The location was near from the shipping port- approx 10 mins to reach. Airport is also closer to the hotel. Bus stops were closer to the hotel as well, so easier to go to city center. Everything was convenient. I liked the staffs, camila and kate, they were helpful and also very lovely. Breakfast was good and most importantly, the view was extraordinary.

Room should had a kettle for boiling water or making tea. Had to go to 11th floor to pay for tea, that was not worth it, Tea should come as complimentary. Also to smoke, had to go to 1st floor outside building, could have been better if had smoking room.

The view from the room is very nice but the one from the reception/restaurant/lobby is simply amazing! We even got to watch the aurora from there. You can tell someone put a lot of thought into the design of the entire hotel. We also really enjoyed all the little funny details around the lobby! The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was quite simple, yet fresh and tasty.

Our biggest complaint is about the lack of a kettle in the room. Asking staff for hot water (either for medicines or tea) can be uncomfortable, especially when done more than once. Even putting one "tea-station" per floor would more or less solve the issue. Also, the parking lot is quite expensive.

Absolutely splendid stay! Fantastic location with majestic view from the room and, especially, from the bar and reception at 11th floor. One can watch the fjord, the mountains and departing aircraft! Delicious welcome drink! Super friendly staff! Big rooms with very comfy beds and clean and modern facitilies (in the welcome e-mail they mentioned the rooms are small to save every inch, but in fact the room was much bigger than usual rooms for 1 or 2 persons). One of my favourite hotels I've been to. Very friendly, modern, clean and interesting travel destination!

Clean rooms, good breakfast, amazing bar/leisure area at the top floor. Helpful staff, grocery store right next to the hotel and close to the airport. Quiet rooms.

A bit further away from the center, but as we were travelling with a car it was only 10 minutes away.

Proximity to the airport. Hotel is way out of the town centre but there is a great and frequent public transport service into town. The views from the room and the hotel bar are absolutely amazing.

At check-in, the only thing said to us was, "Can we have your ID?".We were then handed our room key with not another word said from the receptionist!! Rooms have very limited storage and are not well thought out for guests staying more than one night. No tea or coffee facilities available in the room.

Close to the airport

Unless you need to be near the airport, it’s not worth any saving you get here as you spend more in order to get to the city. Buses also are not that frequent (except in peak time). I was charged $200 more without being advised that this was a security payment (as it was lumped in with the full accom payment). The staff could only speculate as to why this was done and did not offer solutions. We asked staff about a few recommendations and all 3x seperate occasions we were effectively told to Google it. They also do not offer early checkin and are adamant about the 3pm time. This was fine for us as we arrived at 2:25pm but other guests in the lobby had clearly been waiting a long time. It just reflects poorly on the company to lack flexibility.

We absolutely loved our stay! Even before we arrived, the email letting us know about a welcome drink made us feel so special. When we got there, heading up to the top floor to check in was such a cool experience—and then you see that incredible view! The welcome drink was delicious and the whole space had such a relaxing, luxurious vibe. Our room was absolutely stunning—everything from the layout to the little touches. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap were beautifully chosen and felt like such a treat. One of the best parts was just watching the weather change from our window, especially with the snow gently coming and going—it was magical. And the breakfast! The selection was amazing. I loved seeing so many cereals—it seriously took me back to my childhood in the best way. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We quite like 2 seperate quilts from the other hotels but this brand is more like other hotels around Europe with their set up there

The hotel was great for value. Modern hotel with great view. Front desk was located on the 11th floor so you are greeted with a beautiful view. The facility is nice and clean. The room has decent size compared to many hotels in Norway.

When we arrived, there was only one staff who was responsible for check-in, tending to the bar and preparing for food. She's great but super busy. Each time when we need to talk to the front desk, there is always a wait. The hotel is located close to the airport not downtown Tromso so depends on your need, it is not as convenient going to downtown.

It's been a long time since I've seen a hotel as good as this Moxy near the airport. There is a reason why the reception is on the 11th floor, because there you have a beautiful view of the airport and the mountains. There is also a roof terrace that is perfect for the evening northern lights (if they are there). The breakfast was great with a lot of choice and small treats. The rooms were big enough and always clean. And the price was "cheap" compared to other hotels in Tromso,,,sorry, can't give more as 10,0 but i would...

Had to make an unplanned stop here, and we ended up having a lovely stay! The hotel was super clean and very comfortable. Check in was so easy, and the woman at reception was really friendly and helpful. There is also a lovely view from the spacious lounge at the top where reception is. Clever design! Also it was incredibly quiet. I did not hear a single sound while inside my room. Lovely for when you really need some rest!
