We had a last minute booking due to some plan changes and everything went so smoothly. Staff were very nice, welcoming. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with 2 dogs, which was no problem even with a last minute reservation (fee for dogs is 200kr). There is easy parking in the garage below the hotel (180kr/day) there are tesla chargers available, other chargers are available in the city. Breakfast was very good! Vegan options, tasty and fresh food

A little downside was that our room was located to the street, which was quite busy and noisy during the night, probably due to season there were many loud motorbikes driving until the late evening.

We had a good stay and we were happy staying in the center of town and amazing views from the windows. Staff in the reception were very happy to help and advise. Breakfasts were very nice.

Here and there a little bit of simple maintenance would be necessary. In the first room (out of two that we were renting) doors were not locking if additional force to pull them in was not applied, in the second doors were creaking loudly. Very minor things but when having two kids running from room to room very often caused a little problem for us.

The reception went beyond their duties. An early check-in was possible without surcharge. An aspect, what many people hope for after getting off the train from Stockholm. An inquiry about level preference was a nice detail, which elevated our experience, as we wished for a view. Nice and rich breakfast. Sky bar with decent options and nice views on all sides. Minibar at the lobby is plentiful. Even on Sunday, there is a shop on the opposite side of the street, which is open until 10 PM.

The tables at the breakfast restaurant might be a litte too close to each other. Not a big deal though.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive, making me feel truly welcome. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a stunning view that took my breath away every morning. The breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety to suit every taste. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm, relaxing, and perfectly suited for both leisure and business. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The Scandic Narvik hotel is located centrally with terrific panoramic views across the fjord and mountains from the rooftop bar. The building is modern and welcoming and the staff were lovely and friendly, especially the lady on breakfast service - nothing was too much trouble for her. Everywhere was beautifully clean and we slept well in comfortable beds with no noise disturbance. It is very close to shopping facilities and convenient to access activities, although we used the local taxi service a lot as we weren't confident walking far in snowy and icy conditions.

The room we had (twin standard) was a bit on the small side for two friends sharing. Due to the shape of the building and our room location, the room had a large curved window which compromised the floor space (albeit we had a wonderful view.) There was a small hanging wardrobe space and no other shelves so we lived out of our suitcases during the three days of our visit and this isn't really what you expect when staying in a 4 star hotel. The tea/coffee supplies were quite frugal and no milk was provided so we brought milk to our room from the breakfast service each morning.

The hotel located in the downtown Narvik and is a 5-minute walk from the bus station and about a 20-minute walk from the train station. The room was spacious, the staff helpful and friendly, everything was clean, the room and bed was conformable, and the Wi-Fi was good. The breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of selections, there is a restaurant and bar in the hotel, and there is shopping and restaurants close by in town.

There is a fitness center but it is very small and not a lot of equipment. Had a great stay at this hotel and would stay there again.

Comfy beds. Friendly reception for us late (post 11PM) arrivals. Great breakfast. Perfect as stopover on the way to Tromsø or Kiruna. Narvik itself more of a quiet town though we did enjoy the Narvik Museum (railway themed). Luggage storage behind a keycard-locked door. Family room was good size. Good location between bus terminal and train station.

Cocktails and esp mocktails at Tøtta (Tötta?) M quite overpriced. Would not be hard to outfit the family room with a room divider or curtain, ensuring privacy if needed.

This hotel should have a perfect 10.0 rating on booking.com. First of all, it is a beautiful hotel. There are gorgeous views from the lobby, the restaurant, the bar on the top floor and from all the rooms. We awoke to see a stunning winter wonderland from the panoramic floor to ceiling windows in our room. Second, our room was large with a very comfortable bed, a refrigerator, and plenty of outlets. Third, the food in the restaurant was fabulous. We had dinner there and the breakfast buffet. The variety and quality of the food was outstanding. It would be worth staying here for the breakfast buffet alone! Furthermore, they were able to accommodate my vegan gluten-free diet with plant based dairy products and the most delicious gluten-free toast I have ever had. The staff was courteous and helpful, the elevator is amazingly fast, and the parking garage is next to the hotel. You pay for it separately, but it is very convenient and you get secure, enclosed parking. The hotel is next to the Narvik WWII museum which is a must-see. The same building also houses tourist information, a library, a gift shop and a café. My only regret is that we stayed only one night. I hope to return one day.

Breakfast was great. Only hotel so far in a 15 night tour of Norway that didn’t cook the bacon beyond recognition 😀 All the staff from reception, roof top bar and restaurant were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant staff were very understanding ( brocoli salad 😉)they deserve a special mention. Absolutely would stay again & in fact we are next week on our return from Tromso.

We understand the shape of the rooms leads to complications when mounting tv’s (panoramic glass window). The tv stands could be taller as the bottom of the screen is below the bed level. Bigger mugs for tea/coffee would be nice.

I absolutely love this hotel. I remember seeing this building when I first came to Narvik nearly a year ago. It certainly stands out. I knew I had to stay here and I did for 4 nights. I was on the 4th floor, and it came with a view over the fjord. Nearly all the rooms here have either a view like I had or they have a view at the mountains. My room was comfortable. But I needed a chair that I could get comfortable and read. I used the downstairs area to read or write.

Pillows were too soft. No substance to them.
