Where do I even begin? The location, the views, the resort, the room, the staff, the food, everything was beyond expectations! We went for a calm & relaxing 3 night stay and booked the Royal Suite which was a really good size and gave us breathtaking views of the mountains from our (pretty large) balcony. The room & bathroom were very well furnished and there was hot water available at all times. Also the water pressure in the shower was amazing, every shower felt therapeutic! (I should mention that upon arrival we were offered a complementary upgrade to one of the Chalets but we chose to stay with our original booking of the Royal Suite this time). The food was a little on the expensive side but it was worth it! We especially liked the Himmel Special Pizza, Grilled sandwiches, and the Pakistani & local dishes were also very well made. Breakfast was included in the booking and there was quite a variety of options every morning. Also the outdoor seating for the restaurant made for some unforgettable dinners, and the shisha after dinner hit the spot every time! The entire staff (management, restaurant, housekeeping) was very professional, polite and cooperative. We booked airport pickup & drop-off directly with the resort; our driver, Mr Sher Afzal, was also very professional and polite. Special thanks to duty managers Mr Hassan & Mr Sharaz, and also to restaurant staff member Mr Raheel for catering to our every need & going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite the small suggestion for improvement I'll list below, it was a 10/10 experience overall! We will be recommending Himmel Skardu to all our friends & family and will be visiting again soon!

ATV/Quad Bike service needs to be completely overhauled in our opinion. The staff explained that the ATVs are handled by a 3rd party vendor but it doesn't change the fact that the bikes were of very low quality. Since our focus this time was relaxation, not activities, I will not be removing any points for this but I really suggest the service be improved as it does take away from the overall experience. I hope it's better next time!

The location is really amazing. It’s definitely more spacious than any other resorts in the area. The rooms and the views were really good. Mr. Hassan Raza and Mr. Tashfeen Riaz were specially very helpful and accomodating with everything, and also the reservations team that helped me with some last minute changes to my booking due to an early morning flight.

The Sauna, Swimming Pool and Kids Area should be operational at all times. When I visited, it was under renovation but that will obviously be fixed in the next 3-5 days! Beef should be available in the restaurant.

The views from the room were absolutely stunning! The rooms were spacious and clean, we especially loved the bathroom and shower with the hot water! The staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety and a fresh station for any requests. The location is a bit isolated and so it takes a few hours to drive to the main attractions, this also means the prices for tours are quite high! The service in the restaurant wasn’t ideal, it would be quiet evening but the food would still take over an hour to arrive. WiFi can also be a bit patchy but such a great place to disconnect and relax!

Great sized and very clean rooms with bathrooms, we stayed in the family suite and everything was perfect for staying with a baby. Breakfast buffet was great with both western and Pakistani options. We ate dinner at the hotel every night - the food was excellent and great variety (Pakistani, burgers, pizza, Chinese). Staff is super helpful and attentive - nothing was too much to ask. The experiences they offer are brilliant. We wanted a chill day and we still managed to do some fun activities in the resort renting quad bikes and going for a guided hike.

The road to get to the resort is very rough, this is not the hotels fault but good to consider that it adds at least 20 mins to any journey out to visit attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at Himmel Skardu recently. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and pleasant. A special shout-out to Mr. Muneeb at the front desk, who handled our check-in swiftly and with a warm welcome, setting the tone for the rest of the stay. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning view of the river and mountains, which was a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to such serene scenery each morning was truly a highlight of the trip. Breakfast in the dining hall was equally delightful. Mr. Nisar, along with the two Mr. Shabaz servers, ensured that the service was prompt and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious, with a good variety to choose from, making each meal something to look forward to. Overall, the combination of great food, breathtaking views, and incredibly helpful staff made our stay at memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with excellent service.

The only downside to the experience was the condition of the road leading to the hotel. It was quite broken and made traveling a bit difficult. However, once you arrive at the hotel, the wonderful service, great views, and relaxing atmosphere more than make up for this inconvenience.

Luxus lives up to its standards in Skardu! Everything was as perfect as it could be. It was a much needed welcome for us at himmel finally after our tiring 4 days up and down all over skardu. The hotel is beautifully set up on the banks of indus river overlooking the majestic snow covered mountain peaks. The room had an amazing view and it was hard to imagine that you could get all the facilities and amenities in the middle of nowhere but Himmel lived up to its expectation!

The food was extremely expensive. For two people a meal will cost you roughly around 6-7k which is too much! Also this property is really far off and there is nothing around it to see. The road leading up to the property is also completely broken due to which it is inconvenient if you have to go back and forth somewhere.

It was in a beautiful location and really tranquil. Our room opened onto the river with mountains all around. Simply breathtaking. Our room was spacious and clean and very tasteful. The good we had was really good with changing local specialities, which was nice. The staff were great too, from Bilal to the manager, restaurant manager and all of the waiters and porters. Everyone went out of their way to help.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Some people may want to be nearer a town but for us the location was perfect.

The location is perfectly remote, giving you the best possible view of the mountains, river, and the surrounding nature without any distractions or light pollution. Food is surprisingly and authentically delicious, especially considering the remote location. This is a newly opened hotel with lots of potential to be great.

The hotel is still in its early stages of soft opening, so many facilities beyond the rooms and restaurant are not quite available yet.

From welcome drinks till my check I am satisfied will all the staff and services of the hotel especially I would like to acknowledge the professionalism and cooperation of Mr Hasan Manager at the reception and Mr Raheel Restaurant Representative. The quality and quantity of food was also quite impressive and truly it was higher than my expectations.

The views were spectacular. Rooms very spacious. Friendly staff.

Bumpy road on the way to the resort. Away from central skardu. Games room, pool etc were not ready as advertised. No entertainment for young children and families. Spoke to management who offered us a complimentary meal for the inconvenience which was a nice gesture.
