The lady working at the reception was really nice and helpful when I told her that a friend of mine needed to see a doctor here since she fell down to the floor and hurt her wrist in the last stop of the cruise. She helped call the emergency and making appointment with doctor and made the reservation of taxi for us to the hospital. Thanks for her kind help! Also we were granted for early check in. The room was nice and clean. Buffet in the morning was good. The ocean view was nice. And it was close to the Shanghai Restaurant with walking distance.

The toilet in the bathroom was a bit loose.

Excellent hotel for a one night stay between my Havila voyage and next destination. 15 minutes' walk from the ferry terminal. Bus stop to the airport literally outside the hotel. 20 minute journey. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with amazing fjord view. Very good breakfast. Great to have good coffee freely available in the lobby and good coffee machine and kettle in the room. Short walk into town. Interesting place!

It's a nice hotel and well located. The breakfast was good and plenty to choose from. The room was comfortable.

The price was very high and for that price I expected more comfort. For example there we no tissues in the room, no toiletries, a kettle only without teabags (we got them from downstairs). I would expect a coffee machine in the room ( again you have to get it from downstairs). The staff seemed disinterested. Overall I felt we were a captive market with little choice in Kirkenes. Luckily we went out for amazing Thai food in town because the hotel restaurant prices were ridiculous.

I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel and had a fantastic experience overall. The property is stunning, and the views are absolutely amazing. The restaurant on-site served excellent food, making every meal a delight. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure that all my needs were met. The room was clean and well-maintained, though I did find it a bit hot during my stay. Despite that minor issue, the comfort of the hotel more than made up for it. The location is very convenient, with easy access to walking around town and exploring local attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great amenities, attentive service, and prime location.

Bright, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast, attentive staff, good location.

Wish there was a bathtub instead of a stand up shower. My room was entered twice unauthorized by a man wanting to change the menus and a maintenence worker, and it really annoyed me. The second time it happened I had the "do not disturb" on my door and I had 15 minutes prior to checkout. The restaurant quality was not that good, their fish had poor seasoning and was overpriced. I was advised to purchase a 200 dollar safari instead of a 50 dollar crab to "save money". I enjoyed my time here but there are improvements possible.

Location is close to the cruise ship docks, and buses stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel is right on the waterfront, so some nice views. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast buffet is amazing. The maitre d' in the restaurant, Zoran, was very personable and knowledgeable. At the same bus stop, you can catch a bus to the airport.

I was unable to find decaffeinated coffee in the huge breakfast buffet. We asked one of the employees and his response was "no".

Very convenient hotel for a one night stay between disembarking from the Havila voyage and flying to Oslo. The Flybussen stops right outside to arrive at and leave the hotel . Very central to look around the town and about a 20 min easy walk to the museum. The restaurant serves Norwegian food and international and is a reasonable price for Norway. Breakfast is superb too The rooms are functional ,clean and the bed is very comfortable. The area is quiet and peaceful

Nothing really- ideal for a one night stay

Good hotel, always clean and staff friendly and helpful. Great central location and nice tea and coffee available throughout the day. We had to make 3 bookings to cover our stay but hotel good and let us keep same room throughout.

Conflicting information about breakfast on red day. Reception staff stated 11am but head chef cleared food away from 10:15 am saying breakfast was only until 10am. Breakfast fruit selection varies from day to day with poor selection on several days but good cooked selection but could be hotter. Very expensive for keeping room later as charged for day rate rather than per hour.

Great location, right on the water's side, just a couple of minutes walk from the small town centre. The airport bus drops off here, the snowhotel shuttle picks up here. Friendly staff, quick check in. Good room (ask for one with a view!). Nice shower. Great breakfast, really good food with loads of choice. 15 minutes walk from the Havila port.

Nothing, it was a great place to stay in Kirkenes.

Great location, staff very helpful and hotel always clean and tidy. Breakfast selection improved throughout stay particularly addressing the initial poor selection of fruit. Good variety of hot and cold food and tea and coffee choices. We had a late flight out and hotel very accommodating with a late check out which they provided. We opted for superior room with sea view as stayed many times before so we know we like this type of room. Spacious with all necessary amenities, complimentary toiletries provided and cleaning standard very good by Lin. Comfy beds but can get a bit warm.

Only real problem was the mis- communication regarding breakfast on their red day. Reception said until 11am but head chef insisting 10am. Initially a poor selection of fresh fruit but this improved during our stay.
