About 150 metres from the station. Large room. Clean and comfy.

The link to the electronic entry key was blocked by Booking.com messaging so my email address was needed. There were a couple of faults at the property but these were fixed by maintenance promptly. The entrance door to the suites was at the rear of the property, a bit confusing on arrival.

- super spacious room - lovely colors in the room - excellent bed/matrasses - excellent location in the center of Hengelo - coffee and tea facilities in the room - cutlery available - small covered balcony - huge television with digital connection (Netflix, YT, Videoland etc)

- no secure parking space for a bicycle - there is no staff as you enter the building with a digital key, so unclear where to reach out in case of a problem/question

Close to the station, wonderfully quiet and calm, great room -- clean, spacious, comfortable bed, facilities for tea and coffee and a small kitchenette, easy access with digital key, very private and relaxing space, beautiful lighting design (e.g. light just behind a plant creating palm shadows in the seating area). Restaurant staff was friendly and willing to keep my suitcase before check-in time.

Really no complaints. And that is rare for me.

The space of the room was great

Someone else in another room must of turned their TV on and it took control of ours ,.so we couldn't watch what we wanted. The controllers must be on the same channel it was very frustrating. We didn't expect this when paying that amount for the room for 3 days . This problem definitely needs looking at .

Beautiful big rooms, quiet location, loved the balcony, very clean, good location w/ free parking.

Checking in was complicated and the mobile phone key access was a problem when my phone ran out of battery. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and the service and food was good but it took a long time for the food to be prepared.

Very nice room, private parking. Spacious. With kitchen aera which we did not expect. Cleanliness was perfect. We had a balcony on the ground floor.

I do not like the fact that we could not check in with a human being. You have to take your phone with you when leaving the room as there is no "normal" key. I prefer personal contact instead of everything going online

Digital key access was smooth and convenient. Clean, comfortable, spacious and well furnished with a patio. Staff were responsive to online communication.

There is a counter with high stools but otherwise no desk so not great for work. Also no luggage storage as described. More information about dining options would be welcome.

The Beautiful Suite at Het Wapen van Hengelo is spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing stay! Only small downside: the lift is quite loud and takes a while. But overall, a great experience with friendly staff and a central location.

Tea & coffee was not replenished after first nights stay but I did get some frpm the restaurant. Bath towels were changed after the first night - this was not necessary and enviromentally - not the best - offer your guests a choice of keeping the same bath towels or asking for new ones

Size of the room, kitchenette, water closet, quiet, charming, close to train station and town square.

Access to the building. Modern approach but for foreigners it was exceptionally complicated.
