This place is for anyone who wants to get away. Having a beach to yourself where you lie under the palm trees and enter full recharge mode comes at a high premium almost anywhere. Here you get that luxury at a discount rate. The rooms are basic but contain all you need. If you get claustrophobic without WiFi you can connect via starlink for 5 pesos close by. They serve good food and cold beverages. The kids took surfing lessons, we took a boat ride to the nearby Mamon island but were able to time it so that all the boats from Siargao had left to go back. we had the beautiful white sand beach to ourselves, only to go back to Anajawan and kept on having their white sand beaches to ourselves. Visiting Anajawan for five days was the absolute highlight of our two week trip to the Philippines.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here! We booked the place as it seemed like a chill way to cap off our Siargao trip - one of the best decisions ever. The simple and self-sustaining way of living in Anajawan is just amazing. I’m running out of positive words for David and his family - they are one of the best hosts I ever encountered. The kids took us to the other side of the island to catch the picturesque sunset the island offers. We got to work out at the best gym ever. David and his wife cook the best meals with the ingredients they grow on their own; the kids are also helpful as we see them prepare and serve the food and drinks. The sea, with its beautiful corals and plenty fishes, waved right in front of us waiting for us. David took us even farther out to catch a glimpse of the wonderful underwater forest. He even taught me how to swim and float, and saved my life couple of times! After swimming or walking around, you can just take a nap in any of the hammocks under the coconut trees. The experience was superb. The atmosphere was simply homey. Thank you soooo much again! Will definitely return to your wonderful home, Perry family ❤️

David made all arrangements for boat pick up. An hour long boat ride through crystall clear water. Saw flying fish on way in and a turtle on way out. We were greeted on arrival by david the owner. An ausie, havent met an ausie i didnt like, he was great. One of the best and quietest beaches in siargao. Very small place, it was fully booked and only around a dozen people.had a great time getting to know other guests and having a beer with them. You had your own private beach everyday. We came to relax and do nothing, this was perfect. A special thanks to dylan who kept our 7 year old busy and happy the whole time. David has the best playlist going throughout the day. I watched the sunrise from my bed everymorning. Great way to start the day.

The island is secluded (1 hour boat ride from Siargao) and paradisiacal. David and his family are wonderful hosts. Always available while respecting your privacy. He is very open to requests and involved in you having a good time. We didn't want for nothing in terms of food, drinks or activities in the 3 days we spent there. There are small waves you can surf. David provided snorkels, surf and paddle boards. There was electricity, water with good pressure and satellite internet 24/7. Do not expect luxury or variety. This is the only lodging and dining option in the island. The rooms and amenities are VERY basic with no kitchen but clean and comfortable.

Fantastic location with great hosts. We enjoyed the peace and the calmness on Anajawan island. Beach right in front of you - can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Food is available upon request. It is freshly made. David can arrange for boats/trips/surfboards or any other things.

Nights can be very warm but fans are available. Electricity only for a couple hours a day but that did not bother us (just means that the fans don’t go all night).

Think of Robinson Crusoe island with no roads or vehicles and you’re the only tourists there , with solar power electric supply . Dave the owner will arrange a local island boat to take you to the island at a very competitive price. Internet connection is available for very cheap rates and mobile signal is available on the other side of the island less than 10mins walk away. Dave the owner and his wife do their best to keep the place going and make improvements. Just remember this is an eco holiday with solar power and no other foreigners and tourists so it’s could be a complete digital detox if you want - I paid for the excellent local WiFi just to keep in touch with family and check weather. The solar power system keeps the effective fan going and power for your equipment and phones. Hammocks are plentiful but I would prefer more sunbeds and more comfortable patio furniture for us older folk. If I were the owner I would take out the extra beds if not needed and put the rooms settee to lenjoy the view of the beach through the patio doors and add a coffee table. We enjoyed our short stay and wish Dave , wife and family great success as they seek to expand their accommodation and facilities.

David and joannie are lovely hosts that make you feel at home. The place is secluded ,you have the beach to yourself. Great for relaxing, reading, swimming or a little walk around the island with their kids. Locals are friendly. The food was allright and resonably priced. There is always a cold beer. Rooms are spacious with seaview and basic facilities, which is actualy al you need. There are hammocks under the trees to enjoy. I had a great time there. My kids are already grownups but it's a great and safe place to bring your children, the sea acces is easy, sandy and shalow. Lot's of children around to play with.

Nothing. You will be picked up by a private boat. The communication about that is very clear. There is some costs involved but it is really worth the experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anajawan Island Beachfront Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. This charming resort is located on a very small island, which adds to its unique and intimate vibe. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners, whose hospitality truly made our stay special. Their friendly and attentive service ensured that we felt right at home throughout our visit. The resort itself exudes a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beachfront location provided stunning views and easy access to the crystal-clear waters, making it an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. One of the best tips we received from the owner was about arranging transportation to the island. Initially, we tried to arrange the boat ourselves, but the owner suggested letting them handle it. This turned out to be much cheaper and easier, making our travel experience smoother and more enjoyable.

A place like you don't see anymore. Simple but comfortable cottage right in front of the beach. We spent 8 nights with our 2 kids and enjoyed every minute of it. Just doing nothing, listening to the waves, reading, wandering in the lovely village closeby, swimming, playing with the locals kids and their beautiful smile...David is a lovely character full of stories, his wife Joannie is the cook and manage to realize good dishes despite the challenge of being in a remote island (they make their own bread for instance)...Their 3 kids are also part of the daily life. They are so kind and attentive. It was such a privilege to spend a week like this. Thank you David, Joannie, Dylan, Chloe and Noveline + Luigi the clown.

People who complains because there is no shops, no bars, no permanent wifi :)

Nice spot at the end of the village. Very quiet and clean. The rooms are very spacious and can accomodate up to 4 people. The property owners managed to provide us transportation at the cheapest cost available and it was really nice of them helping us with the boat. Also food was at a very reasonable price and we really appreciate they didn't charge us too much for eating and drinking at the place. It was nice to spend time with their family, kids and the other guests. In the place there are a lot of cute dogs and pigs.

The only thing that could be improved a little bit is the food, but maybe we weren't lucky. For the rest all good.
