The location of the hotel is ideal. It was easy to walk everywhere, since the hotel was very central. Great restaurants nearby, so there was no shortage of places to eat at.

The breakfast lacked variety, ie not too many halal or kosher options. In addition, the ventilation in the room was poor. I left the bathroom door open after showering, and even though the window was open, the smoke alarm was triggered. A staff member burst into my room before I was fully dressed, which I found to be extremely poor taste (there was a quick knock and the door opened immediately after, before I had a chance to respond). I voiced my concerns to reception, only to get a simple apology and an addition that it was my fault.

Excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choices including Norwegian specialties and gluten-free that far surpassed our expectations. Room was spotlessly clean with comfy beds and TV with basic channels (Sky News the only one in English). Hotel is just steps away from the waterfront and centre of town. Kids loved the burger place across the street.

Like many places in Norway, parking wasn't provided, but we had no problem finding a spot in front of the hotel - with enforcement beginning at 11:00 on Saturday. Might be different if not arriving on Friday or Saturday. View from rear room not great (alley behind hotel, where some remodelling is going on), but not really an issue.

We loved our one night stay at Fosna hotel. Great location, free parking just outside the hotel( we stayed over the weekend), nice breakfast, friendly staff. Our room had the most amazing view over the Harbour. Comfortable cozy beds. Walking distance to shops .

Some electrical wires were left exposed in the ceiling, however I couldn’t down mark for that.

Very nice hotel, you can see they are being modern by some touches here and there of humours and up to date concern about the hotel world. You can tell it's not just another anonymous hotel but there is a soul behind it (thumbs up for the "this is how it works" sheet) Breakfast is big and with lots of options, hot drinks available all the time. Staff was nice. The room was giving onto an inside courtyard and was quiet regarding the outside (you could still hear your neighbour's tv depending on how loud they put it) Single room not too big but big enough. Desk to work. There is a space with books to read (some not in norwegian)

Ok true, we put water everywhere in the bathroom when we shower. Yes, you do have a few steps to walk up/down once you take the elevator, not a problem for me as I had light luggage but I understand the issue for some.

Quite a basic hotel for a fair price. Comfort was good, bath room good, size of the room good, beds were good. Everything was clean. Also the breakfast was fine. The location is good, in the centre of the city. It was no problem to park the car in the neighbourhood of the hotel.

We kept the window open for the night, but had to close it because there was too much noise on the street. You cannot blame the hotel for that.

Although we had only a one night stay at this hotel, everything meets our needs. The room was big and the en suite is also a good size. Buffet breakfast was superb with a lot of variety. The 24/7 coffee/tea station in the lobby was a plus. It was also very accommodating that we could sit and wait in the lounge area after our check-out to wait for our departure bus. We will recommend this hotel.

It was the only place available in town when Airbnb host ghosted us. Despite the reviews, we found the place has decent room(little old), excellent location, good breakfast though limited options and good service.

What a great place to stay. In the room is a paper bag inviting the guests to recycle by donating a piece of clothing to the less fortunate - which is brilliant! Within walking distance of the harbour, ferrys, buses, shops and restaurants. The manager was super helpful in giving great advice on attractions and things to do. Very quiet and comfortable.

Comfortable beds, good shower, spacious room, lots of choice for breakfast.

Building across the street without elevator, so to get to 4th floor with luggage was quite a challenge.
