Location great,comfortable clean room with good shower. Wonderful breakfast, good coffee and staff very friendly and helpful. Good sized swimming pool and the gym is sufficient but could do with a bit updating.

It is worth bearing in mind that this is a popular family hotel which can make it challenging for using the pool and sometimes noisy at nighttime.

Beautiful grounds! Don’t miss the Llamas 🦙 on the backyard of the hotel. Service was SUPER excellent!! Very very attentive staff ( Jose and all staff) we got to the hotel with my mom who walks with a cane and Jose ( from paprika restaurant) approached to us and offered a wheelchair so my mom can be more comfortable ( we did not ask him. It was his own idea ) and brought the wheelchair. Since the moment we arrived the staff was very service oriented and seeing that we get the best during our stay. We have stayed at Costa del Sol- el golf several times and every time was awesome! and we will continue coming here when we are visiting trujillo. Highly recommended!

On the outskirts of town, just off the PanAmericana, this hotel was super convenient for us as it meant we had no need to go into town after a long day on the road. It has very well kept grounds and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the welcome drink (a Pisco Sour or something soft) There is a secure carpark to the rear of the building. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was good, and I must mention the restaurant manager who, I think, aware that we were kept waiting initially, looked after us well. Breakfast was a decent buffet.

The staff in the bar seemed a bit unsure of what they should be doing, and we waited a long time to get any drinks, and only got some after I went up to the bar. Getting a bottle of wine to our table took forever. In the restaurant we stood there like lemons waiting for some attention from the staff. Why did they think we'd wandered in?

We have stayed at other Costa del Sol hotels over the years and always satisfied but the Trujillo one is just exceptional. Terrific, helpful staff starting with Maria during check-in who speaks excellent English to Giuseppe and José at breakfast to Patricia our cleaning lady who brings sunshine into your room. We were there for 11 days and enjoyed every one. Nice queen bed, great breakfast and all around good, professional service. Plus secure on site parking.

The toilet water kept running after flushing which is a waste.

There were no negative points about the property except maybe for being a bit expensive but the again you do get the service. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous!

The only downside is that you have to take a taxi to get anywhere. It is about 20 minutes ride from the plaza de armas. The other downside is that you pay more going into town than you do going to the hotel from the town.

It was so impressive first, large swimming pool was placed in the mid of central yard. Visitors can get a energy during relaxation on the pool area. Gym in the hotel was comfortable to exercise. Above all, the environment around the hotel was good as the natural large backyard with green grass, sculptures and tall trees.

There was water in the middle corridor of the room, but it was not cleaned on time.

The staff is very nice and the pool was a great plus, the spa was also a nice bonus with fair prices

The shower was not good with a not strong power of water, the breakfast was good if you arrive early, but for the days when you arrive after 9h the buffet was missing a load of itens

The room is big and spacious and clean too.

The hotel location is a little far from town - Plaza de Armas. Hence there is nothing much to do around the hotel vicinity.
