The apartment was perfect & the location amazing … heavy snow actually enhanced the whole experience … If you visit , the supermarket EIDE HANDLE ( about 4 miles away) is perfect for your shopping needs ( the owner recommended this & it’s a really nice place to shop Would recommend a car because of the location in relation to Tromso If you’re northern lights hunting I hope you have better luck than us

Tiny things maybe need attention in terms of how the apartment is equipped ( we bought ourselves a toasted sandwich maker which hopefully will help future guests ) … nothing ( other than a toaster ) missing just cutlery etc a little tired The apartment was beautifully warm , shower / hot water perfect , kitchen/ cooking facilities like brand new … might just be a Norway thing but would’ve loved a toaster !!!

The location right on a fjord is incredible with amazing views, especially at sunrise and sunset. Easy access as it’s only a 20-minute drive from the airport and 35 minutes from Tromso city centre. The road is icy though and it's best to rent a car. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of scenic drives. There's a nice cafe a 10-minute walk away (spikes for your shoes are recommended). The apartments are modern, clean, warm, and spacious.

We're not a fan of the twin beds (but knew that going in). There was no sharp knife (only a bread knife), shampoo or shower gel.

The view was incredible!!! Great value for the unit itself and there was an amazing grocery store just down the road (Edie Handel). I visited with my wife and two daughters in winter and it was everything we wanted out of a fjord experience. We would love to visit again in the summer. The WiFi worked great and it came with a washer. Perfect place for a small family. And we saw the northern lights right from our balcony.

The doors in the main hallway all hit each other when trying to open them. The shower doors didn’t close right.

Fishing cabin sitting at the shore of beautiful Ersfjord, about 30 minutes away from Tromso and about 20 mins from the Tromso Airport. Warm and very clean. Beautiful view outside, northern lights (not guaranteed in price :)) above your head in winter. It's super quiet and relaxing, area around is very very beautiful. Apparently you can go boat fishing and kayaking on the fjord in the summer.

It's listed as hotel, but it's a building with rental apartments, in winter the reception is unmanned, but staff is very responsive via whatsapp, even late in the evening. Apartment is clean and functional, but has minimum equipment (i.e. blankets would be nice) and is quite simplistic.

Ersfjordbotn Brygge has a scenic location situated at the end of the road in between the fjords! It is a great getaway from the busy city life nestled in a cozy corner. The host was super helpful and kind to drop us till the bus station. Kudos to providing such luxuries and making us feel at home far away from home.

There’s nothing not to like about the property, it’s just that owing to its secluded location, there aren’t many eateries around and the one cafe closest to the apartment is also closed on Sunday. One should better be prepared with supplies to eat as commuting during the snow storm could be a challenge with very limited public connectivity.

The location is outstanding; beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The apartment met all our needs - it was spacious, clean and had a fantastic view (we were in apartment no.3 which has a side window that looks down the fjord, as well as the main view across the harbour area). There are loads of amazing hikes and pretty beaches less than an hour's drive from the apartment (e.g. Sommarøy and Brosmetinden).

A few clothes wash tablets would have been very useful as it's not possible to buy these in small quantities - but this is a very minor point - all other facilities were great. There is a new, small, single story timber building next to the apartments which was not shown in the online photos. I think this might affect the fjord view for some apartments (but would not affect the wonderful harbour view).

I didn't expect that the apartment that I rent was that big. It is excellent and it face directly to the sea (west). The place is not totally isolated, there are some houses nearby. Still, you will need a car. The bed is okay, just the top bunk bed is squeaky. Other facility is also work like brand new. If you have the intention to catch the aurora, it will not be as easy as going out to your balcony and saw one. In most of the time, you will need to go to a slightly remote area. The balcony facing west when normally aurora spread from north to south. You can walk a bit in the neighbourhood but behind the apartment, there's a hill that will block the way. Again, it might not always happened likat what I describe. You must have your car and hunt the aurora to a dark area where there is no light. And, if you stay here, we are only talking about 2 to 10 Km away to find such location.

Squeaky bed.

We booked 2 nights here hoping to see Northern Lights. On 2nd night, we could walk out to balcony area and saw the aurora !! Beautiful location by the Fjord, far from city lights but short 30 min.drive to/from Tromso center. Apt.was very spacious, kitchen could cook, warm floors and comfortable. Checkin/out was simple, the caretaker (whom we never saw) sent us message which room number and room was already open with keys inside. Plenty of parking space next to apt.and roads were well lit for night-time drive to.from town. Plan to buy your groceries, food for breakfast etc.from supermarkets in Tromso or on way. No convenience store near apt.

There are 2 bedrooms ; 1 with twin bed and 1 with bunkbed, so suitable if 1 person who can climb up/down. The kitchen doesn't have toaster or coffee so plan to bring your own. As several reviews mentioned, the lighting on ceiling is quite dim, so property should put in few standing lamps.

Location is good. It is close to town and many sightseeing areas. We can drive to Ersfjordbotn Viewpoint in only 3 minutes. View of fjord from room and balcony is very fantastic. Room is big and all equipment is new/very well maintenance. Host provided clear info for check-in.

If microwave can be provided it will be perfect. There is no curtain at the front door. Even though the room is at the corner and there should be no one walk through, we would feel more privacy if small glass at the front door has curtain.

Absolutely amazing views with the northern lights over the fjord. Everything inside the accomodation is comfortable, warm, nice kitchen, the bed, good views outside

A bit more personal reception (maybe write a note with information) or a more warm interior (its all a bit grey) would make it even better, but its allready really good and would recommend the place anyways
