We visited Crowne Plaza ,Sohar Oman during Eid from 30th march 2025 to 1st April 2025. Loved the property, pool, and breakfast. Our children loved playing in the pool during our stay. It was very clean and the best part is the water did not smell. Our room was cozy just wish it was a tiny bit bigger that's all:) Breakfast was simple and delicious. Chefs, servers are very kind ,helpful during our breakfast. Our room was always clean, the hotel cleaning staff Mr. Din Islam and Mr. Rameez have a done a great job in making sure our rooms were nice and tidy. They both get 10 stars each for working hard to keep the rooms tidy. The enitre staff of the hotel are very courteous, polite. Very comfortable, very cozy hotel.

- Grand lobby - Grand level rooms with dual shower bathroom - Toilet and shower area separated a bit . Great. - Breakfast with plenty of varieties. - Chef their is great 👍 given great omlets - Beds 🛌 are comfy and large enough for me , my son 10 year old and wife - Internet wifi is fast enough (50mbps) - Great view from rooms - Great swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool - TV 📺 was great, and there were plenty of channels in the English language. - Late checkout is possible for free upto 2pm

- No valet parking but enough parking space - Toilet water wasn't loading quickly, I had to wait 20 min to refill it, and the hand shower was not floowing water fast enough. - During my stay, the hair dryer wasn't working .. but staff given new one ..

Had an amazing stay at the Crowne Plaza Sohar. The service was outstanding, and I want to give special thanks to Hassan, Majeed, Mona, Iqbal, Islam, and Milan for being so attentive and friendly. My room was spotless, the food was excellent, and the overall experience was flawless. 10/10 – highly recommended!

The rooms were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Definitely recommend this amazing place. We used the pool and were very happy with the cleanliness of it. It’s very close the city center Sohar, if you need to purchase anything or have forgotten anything last minute. The hotel gives a very positive and pleasant experience to the guests. We loved our stay!

Lovely & peaceful location, beautiful lobby with natural sunlight perfect for staycation during short break Friendly & well behavior receiption staff during check in, check out & i the Restaurant. Breakfast spread excellent & good variety. Nice swimming pool my son love it Room just perfect for us family of 4, as per requesting for connecting rooms. it was small incident on TV, the team maintenance department is quickly response & replacing another TV unit. Room with small balcony facing towards main road & clean bathroom along with bath up

Location is a bit far from Sohar center so to go out in the night to Mascate that's not the right place but it was also our choice to be outside of Sohar center Some renovation have to be done quickly before it will start to be in bad shape (ex: outside bar of the Swiming pool, entertainement room...) Sand colour of the bathroom water...

Clean and spacious room, the staff and reception are very friendly and helpful The breakfast very variable and enough time 6:30 to 11 I’ve asked for extra bed for my son to be set in leaving room , I got it in record time and instead of 1 I’ve got 2, on top of this , free of charge My gratitude to all hotel staff

Pleasant experience all round and certainly worth a second visit. The reception staff were very welcoming and attentive. I was impressed by the number of Omani staff available in the facility. The housekeeping and room service staff were also great. The room was spacious and the facilities were of good standard. Although it's an aging hotel with some wear and tear, it was pleasant and gave a good feeling. I love the fact that there were a lot of recreational options like tennis, the pool and bowling.

There needs to be better upkeep of the scents of the rooms and towels .

needs attendant at pool and more towels should be provided at pool itself as it was finished and we were asked to bring from room. Dinner needs more Indian Vegetarian options.
