Great location. Close to many restaurants and on the beach. Rooms are nice.

Their pool needs some updating. Looks more like a small watering hole than a real pool. The blasting music I and other guests had to deal with one of the nights from the neighbor hotel. Could literally hear the base rumbling inside the rooms till around 11pm. Not the hotels fault . But the neighbor hotel are complete jerks.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at the Happiness Resort, one that far exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The staff greeted us with such warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home. They were always there when we needed them, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we could possibly need. The service was truly outstanding—by far the best I’ve ever experienced. The hotel room was simply perfect—beautifully designed in a modern style, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could have asked for, including a kettle, hairdryer, quiet air conditioning, water dispensers in the hallway, and umbrellas. The resort itself offered so many wonderful amenities, and we truly appreciated the stunning surroundings and tranquil atmosphere. We especially loved watching the sunrise at the beach bar, enjoying the pool with its ocean view, savoring delicious food and drinks at the beach bar, dining at the Goodies Restaurant, and trying out the food truck. Every moment felt special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back for another amazing vacation!

All the staff was absolutely amazing - always happy, kind and so helpful! The room was clean and had everything I needed. The room was made up every day, there is a few cafes in front of the hotel and also a travel agency where you can book your trips! I really loved my stay there and was so happy to be there. The staff made my stay very special!

The only bad thing was the loud noise from parties nearby, however the staff would send a whatsapp message in advance so that it never came as a surprise and I could either stay out late or put in my earplugs. And you can‘t swim at the beach in front of the hotel.

The staff is unbelievable friendly. We feel like home away from home. Everybody is soooooo helpful and kind. Our son is crying toooo much when we left. The restaurant ( goodies ) is outstanding and probably the best on this island. Strongly recommended! I have read that in other comments, that it is very loud in the evenings because of party. We traveled with our three yrs old son and it was wonderfull and not noisy. We do not understood those negative comments. For us this hotel is fantasic !

We loved out stay at Happiness Beach Resort. We’re travelling with our 10 months old son and everything was just perfect. The staff were sweet and fixed all our requests with ones. Nice and spacious room, clean bathroom. The beach bar was great to hang out at, and the pool was perfect to cool down and play a little with our son. A short tricycle/tuktuk/motorbike ride away from both the beach at Cloud 9 and into the more busy street in the opposite direction. They also give you discount on the food at 4 foodplaces next to the resort. We stayed for 10 nights in total.

The only little thing that we had some issues with was the temperature of the water in the shower. It was either cold or super hot. For us not a big problem, but for our 10 months old son it wasn’t ideal. The staff tried to fix it but it stayed the same. But this is definitely not a big issue.

As longtime hostel users, we really appreciated the value for money at this place. It’s definitely not a luxurious stay, but it has all the essentials for a comfortable experience. We loved the privacy, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, and ample storage, plus the pool area was a great bonus. The location is also super convenient—just a short walk to town, with scooters always available outside for a quick ride into General Luna or Cloud 9.

Room was spacious, clean and very pretty. The balcony was great so we could hang clothes out for drying. They give you a discount for your meals at the restaurants they have and the good selection was great. The vibe was very chilled and the staff are very nice.

Nothing that I didn’t like but as suggestion it would be great to have some sort of broom in the room so you can swipe the sand you end up bringing with your shoes.

We loved that the ocean, the bar, the pool, the massage room, the restaurant/café/gift shop, the food truck and the main office were all within seconds of our front door. Another nice feature is that the structures are made of concrete so that one can move quietly in the rooms at morning and night. The lush vegetation mixed with the chic island interior/exterior design makes Happiness a really comfortable and cool place to be. We also loved the mixed-use space by the beach bar (yoga studio, movie theater, dance floor, general seating area). Additionally, access to the Happiness Hostel bar and restaurant across the street made for a nice option after we’d spent all week on the beach side. Finally, the property is located on the edge of the busiest stretch of General Luna’s tourism area, meaning you are at once in the middle of it all but off of center so it feels a little more peaceful.

I could remark about how the some aspects of the property are not “world-class,” but I don’t go to the Philippines to feel like I’m in New York or LA, so I have no complaints; indeed, the small imperfections made us feel more comfortable, encouraged us to extend our lives outside of our private rooms, and to feel relaxed enjoying the entire premises as if it were our own.

The property is located in one of the coolest area of the island. Where you can find all the facilities, restaurants (international and Filipinos) and shops. You can rent a motorcycle from the resort and go basically everywhere. If you surf or you love the surf vibe this is the perfect choice. The hotel is just 10 min from cloud9. The property is really cool! They also organized yoga lessen every day. All the rooms are really clean and the stuff is super friendly and professional. What I loved the most is the atmosphere either in the hotel than the street!

From the moment I stepped my foot at happiness beach resort I knew I wouldn't want to leave! Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. The beach bar has amazing view and ambience. Food and drinks are of very good quality and it was nice to see the faces of the bar staff every day :) Also, we had breakfast every day at goodies restaurant and although we would like a better variety at the breakfast menu, the quality was good and all the dishes were very tasty. Many thanks to Genri for his kindness and smile :) A highlight of our stay was the signature massage of Hamsi, that was the best massage I ever had! I had it twice and all the people from our group had it as well and were all super satisfied, so make sure not to miss it! On the way to the airport and already miss it , I really wish to go back one day!
