The views were fantastic, of which I think every apartment has a very similar view as they all face to the sea. The apartment was very well equipped with appliances, hob, dishwasher, cafetière, wine glasses etc.

Although the property well equipped, just having some instant coffee and teas in the apartment would have been a very little cost to have made our stay more pleasant. It’s not a major downside, but it affected us only being there for 1 night, we didn’t have anything nor anytime to get supplies. I’m also unsure if there were any other facilities, the reception had a semi-bar sort of area.

A stunning view from the window! If you're lucky, you can enjoy the northern lights right from your room. The warm bathroom with underfloor heating is simply amazing! Every time we stepped in, especially after skiing or snowboarding, we didn’t want to leave. It was perfect! The room is not very big, but it has almost everything you need. It was clean. Free parking. The staff is friendly. There are lockers for snowboards and skis. The hotel is located near a ski resort, and there is also a grocery store not far away. Overall, we really liked it and will definitely come back someday. Highly recommend! I would suggest adding at least a small shoehorn, though I understand that some guests might take them, but still :) And there is a headboard with decorative pillows above the bed, but it is very uncomfortable. It’s impossible to sit on the bed for a long time because it causes neck pain. It would be better if they were removable.

Unfortunately, there is no charging station for electric cars. It would be a huge plus if there was an option to charge the car for a fee right at the hotel. The next point is more of a suggestion than a big drawback. There is a large dishwasher in a small room (even though there are only four sets of dishes), but no microwave. I would recommend considering adding a small microwave, as it was quite inconvenient without one, to be honest. Everything else was great!

Wonderfull view, close to gondula. Nice room. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Clever architecture and friendly design of the building and rooms. We enjoyed the stay.

Missing hairdryer, that could outgo in a cold. Missing soup plates or small soup bowles, although soup spoons are there. E.g. to prepare cereals with yoghurt is akward. The breakfast we have ordered is more sandwich style and not continental style. Anyway, not enough bred and not enough butter. But there was mayonnaise, which I have never seen at the breakfast table... We do not recommend the breakfast. All in all, we found it too spartan for the price we paid.

We had a pleasant stay. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom, and the internet connection was reliable. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly and charming receptionist, which immediately set a positive tone. Overall, a clean and well-organized place with great staff. We would recommend it.

The room was close to ground level. Although the building is slightly elevated, the view from the window was directly onto the unpaved parking area, which made things look a bit untidy. That said, the wider view over the town was beautiful and definitely worth mentioning.

Base Camp is the perfect location, for skiing & snowboarding. The room is spacious, with a modern cabin feel. The room has a well equipped small kitchenette to make your own meals. Beds are comfy and lovely heated bathroom. The "picnic style" breakfast was great every morning and they even assisted with a lactose free option. Coffee machine in the lounge area.

We didn't realized the hotel didn't have a restaurant on site and as it was over Christmas, Narvik literary had two restaurants and one small grocery shop open over the period of 3 days, a bit tricky to find meals. It would have been nice if the host at the reception gave us more information or suggestions on things to do in the area.

We stayed in a studio apartment for 2 nights. This place was exactly as it appears on the website, modern, clean and well equipped with plenty of storage. Plenty of hot water, good towels, comfortable bed and the best views in town. The views over the town and fjord are spectacular and can be enjoyed from sitting in bed or having a drink on the balcony. There’s also a bar in reception and a small roof garden on the top floor. The hotel is a quick walk to the cable car up the mountain and within a 10 minute drive to supermarkets for self-catering. There’s a good sized fridge with a freezer for food and drinks and good cooking equipment. Highly recommended.

The view is amazing and the rooms are nicely set up, well equipped and clean and with friendly staff. It is half way up the mountain, so easy access to ski or hiking/going on the gondola and a panoramic view from the hotel bar.

Our room could have been set up the other way around so we could see the fjord instead of the ski slope and trees, but we rearranged the furniture to have the view so that worked, but I would think that most people would prefer the amazing fjord view. If you are not fond of walking, be aware that it is quite a hike to town centre (especially back going up the mountain), but the view is worth it!

We enjoyed the fact that the check in was all online and all you needed was the door code to the room to enter. We arrived a bit late and left a bit early which definitely made the whole process easier. You can tell the property is fairly new as all the furniture looks really nice and modern. The view over Narvik is breathtaking from this high up. We loved the fact that there was a small kitchen in the room and we could cook something quick when we got there !

The bathroom is really quite small and not the most convenient once you've actually showered (and you've wetted a good part of the floor).

Feels a little cheap to not provide any form of complimentary shower gel / shampoo considering the price. Unfortunately for us in 2nd week of Feb there was barely any snow so only two small slopes were open at the very bottom of the resort. The local shop and town are a bit of a hike also so the location wasn’t ideal for the minimal skiing available.

Great view, a walk up the mountainside out of town, which suited us really well. We really enjoyed always being able to see thge amazing scenery from the big windows.

The kitchen had no room to store anything or prepare food, there was plenty of room but it had not been designed to make use of it.
