The hotel seems to be located at the end of the world, a very beautiful place! It’s incredibly quiet, and while walking outside, you can only hear the sound of the waves. You can book other outdoor activities and equipment through the hotel in advance, so you won’t feel bored at all. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the port, so traveling by car would be more convenient. Since we didn’t have a car, we booked the port shuttle service in advance. The staff is very friendly, after booking the hotel, we received a lot of useful information and guides, such as additional activities and prices, dining options, hotel location, weather forecast, weekly schedule of boats departing from different ports to different destinations, etc., which are very helpful for first-time visitors to the island. I checked many hotels, and only this one provided all the useful information I wanted to know in detail. Dinner is very delicious! I also noticed that if guests will miss lunch due to activities, the hotel can pack lunch for them in advance, which is a great experience!

Very large apartment with very nice view of fjord. Apartment is located at the front row so there is no any building to block the view. Equipment is well maintenance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is free.

Should have instruction on how to lock the front door. We tried to lock and it did not work at first but finally we found very small instruction attached at the door knob

Best location for hiking in Senja - most of must-do hikes within 30 min from the hotel. Main building has an elevator at least to 2nd floor. Good restaurant on site - very handy for breakfasts and dinners. Plenty of information about the island on reception incl. excellent illustrated hiking guidebook (in Norvegian). Very welcoming and helpful staff. Souvenir shop at reception selling also basic necessities. Great wi-fi.

Single room very very small, and window doesn't open. Strangely, foot towel/carpet is not provided in bathroom, only face and bath towels. Parking for hotel guests rather far from the hotel building itself. As others mentioned, bed is a bit too soft but this is a matter of personal preference.

Fabulous hotel right on the water. We booked a very small bunk room so it was a bit tight with luggage but it was functional. The beds were comfortable and bathroom good plus a kettle was a bonus. We had a nice view across the water. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very friendly staff.

The room was quite small but that’s what we booked so no surprise. If you have a lot if luggage or want some space then book a bigger room.

I recently stayed at Mefjord Brygge and it was the perfect base for a hiking adventure near Segla. After a long day on the trails, this place was an absolute haven to return to. The proximity to Segla and several other shorter hikes made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The staff at Mefjord Brygge were exceptionally accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They even helped us get set up in the wellness center so we could unwind in the sauna—a much-needed treat after a day of hiking. Both the rooms and the sauna were spotless, and I have to say, the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It was such a relief to sink into that cozy bed after a day on the trails. The restaurant was another highlight. Dinner was fantastic, and the breakfast offerings were equally impressive, providing the perfect start to another day of adventure. I couldn’t help but feel extra grateful for a warm bed and delicious food, especially after watching the steady stream of camper vans passing through the area. Overall, I would highly recommend Mefjord Brygge to anyone planning a trip to this stunning part of the world. It’s a cozy, comfortable retreat with excellent amenities and an unbeatable location for outdoor enthusiasts.

It's a great hotel in a lovely village wedged between the fjord and the mountains. Breakfast was very good and the room was beautiful. We got upgraded to a bigger room and had an amazing view of the water front and the mountains.

The one draw back with the bigger room and the great view was that the curtains were not up to the task of darkening the room at all. We were in Norway in early June and we obviously knew that it doesn't get dark outside. We were quite surprised, however, that the room was almost light enough to read in with the curtains fully drawn.

This cabin is the most impressive and my favorite accommodation during my trip to Norway. It is fully equipped and offers a great view and scenery. The cabin I booked has four beds. When we returned from the strong winds outside, the warm kitchen and cozy lights made us feel very safe and comfortable. The bar downstairs serves excellent venison, which was a completely new and exciting culinary experience! The nearest supermarket is a short drive away, and it’s also a fantastic place!

The room is small but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and a lot of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good, my husband and I ordered fish and it was fresh but it took a while to get our order, the server explained to us that the kitchen staff were getting behind and it was good that he explained the situation to us and we never had a problem about it. the hotel is close to where we want to do our hike. And the town has a different vibe to it , we enjoyed our stay.

Great view to the mountains across the fjord from the public area. Room had a restricted view of mountains. It is clean with comfortable beds and a good shower. This is an isolated village, don't expect a lot of services. It is quiet and peaceful. We had a delicious dinner at the affiliated restaurant 500m down the road.

There were no bedside tables in spite of the fact there was plenty of room for them. The room (a double) was small considering the price.There seems to be no soundproofing between the rooms so you hear conversations, coughing and more.

The position of the cabin is great and the staff is really welcoming and helpful, they gave us lots of nice suggestion! The cabin was cozy after a day of hiking! The restaurant is also good and I recommend it! The free parking included is a plus!

I would just recommend to add some equipment in the kitchen of the cabin.
