This was my second stay and I deliberately booked it again. It is a comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Raalte, a short walk from the town centre and conveniently located for onward travel by road. The restaurant has an eclectic choice of creatively served dishes and the service is very good. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and a welcome change from the "chain" hotels. If you like American motorcycles there is a museum next door but it was only open Fridays to Mondays when I was there.

Nothing really not to like! Being close to the road, there is some light traffic noise in rooms on the side facing the road. It absolutely did not disturb me but just to mention it, if you are light sleeper or need complete silence at night.

Room was spacious and clean. There was a mixup with the room type but it was sorted out very quickly in reception. We slept very well! Restaurant had an interesting position in the menu - chef's plates - which is a surprise meal. You can advise them about allergies etc. and if you'd like meat, fish, or vegetarian meal and you get a surprise :) I liked that idea!

Bathroom in our room was a bit dark - would be nice to have some extra light. We ate at the restaurant, and while the food was perfectly ok, it wasn't mind blowing and the price wasn't cheap.

On the outskirts of Raalte, a great location when cycling. Breakfast was plentiful and very decent. Plenty of place to park one's bicycle. The bed was comfortable and spacious.

Service was a bit overbearing, they really wanted us to book an evening meal. The room was very stuffy, had to be careful to leave the windows open as there were plenty of mosquitoes around.

The children enjoyed the room had two storeys. The hotel was surrounded by a pieceful country landscape. The breakfast was nice, staff was friendly. We found an excellent, child-friendly pancake restaurant nearby, which was a big plus.

The stairs in the room did not have a rail, which can be dangerous for children. We were unable to use the electric charger in front of the hotel, there was no information for foreigners how the charger can be used.

- no AC in the rooms - Netflix and other streaming platforms not available on the Tv - EV chargers do not work properly (other locations available within 5 minutes walking)

It is a very good place to see some very interesting parts of the Netherlands. We liked our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Thanks a lot for the nice stay.

It was great for New Years Eve - the staff was so friendly even though they were busy and I felt so welcome. And the breakfast was amazing! They let us sleep in and check out later on New Years Day, no charge! And everyone could enjoy a longer breakfast as well. Really generous of them! I'll definately return.

Fantastic, cery helpfull stuff. We have arrived on the night, we were affraid od how we will find the key and mamy other yhings but personel stuff had opened the Doors that we could find the way to the room. They sens us all exact instructions on mail and were cery kind, professional, helpfull. I will recommend Your place to my friends or family.

It is very cosy and spacious. Our family room was great. We enjoyed staying there. The Brasserie restaurant was lovely and food was good. Staff was extremely nice. They prepared a packed breakfast for us since we had to leave early.

Good location and friendly welcome. Nice and quiet, despite being on a busy roundabout.

Shame the. Motorcycle Museum next door was only open at weekends (and we stayed midweek).
