do that last minute Christmas shopping at Tk Maxx, and only a short walk to the ziggo some and the local metro/train station.

neighbourhood is office buidings, walking quite far from train station where all we need such restaurants, cafe and shops around the sttation. Not advised for travelling with train/metro then walking with luggage

The room and the breakfast were amazingly good! We needed a hotel near Ziggo Dome and the location of this hotel was perfect for that. So easy to get here from the airport. The value was superb and we will definitely be back next time, even though we would spend most of the time in the city center, as it only took like max half an hour total from the hotel door to the center.

The area is just a little ugly because of the construction works around nearby builtings but there was absolutely no noise cause of that!

Everything was very good. We were quite satisfied with the hotel. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the main metro lines. There were also dining places nearby. We had originally booked for one night, but we extended our stay for 4 more days because we liked the room. The price is above average, but it definitely matches the quality. The breakfast was also quite good.

Only, there was fruit-infused water prepared next to the reception; I couldn't drink it except once, as it would run out quickly and wasn't often replenished.

I really enjoyed my stay! The staff were incredible – so polite and helpful. The cleanliness of the place, especially my well-organized room, was top-notch. The breakfast was amazing, offering a great start to the day. Plus, the location was convenient, and the hotel's parking option, while not free, was much appreciated, especially considering the high parking costs in Amsterdam.

I appreciated the parking facility, but the ticket system was a bit of a hassle. Since I paid for parking for the entire stay, it would have been much more convenient to have just one ticket for the whole duration instead of getting new ones each time we left. Also, my room lacked a mini-fridge, which would have been handy. And about the dinner menu, it felt a bit limited in options. Other than that, everything was good!
