We had an amazing one week stay at Max and his wife’s homestay. They are incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, they gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. It truly felt like a home away from home. The room was super comfortable. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly and cooled the room down in no time, and everything was clean and well maintained. There’s also a laundry service available for just 200 pesos for 5 kilos, such a great deal! Our room was cleaned twice during the week, including fresh sheets and towels, which was a lovely surprise. There’s a shared kitchen available too we didn’t use it, but it looked very clean and well equipped. The location is also perfect, just a 5-minute scooter ride from the center of General Luna, yet peaceful and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Everything was just right, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Siargao!

Max and Danielle were truly some of the best hosts we have ever had. Always responsive, great suggestions on where to eat and things to do, how to book certain things and just absolute gems all around. Your room gets cleaned often, which was so nice since we were there for two weeks. Laundry was super affordable. The room is great, exactly as pictured and everything works well. I can't recommend it enough! Thank you both so much for our time.

Had a lovely stay at Siesta. The location is very accommodating, short walk to the main area where are plenty restaurants and bars. The room was specious, the bed was very comfortable, loved the pillows. There was AC in the room, laundry service available, you can use the kitchen and the living area as well, a lot of fun board games were available. I loved the cat Lucy!

Only thing which I found confusing were the trash bins in the room, I wasn’t sure should I ask someone to empty the bins because they weren’t emptied for a couple of days.

We loved everything. Max was so welcoming and gave us some great suggestions of places to visit! The room was clean, spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Having the use of the kitchen was so handy, especially after 4 months of backpacking and eating out, it was so nice to cook our own meals for a change! If you're in Siargao I'd 100% recommend staying here, it's like a home away from home! Thank you so much!

We loved everything!

the guest house crew was really welcoming and nice, the house it self and the room was clean wide and comfortable. kitchen with free coffee and tea, fridge and fully equipped. good vibes and great location! not in the touristic and expensive part of the general luna but 10 minutes walk, and let you see more of the local central area. thank you for the stay my friends!

the only thing that was a bit odd I'm ls the smell of the water in the shower.. probably because of the heater that made out of plastic.. except of that everything was great

Dani and Max were fantastic, so helpful and accommodating. Cannot recommend them and their place enough. Is exactly as shown in the photos. Quiet at night (no roosters or barking dogs which is a bonus in the Philippines). Location is excellent, short walks to the beach, lovely cafes and restaurants. A short ride to cloud 9.

Nothing. In fact, we both wished we had stayed longer than originally planned. Siargao, Dani and Max have been our favourite trip so far (currently in the middle of a 9 month stint covering south east Asia and South America).

Property was amazing! Don’t be put of by little reviews they have only just opened. Everything is brand new and clean the beds are so comfortable, it has a fully equipped communal kitchen, communal water upstairs and downstairs. In a Quiet area, 3 min ride to the centre of general Lunas bars, clubs and restaurants. Lovely hot showers with great water pressure 😍. Max and Dani really make you feel at home and go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Great value for money! If we return to Siargao we will be back!

Wonderful homestay in the "old town" of General Luna. This place saved me after 2 nightmare AirBnbs, and I couldn't have been more grateful. The beds are so cozy, it feels like you're really at home. The owners are so sweet and make sure you have everything you need. There is a shared kitchen which really comes in handy. Wifi, Aircon, and hot water all worked great.

The water smell didn't affect the water's cleanliness or taste, it was a minor inconvenience during our stay. We did some research and found that the odor was likely due to the local water source or the plumbing system, as it's not uncommon in certain regions. The accommodation management was aware of the issue and provided us with a helpful workaround. They offered complimentary bottled water for drinking and cooking, which eased our concerns. Despite this minor inconvenience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. The staff's proactive approach in addressing the water issue and the overall positive aspects of the property made it a worthwhile experience.

Amazing stay at Siesta Siargao and would recommend 100%. I stayed for 10 days! Location was fantastic and conveniently close to some restaurants, grocery stores and walking distance to the public market for fresh items if you plan on cooking. Max and Dani were great host that had answers for any questions I had, immaculate clean property, privacy, AC kept the room very comfortable, has a TV with access to link your Netflix, Prime, etc accounts and always had a restful nights sleep!
