Round playa Blanca is a very nice place to come and stay and kick back and relax not much to do there but if you looking for a chill setting this will be the place

The food needs HELP Restaurants only 1 is good ( steak house ) Asian restaurant horrible ever thing they gave you was no good I would also say they need to take time when cleaning rooms and utensils used in food area plates still had food on them spoon and forks Was not clean people put there hands in ice area at the buffet I had to clean my room my self ( I’m ok with that ) if they take there time it would be better they need more safe that will interact with you to make the place more lively that way they give you more of a fill make you feel like they happy to have you they over price for some things but other than that it was good

Excellent personal, the animation team is amazing. Specialty restaurant are excellent and buffet is very good. Drinks are right enough. Room is housekeeping personal are great.

Only thing that is not in Riu fault is that beach has horse renting which makes the beach dirty and not really amazing.

This resort was so GREAT! We had a really good time. They had different restaurant options and drink options. The restaurants served very good food. Everyday someone would come and clean our room and provide fresh towels, restock the refrigerator, etc. I brought one of my own blankets with photos of me and my spouse, and each day they found a new way to fold it with our picture showing, place it on the bed on top of the comforter spread out, etc. I thought that was sweet. They had nightly entertainment, which was AMAZING. The pool areas were always nice and clean. When you walk down to the beach, there is several locals that offer Horseback rides. Most people complain about them, but if you take the time to just talk to them, they have incredible stories. They, just like everyone else, are trying to make a living. We met Julio Jose who owns many of the horses and provides rides. He was super sweet! The horses look skinny, but they are actually well taken care of. They make sure the horses stay near the water on the cooler sand and while they take you on your ride, they are very knowledgeable about the scenery and landmarks. Give them a chance! ScubaCaribe is right on the beach where you can paddle board, kayak, or snorkel for free. They also offer paid activities such as jet skis on the ocean. That was one of the highlights of our trip! Super fun and convenient. We chose the guided tour of Farallon Island on the jet skis.

Sometimes there was a 45minute to an hour wait for the restaurants. If you weren't eating at the buffet, you had to wait. Just like any normal restaurant in a busy area, though! The bar areas were difficult to get service. Even if there wasn't a lot of people, we seemed to get skipped over. The bathrooms at the pools could use a little extra cleaning.

I came here for my 30th birthday and the Riu Playa Blanca made it an amazing time! I will start with getting to the resort, coming from USA you have to fly into PYT(Panama City Airport) this is a 2 hour drive from the resort so keep that in mind when booking. Check in was fast and easy, they had even upgraded my room from a garden view to the beach view with a balcony, the room was clean and large enough where we could easily move around and had plenty of closet space for my bags. When we first got there the mini bar was empty but I put in a request through the app and it was there early the next morning. Let's move on to the food, everything I had tasted amazing, from the buffet to the specialty restaurants. Little tip the steakhouse has a buffet for lunch and its located beside the slides, its not in the actual hotel part. As far as the staff a lot of them went above and beyond to help with whatever we needed, there are a select FEW that you could tell were not okay with Americans and helped us after a long wait or didn't help at all.. Like I said these are VERY FEW, everyone else was amazing. Lets move on to the beach, depending on when you go the beach could look muddy but this is because of the mix of black sand on the beach, there are a few guys on horses riding around the front of the beach and they can be pushy, they do not work for the hotel. We tried turning them down at first and they are persistent but I will tell you that the ride is beautiful and they an take you to an amazing look out spot down the beach and its not very expensive but make sure you agree on the price before hand. We did our rides through Julio Jose there on the beach, this man can take some good photos with your phone! He also went out extra for us and got us some coconuts and mangos on our last day there. If you go ahead and do the ride at the beginning of the week they will leave you alone for the rest of the time.

I wish they had more selection of beer, maybe some imports would have been nice. The Balboa beer is okay just wasn't my favorite but it was free so can't complain too much on that.

My family enjoyed a very pleasant stay. The staff members were remarkably professional and kind (special thanks to Mr. José, who helped us on our arrival, and the restaurant staff members, especially Vianca and Capitana Ginny!!). Our room was big and had a great view. The room and the other hotel areas were always super clean. The musical show was extraordinary, with a different theme every night. The sound, coreography, variety, and skills of the dancers were fabulous. Congratulations to Arturo, Earl, and all the other dancers...They are world class!! The live music was also great! Of all food, I specially loved the ramen in the Asian restaurant. We really had fun. Thanks to all the Riu Family!!

They managed to help us out with proper food for our babies which I highly appreciate, New Year’s Eve dinner and party was really excellent. We had such a good time in family, we traveled 12 adults + kids

They didn’t manage to inform us that after check out we had until 2 pm to be at the hotel otherwise we should wait at the lobby. So they went to look for us. If we received the info we would follow those instructions. Anyway hotel is really good!!!!

The resort is beautiful. We had a family room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms like an apartment. It was big and super comfortable. The resort was so clean and looked new and modern. The entire staff was super attentive. The food was very good with lot of choices. I particularly enjoyed the sport bar. Especial thanks to Luber (Manager) and Abel both at the front desk. There was hicupp during check-in but they both made sure that everything was resolved. My son and his friend both 18 loved the resort. I highly recommend it.

The resort is located about 2 1/2 hrs from Panama City.

Fabulous property. Big rooms and unlimited drinks and food. There were buffets and you could even choose an Italian or Asian Restaurant. Wine came with dinner and the bars were open, some even 24 hours. Only downside was check-in was slow. Had to wait in our car 20 minutes to reach the front of the hotel.

Didn't like that we had to wait 20 minutes in the car to reach the front of the hotel. No one told us what was going on and it was frustrating. But once we got checked in it was a fabulous time. Nice beach...3 pools and unlimited food and drink.

We enjoyed our week stay in RIU. The room was good and very clean, ocean view is stunning. All the territory was clean and well maintained, good variety of food in the buffet. Especially want to highlight the pools and all the animation, the staff is doing their best to entertain the audience. I have never seen kayak racing in the infinity pool and this was very fun.

In some places hotel requires small touches, but that's not critical. Basically not much to write here as we really enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

All-inclusive was great! Pools were clean, staff was exceptional - friendly, helpful, and very hard working. Property is well taken care of Lots of fun activities available and many people seemed to enjoy the evening entertainment.

The AC in the gym was not on early in the morning, which made it very stuffy and super hot. It would be nice if a reasonable dress code was required, especially at breakfast buffet — barely covered g-strings and bathing suits are not appropriate attire in a dining area (and I’m not even that uptight!). No great options for toiletries. Laundry service is expensive. Bed was a little firm for my preference.
