What breakfast? There was no breakfast served…onlly brewed coffee which I appreciated though. I would’ve loved it better for the hotel to provide breakfast options and to have room options for small families or groups (Ex. 3-5 pax). Like I would personally want to bring my kids (#3) to Siargao and stay again in Palaka and it would be more fun and cheaper for us to stay in one but bigger room…

Well, we had quite a recurring problem with our main door to the room…it was defective. We even got locked out once…Each room should also ideally be provided with umbrellas for the guests which they are accountable for at the end of their stay…we got drenched in the rain during most part of our stay in Siargao…it was continuously raining…an umbrella would have been a big help/convenience for the guests…Also, I would’ve loved that you provide better quality of pillows (not the cheap ones) and towels (thicker/fluffier) for the guests. Just saying…

The whole place was simple as the pictures but lovely. The room was very comfortable and spacious, everything was very clean and they cleaned the room everyday. The staff were very nice and helpful all the time.

The only thing I may say was that we booked a van to pick us up from the airport, and they never arrived nor contact us. There’s plenty of tuk tuk or taxis so luckily we didn’t struggle to get there. For the van to drop us off to the airport, the driver took one hour to pick people that were literally next and in front of our hotel, gladly the airport is so tiny that we could just check in in 30min, but we didn’t experience a good transport service from them.

The place is stunning - little jungle in the heart of Siargao. Room was spacious, it was great to have the fridge and the aircon was the quietest compared to any other places we visited in the Philippines. The girls from the reception were helpful and quick to help out with any queries in person or via WhatsApp.

The pool was often occupied by divers - sometimes all day, until as late as 5pm. We also encountered a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom which wasn’t a surprise as the island is literally a rainforest and they were escaping the rain - the hotel staff were quick to use products to deal with them. Not much of problem for me, but it might freak out many.

I like the location of this property. Everything is a stone’s throw away, that includes shops, restaurants, ATMs, and of course the night life. Hubby and I did a lot of walking at night exploring the streets. I also appreciate the fact that there is a security guy at night making sure guests are safe. They will help you book for your transport to and from the resort if you have not booked yet, same with the tours.

I wished there was a television set for the downtimes that we chose to stay in our room. I was told the owner did not really intend to put one. Maybe in the future, you can also offer breakfasts since you guys have a very nice common place.

the resort was within reach on all restaurants and important stores you will need in your vacation. its like a hostel but with much more class and warmth and relaxed atmosphere, they have a main space where in you can hve a coffee, cook or even just work for the whole day. nice 10 inches hotel bed and very soft pillows.

its not that i didnt like it but they dont have a television, but who would want to watch tv when your in an island as beautiful as siargao. we had a problem about there security on duty about visitors but, it was resolved properly and they even went over in making up for the issue we had. kudos to the management to that.

Excellent location close to many restaurants/cafes in general Luna and less than a 10 minute drive to cloud 9. I’m a light sleeper but I didn’t have any issues with noise from nearby restaurants or bars. The staff were exceptional from the moment we walked in, very friendly and helpful. We liked the fact there was only 8 rooms in the resort and there was a common room where you could eat your food or make a coffee. The room itself was great, the bed was very comfortable. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.

Boutique style hotel located in the hub of the bars and resturants but tucked away in a tropical garden setting with a lovely pool. Only 7 rooms with an open style reception, kitchen, lounge area for guests use. Super friendly, helpful, happy staff who spoke fantastic english and were a great help organising transfers and activities. Very secure with 24 hour security.

Pool was looking a little bit tired and could have done with a repaint.

We loved the location - hidden away from plain sight, yet right on the main road. Very walkable to food and easy to catch a tricycle to travel deeper into town. The staff is amazing! Being a smaller resort, we received great care and attention throughout our stay. Angel and Lyn were the some of the most welcoming office staff we’ve ever experienced. They helped us arrange airport transportation, recommended tours, trusted surfing instructors, and lots of daily food and party recommendations. Nikki, Gemma, and Karen were also very helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. And despite being a low key spot, the guard Arnie was around after hours to make sure we got in and out of the property easily after a late night. The rooms themselves are perfect for a couple. Just the right size with ample storage and a large bathroom. Easy access to power outlets, lighting, and AC. Since it is a beach town, you should expect a little sand to make its way into the room, but the staff will tidy up daily. The resort itself features a very pretty pool and surrounding gardens with soft grass and fun sand paths that lead to each room. There is also the main lobby/common room which serves as a great place to lounge and work. Plus there is a full kitchen for all guests to use it should they feel the need to cook or heat up leftovers.

The Wi-Fi was probably the only real negative feedback I’d have. I know not expect very high speeds in Siargao, however the actual connectivity was very spotty in the room and the lobby, so handling remote work wasn’t always reliable. Maybe adding boosters or a switching to a mesh network would help? Since there are a lot of water activities around, it would be nice to have additional hanging hooks in the bathroom to accommodate drying. There is a great drying rack by the pool, but we happened to be staying during a rainy week in Siargao. Additional storage in the bathroom would also be a great upgrade

Love how serene the place is. The facade was a bit sketchy but the moment we went inside it was like a paradise. Perfectly designed villas and the pool as well. Everything was perfect. Also, the location is the best. Literally surrounded with restaurants, cafe, stores and bars which was the best. And the hospitality of the staffs. Greeted us with smiles and very accommodating. We came in a bit early and they did their best to check us in. All the staff are great but Ate Langlang did a great job with everything. already arranged pickup and drop off even before I ask. Helped us the tours. Made sure we were comfortable. Thanks to Ate Nikki as well for taking a good photos for me and my friend haha Palaka Resort exceeded my expectation!! Will definitely recommend and will go back for sure.

Great position, staff very friendly, resort is linked with the dive centre and they helped with my dive course and with the rental of the motorbike, everything made very seamless.

Unfortunately the Island suffered a power outage for long time while I was there, at the resort they have been as helpful as they could and very communicating, however, couldn't use the pool, aircon and shower was cold and, at times, when the generator had to be refilled, water wasn't working at all
