Hotel is directly opposite a metro station making travel very easy (with our lucky timing it closed for maintenance). Recommend the GVB App to purchase 24+ hr tickets for more bang for your buck. We loved the room, originally booked a Queen Suite but upgraded to Deluxe King and it was well worth the money (only 10 euros per day). The room had a nice view and the bed was so comfy, you sink into it. The bathroom is clean and very nice, although the frosted glass door took us a bit by surprise hahaha. With all inclusive breakfast you get a lot of options and you'll find something that will fuel you for your ride into the city before having a stroppwaffel.

The breakfast is really amazing! I highly recommend booking the full experience. The beds are comfy. Rooms are quiet at night, and no noise from other rooms, which is more than welcome in hotels. Staff were super helpful and provided guidance in several languages. Super professionals! I didn't eat in the restaurant beside the breakfast, but it looks a great option to consider too.

The location was a bit far from the city. You have to consider taking the subway every time you want to reach the city center. Thankfully, the trains pass through every couple of minutes, which is great and helps the experience.

Out of their control but the metro station across the road being closed was annoying. The walk to the next station wasn’t too bad tho and was easy to navigate. We had an issue with the TV and casting to it since our TV couldn’t connect to the WIFI. We asked via WhatsApp if it could be fixed and we were told it was not a smart tv and didn’t have that functionality despite us staring at the option for it to do that and at one point another guest connected to our TV with their phone. Wasn’t the end of the world though and we coped.

The hotel is modern, clean, and stylish. The room we had was spacious and the beds were super comfy. The staff were really friendly too! They even let us check in early, which we really appreciated. 🙌 The location is super convenient. It is just a few steps from Overamstel metro station, so getting to the city center only took about 10–15 minutes.

The only small downside was that there weren’t many restaurants or shops nearby, so we just made sure to grab food before heading back to the hotel. Also, the elevator at Overamstel Station was under repair when we got there, which was a bit of a hassle.

Very clean rooms with everything you needed or could expect in a hotel. The bathroom was spacious and had lots of space for our longer stay. The hotel room had a great view although I think we got lucky with no train sounds because it was under construction.

The train station across was under construction so we had to walk a bit further to get to our next destinations (but again, this could’ve been a blessing in disguise because we didn’t have to hear train noise). There weren’t any real amenities near the hotel (no grocery stores, etc.)

Refrigirator was not working and tecnical staff was not found during my stay. Each day I was calling to reception with this problem. If I was not calling each day, they were not giving me feedback on their own will, that is kind of irresponsibility in my opinion. Once I was even asked by reception to remember them this problem the next morning:). before the last day we were offered to change the room, but it was too late for this. I am sure that this kind of problem is very rare, but need to be mentioned to not happend in the future. Additionally, the wall between neighbour room occasionally sounded like earthquick, like wall was cracking. It was happening when neighbour room’s door was opening or closing.

Our stay was delightful! The hotel was cozy, with top-notch comfort. The breakfast was a highlight—scrumptious omelets, eggs benedict, a variety of pastries, and a vast selection of cheeses, fruits, hams, nuts etc. - truly a feast! Management was exceptional, ensuring all our needs were met. It is located just a 6-minute drive from the Ziggo Dome. The location offered great connectivity to the city center while providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Beds were super comfy, and the room view was fantastic. We also loved that it was pet-friendly. Highly recommended!

All the superlatives fit this wonderful place where the staff is top notch, professional, kind, helpful, the best. I had a great view of the river from my window. It is clean, comfortable, modern, soundproof. Early check-out, late check-in are also possible for a fee. The subway is across the street and it takes you to the center within minutes or to the airport. For the airport, you take the opposite direction and change train at Lelilann. My stay in Amsterdam was greatly helped by my accomodation at Leonardo Royal. I was so glad to find a quiet, yet super modern hotel outside the center. Thank you all at Leonardo Royal.

Great hotel. Great location, right next to Overamstel metro station. There was a ticket vending machine at the station, but it was not working. But you could just tap your credit card at the station gates. The city center is 15 minutes away by metro from the hotel. Parking is available at the hotel. You can park outside the hotel for free or opt for hotel's dedictated covered parking by paying a very small fee. We opted for having breakfast at the hotel during our stay and it was great and definitely worth it. The breakfast hall can get busy, so have patience. The staff was very friendly and really helpful. The rooms were great and clean with all the facilities. They have drinking water outlets inside the hotel, which is very convinient. Definitely recommended hotel.
