I'm so grateful that Barent's Hotel exists, was located in the area it was in, had availability, had blackout curtains and a super comfy bed. I was in the area and hadn't expected to spend the night but after being awake for 25 hours, I needed to get to sleep ASAP! I had the best sleep of my life on my trip to the nordics in this hotel - and I was able to check in right after booking through booking.com. So grateful

Excellent location, just a 150 ft walk from the Barents bus drop-off at the Thon Hotel and a fraction of the cost of the Thon. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms, floors polished and disinfected daily, we saw this. Free Coffee from an automatic espresso machine in the lobby. Owner on site, at least after 11am, let us store luggage in hotel until 6pm departure, let us use comfortable chairs in lobby. Very convenient, next to a large square with an AJ mini-market for takeaway or eat in food, and a couple of convenience stores 7-11 type, Narvesen and Joker chains.

The unpainted front of the Hotel puts one off at first, and does not show the cleanliness and comfort within. Please repaint the sign at least. The word Frokost (meaning breakfast) has been poorly brushed over in the large Barents Frokost Hotel sign, as they do not serve breakfast post-Covid. The sign looks ugly and can be repainted at low cost to improve appearance. The owner does not speak English, but is co-operative and we could communicate, Thanks Mr. Al-Masri!

It was clean. We had no internet however the staff gave us the modem which we placed in the common area outside our room and after this it worked fine.

It was a little bit of an error on my part as I did not realise that facilities were shared. It’s a little run down however very clean and the staff were nice and drove us to the port the next day. By Norway standards this is a cheap hotel and at this price, for one night prior to I honestly could fault it. Take your iPad and your own entertainment.

No fuss at all - check in was eventless and consisted of a key placed for me to be picked up at the otherwise closed reception. The room was clean and up to expectations.

Well - a glass for drinking water etc was missing. The internet info in the room was wrong but updated at the reception. Otherwise no issues.

Hotel Barents doesn't provide any breakfast and I'm very happy about it. I love to cook my own food 😋. I'm very happy to use microwave and coffee machine provided . I'm very happy with clean and well refurbished room. All facilities and equipment in working order. Staff of hotel friendly and helpful. Hotes has family atmosphere, which I love so much .

I loved how comfy the bed was. I think it has genuinely been years since I have stayed in a better hotel bed. Good location, friendly guy who was running the place

I like the room its good value especially if only if i stayed for a night before going to Tana Bru location is accessible to the Bus terminal in Kirkenes Centre.

Clean and fresh bedroom and shower/toilet. Nice communal meeting facilities. Central location.
