Room was clean, buffet food was good, nice beach with warm calm waters. A lot of entertaining around the pool area.

Most of the rooms are in the buildings situated on the hill, while the pools, the dining facilities, pretty much everything, are located down below. It takes around 80 steps to get to the room and vise versa, so if you have issues with your knees, it could be a problem. I think the property should designate some of the units on the ground level to seniors or people with impediments. Check-in is hectic and confusing. We arrived an hour earlier, and had to wait in a different location until check-in time (or pay $60.00 for an early check-in). Then, at 3:00 o'clock, everyone headed to the check-in, thus creating a crowd and long wait. They could've check-in people as they arrive, and then just hand in the keys as the rooms become available.

Fabulous property, grounds, trees, alleys, pools, space, nature, food, wine, front desk service, entertainment, hard working people in all areas, restaurants, bars, cleaning, lifeguards, bellman, security. I travel on a Canadian passport but I am also from the EU and lived / worked in hospitality in Jamaica and lived/ worked in Cayman as fitness instructor. So I don’t have just a Canadian tourist view. I’m also passionate about diving/ waterskiing.

A bigger, more up to date/ functional gym would be nice, and some water sports would be a normal addition.

overall, we very much enjoyed the property and room! our room was very spacious (ocean view plus 1 king bed) and clean. i would suggest reserving the all-inclusive PLUS option as the room comes with a stocked fridge (4 cans of soda, 2 cans of beer, 2 bottles of water, 1 full sized bottle of wine) that is restocked daily AND you’ll have access to a couple of pools that not everyone can use. they even enforce the private pool use! all the staff we’ve come across were nice and they kept the property tidy. a couple things to note that i dont necessarily consider bad: the drive is a minimum 1.5 hours but it took us over 2.5 due to traffic from PTY airport lobby 3 is a little difficult to find - especially if you’re arriving at night if you’re in the 40’s buildings, be prepared to hike up and down stairs to get to the main pools and restaurants

i had hoped there would be an upscale dining option. although the ala carte restaurants offered seated dining, the lack of printed menus and the meals offered did not seem to be an elevated experience.

The resort is gorgeous with lots of trees, beautiful pools, staff is very friendly working hard to accommodate everyone. The ocean front room was big and beautiful with perfect view, water slides were a definite plus, food and drinks were tasty, the music and atmosphere was party vibes with great sense of humor. Entertainment nights were awesome, diversified, captivating, interactive, great dancers, gymnasts, magicians. Entertainment was great. Lifeguards were paying lots of attention when the sea was rough to keep everyone safe. Same by the pools & water slides. Many theme restaurants to chose from, lots of breakfast and lunch locations. Overall a great experience. But what I mostly liked is the open air concept of all the restaurants, bars, lobby with local decoration and music. Not the stainless steel / AC kind of building (spaces) that you can find anywhere. Low buildings among trees, gorgeous pools, you hear the birds all the time, nice walks to some of the restaurants to get your legs moving after so much eating.

My favorite from all Decameron Hotels. The area is very nice, the beach is great, the pools are great. It never feels too full and there is enough space for everyone and activities for every age and preference. Our room was very spacious.

It can be ver loud and there is not even one calm corner to escape the noises. Check-in takes very long and we did not receive any information about the hotel, schedules etc. The air conditioning in the room is super loud and beds are not comfy.

Wonderful environment and scenery. The sunrise from the Pacific Ocean is marvellous. Excellent restaurants, food was unbelievable.. Wide variety of awesome drinks, cocktails.. There's also a mini-theatre, the performances were really cool. You can also find a small gym. This place had all we needed. I'm very happy with spending a vacation here.

Everything exceeded our expectations! The room was clean, quiet, with a view was of the ocean. Royal Decameron was able to fulfill our request for a room facing the ocean, which we had requested. The beach was clean and pristine. We took our early morning walks on the beach, which was very beautiful! The pools were clean and accommodating. There always seems to be enough room for everyone, no matter what you want to do. The staff are amazing, everywhere you go!

I can't think of anything I didn't like!

Everything was pleasant enough a few things need to be worked on. All and all it was a very enjoyable relaxing weekend

Not enough hot water...my husband has problems walking far, so the stairs were a big problem for him. Reservation phone line for the restaurants...not fair..never answer..not enough entertainment during the day hours...

Lovely staff, hardworking, food was good, the hotel needs updates, the balcony door was very hard to open, there were no drinks in the fridge, only one bottle of water to share.

The wifi is the worse I ever experienced, it's terrible... needed to sign in constantly and always drops off. It's so annoying.
