Great location! The remodel of the facilities is very well done. I had stayed at the hotel several years ago, when it had the old wooden staircase. The modern update is beautiful. Also, the breakfast was amazing. Many options for any appetite. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Getting my room cleaned in a timely manner seemed to be a challenge for the staff. It seemed my room was always the last to be cleaned, even after speaking to front desk personnel. I stayed in the hotel for 8 nights, it seems like this could have been worked out. I was even offered free drink coupons because of the inconvenience - but that never happened.

Stayed here numerous times and it is very very good, excellent decor, rooms very well appointed.

Made use of the late checkout option as i had to get through some work till very late into the night/4am, 5am when finally got to sleep, but was woken up by cleaning staff at 11am to ask me to vacate the room, I had planned to sleep till 1230am, so, if using this option ensure staff know that you have paid for it. On checking out, I asked reception to consider reimbursing cost of late check out (30+ euros) as I had been inconvenienced by them interrupting my rest, so far no response, so, quite disappointed in that.

Absolutely top class, well appointed spacious room, nicely decorated, and with a balcony. Although I did not eat at the hotel, the restaurant looked very nice, I will eat here next visit. Great shower / water pressure / toiletries.

Nothing to dislike here! As general note on the town of Schagen (absolutely no reflection on this or any other hotel), I would mention that, given that the hotel is around 10 / 12 minute walk from train station coupled with the fact that theres never any taxis available at the taxi stand, (I've never even seen one in my several visits) be prepared for the walk if arriving by train, especially if raining or with other than light baggage.

We enjoyed our 13 day long stay! The location was stunning, our room had a balcony looking out over a beautiful church. Around the hotel were lots of restaurants, cafes, and stores to shop at all in walking distance. The hotel also has a restaurant which we went to on our last night there, it's a surprise menu but we enjoyed it! The train station wasn't too far away either which was perfect for when we wanted to get to other cities during our stay. Checking in was easy and fast, so was checking out. The room was more spacious that expected which was nice.

It was a little bit pricy. A clock in the room would've been nice maybe as there was none. Besides that everything was perfect!

The location is the best we have gone E karting and like 15 minutes walk from the train station(Schagen) It is worth a try. Explore Holland it is an experience that you will always cherish. Luv Holland!!!

Nothing. The only thing is that we have to much stuff and we have to walk to the station but it is our choice we are loaded. There are lots of nice things around we cannot stop ourselves , we have to have it.

The staff were extremely friendly and attentive of our needs. Couldn’t fault one bit

There is no criticism. We were even informed in advance of our stay that there would be a party happening on one of our nights. On the night in question the staff were extremely attentive that we were seated away from the party regardless of the fact that it wasn’t too noisy to begin with

The hotel is really nice, located quite conveniently in the center of the town, nearby lots of shops and restaurant and somehow is still very quiet despite a fair going on during my stay there. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor has a particular luxury feeling. The room is well equipped, has a nice balcony to relax after one long day.

Breakfast was well presented but could use some more variety.

Breakfast was very good. Room was quiet and comfortable so I slept well.

Air conditioning was set to a low temperature while I was out. It took all night to warm up. No switch for the main light at the bedside. My evening meal on the 4th was very good except that service was very slow (there were few people eating and plenty of staff).

Location was excellent. Although the hotel did not have many facilities was surrounded by everything. When I say everything I mean everything. Cafes, Restaurants, Shopping Mall, nearby free parking.

The breakfast could have had more full grain products. However there was a good selection and fresh fruit. The coffee was terrible, both the cappucino and the regular coffee.
