It's a new hotel, everything looks new. The food was ok, but not enough vegetables. This was the cheapest beer in Norway at 60% of the higher prices I have been paying. The road is being widened, maybe this is a negative, waiting at lights, but it's a positive for anyone reading this who will find the works complete. It's a great drive to get to Hammerfest and it's darker than Tromso. The morning staff were very nice, maybe because my dog howled at them.

Room was small, barely walk round the bed, and as usual in Norway, I had to open a window and switch off the heating, I thought these Nords were accustomed to the cold but they keep their rooms hot. It wasn't busy and evening staff didn't really fancy a chat, but they were very polite.

We had an appartment the building next to the hotel. The appartment is just stunning and has everything including a nice kitchen and a modern tv with built-in chrome cast. The location is a bit outside of the city center but some of the sights, particularly the Struve memorial, are nearby and everything is easy to reach by car. In the evening the restaurant is a bit limited but provides good value for money. Breakfast is very good. Nice terrace outside the appartment to have a glass of wine. Would go here again.

Number one is the staff. Very helpful in support of my emergency transport needs and information about the local area. The evening buffet was well prepared, having a good selection and was much needed on a cold winter night. The room was modern and comfortable.

Nothing bad - Located the other side of the water from the centre of town (30 mins on foot) and, as normal in Norway, 2 single duvets rather than a double one are the only "flaws"

The staff! The lady and gentleman at reception and in the restaurant were very open, sociable, willing to talk and actively provided information. Traveling as a tourist, we received such good tips.

Room in perfect condition, it seemed recently constructed. Easy check-in and check out without visiting the reception. Nice location by the sea. Free parking in front of hotel. Good breakfast. Very calm and quiet. Nice modern architecture.

Payment through an app, which proved challenging because I had not taken my e-banking codes with me on the trip, so a travel companion had to make the payment.

Breakfast was very ordinary, just fine, nothing else. The ambiance in the breakfast area is like the breakfast - just fine.

It’s better if the room space are slightly more bigger coz it’s quite small space for the walkway to right hand side of the bed and towards the window.

Bigger room than most, near city center, free parking, restaurant serves an evening meal (paid for additionally)

The bathroom lacked any place to rest your items like hang clothes and place your wash supplies.

Very modern, nice room design. Comfortable bed. Good view. Good breakfast.

If you order a la carte, there is a very small selection of dishes.
