This is my 2nd time staying at Monarch and I had a better experience this time - 1st time was already good so I went back. I had requested for a room away from noise because I needed to work for part of my stay. I've been assigned a room on the 4F and also one that is away from the lift. That's appreciated. The room is clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Lot of options for breakfast. Went for the dinner buffet on Friday and was happy we did. Enjoyed the Filipino food especially the vegetables, street food like kikiam and fishball, balut, green mangoes, local dessert, etc. The gym have plenty of equipment. The pool is also nice. It was almost ours maybe because it was drizzling when we decided to go for a swim.

This was our third stay at Monarch Hotel, and we will also choose Monarch next time we are in Pangasinan. The location is very central with easy access to the main locations in the area and with the Robinson Mall right across the street you have easy access to shopping, hairdresser, supermarket etc. Sam, Tiong, Angeline, Tin, Esco, Myles and probably a few more we forgot are all absolutely fantastic in making sure that our stays are super comfortable. We will always come back to Monarch.

I am always a little saddened to experierence that basically all hotels in the Philippines are built withput proper scope drain to keep the bricks and mortar completely dry - in a country, where there is a rain season - providing a remote but still distinct smeel of mold. It is beyond my comprehension. Its does not change the fact, that it is a great hotel and with beuatiful buildings.

My stay at the Monarch Hotel was truly exceptional! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail were unmatched. The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant interiors and a relaxing ambiance. My room was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed for a perfect stay. The dining experience was equally impressive—delicious food with excellent service. Monarch Hotel is a gem that combines top-notch facilities with outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. - Park Valet is free which is a plus. - Large parking spaces for everyone but first come first served. - Club lounge perk is an awesome experience with such hospitable and accommodating staff and sumptuous chef's specials selections. - Room staff are great, fast and reliable. - The room was above expectation.

- Buffet breakfast was average, binalonan longganisa is not good, replace it with alaminos; no sunny side up egg; maybe add lugaw or arroz. - Though parking spaces are large, not enough parking spaces for pwd, pregnant et al. - The room's bed sheets and cover could have smelled more cleaner.

We stayed for a week and loved it! The hotel is very clean with good and well maintained amenities. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful and we can't fault them.

While the breakfast menu is great, it could have included more selection of fruits. It is also helpful if a drinks menu is available as we were initially wondering if the hotel serves freshly made juice instead of the powder ones served in the buffet spread. The hotel staff are great in letting us know what other drinks are served though!

Stunning hotel and rooms, we really enjoy our stay. The good thing is that kids until 12 can stay for free and breakfast is included for them also. The service was amazing, everybody was so welcoming and helpful! The breakfast is good and oriented mostly toward Philippinos but I still can find something to eat and every day is different which we enjoy also. We also had dinner buffet once and enjoyed also, although mostly pork.

Nowhere to dry our swimsuits, no balcony no dryer only paid laundry services and we stayed for 3 days it wasn't an option every time to pay. You can get an idea from Astoria Palawan - they installed dryers for free in the lobby for drying swimsuits

The rooms are clean and appreciate that my request to have connecting rooms were accommodated. The staff were nice and very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommended hotel in the area. The location is superb as well.

Breakfast on our first day was too crowded. Probably they didn't anticipate the number of the guests who are checked in. We have to wait for an hour so we can have our breakfast. Food should have been more choices too.

Lovely building, swimming pool, and breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff who always wanted to help. Nice room and would have rated highly in most countries worldwide.

Poor soundproofing. We could hear people in the corridor and next room as if they were inside ours. It's a significant issue and one of the worst soundproofing issues that I have found in the hundreds of hotels that I've used.

Breakfast was good. The soup option could be better though. Some were bland and one i don't really know how to explain the taste. Staff were excellent especially the dining room ones. Our request for a bucket of ice and ice water every evening was delivered. Will definitely stay there again next time!

Soup option at breakfast could be better. Pasta was dissapointing. Fish taco had too much sauce on it should be on the side. Taco salad was drenched with sauce that the vegetables got soggy.

We appreciate the politeness of the staffs especially those at the Cristoforo. The food was good - authentic Filipino food. The restaurant staffs were attentive - refilling our glass everytime and asking if we need a high chair for our little one. We liked the pool. Our LO enjoyed dipping. The hotel location is perfect. There's a nearby shopping mall - not a big one for shopping but enough for strolling. The hotel, in general, is a nice-looking hotel, both inside and outside.

It would have been better if there's a dress code policy in the restaurant like in most hotels where slippers, pyjamas, tank tops and shorts are not allowed at the restaurant. The furnishing of the hotel rooms does not look like they're made of high quality materials. The table/s are not made of hardwood. The bed is made of metal - would have been more luxurious if it's made of wood. The bidet is leaking. The shower head can already be replaced or maybe needs deep cleaning.
