Central location with everything within walking distance! The area seems to be mostly newly built, so there is some construction, but it's not a major issue. The apartment was spacious with a minimalist, clean design—plus, no carpets! (This seems to be a big thing for me; everything feels so much cleaner without carpets.) You’re given a key code for the main entrance and the room itself. Our room wasn't cleaned until right before the official check-in, and since there's no reception like in a traditional hotel, it's best to arrive at check-in time and not before.

The only downside was that the heating system couldn’t be adjusted. I would have liked to turn it up to warm up after coming in from the cold, as it tended to be a bit chilly for me.

Proximity to restaurants etc. The view from the apartment was excellent. The apartment was reasonably well equipped, unless you intend to do some significant cooking. Surprisingly, it was quiet, despite being close to the bridge traffic (must be the triple glazing). We had an issue with the batteries in our door lock (which happens) but the staff were attentive and friendly.

WiFi in the living area is hopeless, probably because the Access Point is mounted on a steel plate in a cabinet which shields wifi radio signals from the living area (bathroom, bedroom and hallway had good coverage), this made it difficult/impossible to stream tv or music to the tv (which has Chromecast). The induction cook top hadn't been cleaned properly when we arrived, and it would only work if you held the lock button for 4 seconds.

The apartment is new, modern and clean. It is located in a new building which is mostly rented by Total Apartments. It's location is very convenient 5-10 minutes walk to the city center. Wi-Fi works very good. The apartment is quite tasteless, it is furnished in the style of a hotel room without any Nordic feeling. However, it provides all necessary equipment. The hosting company sent us direction and check-in info in advance thanks to which we have found the apartment quite easily. However, when needing some more info (how to lock the apartment, recycling of garbage) their response time is 1-2 days which can be rather long in case of urgent needs.

Amazing location. Very modern, clean and new. Liked the sliding doors for privacy for the couch bed. Entry with code was good.

The bedroom and bed are extremely small and the bed is incredibly squeaky. It was impossible to turn over without waking up the other person. This meant we used the couch instead. The apartment was so hot despite turning the heating down to the lowest setting. Made sleeping difficult. It would have been great to have a tea towel in the kitchen. And no problem to not provide toiletries but it would have been nice to inform the guests before so we could pack accordingly. Also it felt unnecessary to charge for left luggage seeing it is just a cupboard downstairs.

The location of the apartments is ideal: Only 5min walk away from Storgata (Street), direct view from the balcony to Tromsdalstinden and the Fjord combined with direct connection to many islands / bridges. This location is a perfect ‚base camp‘ for skitouring combined with taking advantage of some really good restaurants and bars in the town. The reception is responsive, nice and friendly. The following some maybe helpful hints if you stay a bit longer: * Note/memorize the access codes carefully (eg entrance, apartment, garage) * If you stay longer for skitouring with a lot of material bring a foldable travel clothes rack with you. * Parking in the city can be challenging. If you want to avoid ‚yellow tickets‘ make use of the garage: fully/digital plate recognition (payment via rental car firm OR own payment via easypark app (install before!) you drive into the garage… , do not park at ‚Private Parking‘ spaces. * Do not throw your garbage into the waste baskets in the hallways as we‘ve seen many Chinese guests doing … This is stinky and disgusting for others and against the waste separation approach of the city. * Bring your own kitchentowel * yes, WLAN strength differs, so the recommended chromcasting approach does not work nicely. Use the installed steaming apps on the TV, login and logout when you‘re leaving.

Loved everything about this place! The location, the view, all the space and conveniences. Great stay! Would stay again for sure!

The ONLY thing I didn’t love about it was that I didn’t get the door code or even the apartment number email before my arrival so I had no way to get in and no one to ask. I spoke to a nearby business who told me they actually had a front desk/reception office. Once I knew that everything was easy to take care of. The existence and location of the reception would have been very useful information to have ahead of time. Had I gotten the code ahead of time, ease of check in and entry was great.

Location - close to bus stop, it is very handy to go anywhere I like. View - provide good views in both back and front sides. Facilities - clear heater work well, warm.

Quite difficult to find the building, as there are several building called Total Department. Instruction is clear after you found the building, while it was very difficult for me and another customer to find it when we arrived at Skansegata 9, the address provided. Would be better to provide a simple map with photos. Limited daily necessaries provided - no shampoo, no napkin, no coffee provided - even though there is a coffee machine.

The location was perfect, in walking distance to everything we needed in Tromsø. The spacious apartment was great for a whole week as a family, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and plenty of space to hang out. Loved the balcony and view over the city—we even saw the northern lights right from our apartment one night!

The kitchen could have been better stocked with kitchenware, but when I messaged the host about it they dropped off more right away. I also wish we had two keys to the apartment, because it was difficult to go do things on our own since we needed a key to get into the building, and one person had to go all the way down from the 10th floor to let the other in. Parking was expensive, but it was worth paying more for the garage under the building than to park further away and outside for cheaper with the insane amounts of snow that Tromsø got the week we were there.
