We liked the tranquility and cozy atmosphere at this guesthouse with a nice Infinity-Pool. Since it was not fully booked it is really quiet. One only hear the sound of the birds and nature and the early morning greeting Rooster's crowing (but still from far). We also liked their food from their small Restaurant. The room is big, also the bathroom with rain shower. We also liked the friendly staff members Jessica, Irin, Jorjie and Gerome.

There was no electric fan or ceiling fan in the room, so we need to open the AC (a bit on the louder side) since our room (New Pool view Villa), is getting a bit hot in the afternoon. We also missed a Towels/Cloth rack outside for drying. It is not a big deal for us, but would be a Bonus for guests. Wi-Fi was a bit slow inside our room.

Good location, great food, honestly the most normal and best beef burgar I've eaten in the philippine so far, a lot of middle eastern food for those who like the kitchen, the room we stayed was big and very accomdating while the staff was extremely helpful. The pool is large and deep for those who like swimming and the view outside the villa itself is amazing, overall I would highly recommend this place to stay in Siargao for those who are looking to relax, and even just to dine at their restaurants, as they have a reasonable price for every item on the menu.

Due to the rain the wi fi can sometime go bad, which is not the place fault but something that I would point as a fault would be the hot water, sometimes the water in the shower is cold to lukewarm but never hot, it didn't bother us as much but it's worth pointing out

The property has a very nice feel, the backdrop of nature with the pool is perfect for relaxing

The room has high humidity . The faucet in the bathroom is just difficult to manage. The provision of toiletries doesn’t meet the standards of the hotel. Should be better to use dispensers attached near the shower.

Loved our stay at Villa Maya. It was relaxing and peaceful, had a great pool to sit by. Was good that you could eat there and didnt have to leave if you didnt want to. We loved the view and being able to play golf was awesome. Its a good technical little course. Rose who works at the front desk was absolutely amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She is an asset. The Filipino guy (can't remember his name unfortunately, maybe Deibe) who works there too is a really hard worker also, ran down in the rain to get our bags and hold an umbrella above us and kept the grounds immaculate. We will go back for another stay for sure.

Absolutely loved the place. The staff there is amazing especially Richelle, Ericka and Dave. They go above and beyond every time. You walk out of your room 10 times a day and they will greet you every single time and when you come back to the villa they offer you cold water. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the villa. Location is a little far from the main hub (which I didn't mind) as it was nice and quiet and only a 10 min ride to the party places and a 5 min ride to surfing place. Food is amazing as well.

Please upgrade your wifi. I saw a lot of similar review before booking the villa that the wifi is quite average and actually it was. As for someone who is working remotely they might not book this amazing place just because of the average wifi.

The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. They made reservations for 2 motor bikes and delivered to the Villa and picked up when we departed. The par 3 golf course was great to practice your short game they even had clubs to use and it was at no cost, it was enjoyable but be prepared for the hot days. All the food we ordered from the menu was great.

I can only say the pool was great to relaxed in but the water was very warm due to the sun beating down all down long. All in all it was still great to swim in and enjoyable.

A gorgeous 5 Room Villa tucked up off the main road , The place was so relaxing and Staff were amazing couldnt do enough for us ! Pool was perfect for a relaxing swim looking out to golf course and garden! Small restaurant with great breakfast and food for lunch or dinner was always delicious ! Would definitely return if we come back to Siargao

I have been in the Accommodation industry for over 25 years now myself so I like to be honest and anything I say is constructive criticism and not harmful to the resort Yes A/C was unusual the power is slow running so it kicks in and out I don't know the solution but the owners are on to it but really did it effect us? No!! Wi Fi well anywhere in the world can be up and down so I use data and then I still had problems haha Wardrobe? I use chairs Clothes rack? I use balcony Biggest negative LEAVING

Stayed in a huge room stepping onto the pool. stunning views overlooking small but perfectly manicured golf course. and on to the sea. would recommend renting a scooter as it’s a bit of a way to beach and action. Do Dong at reception helped with this (400p per day and bike was fine) Special thanks to George for his help with ideas of places to visit on the island.. .. he also has a wicked swing and an hour round the course with him introduced my partner to the game and reignited my frustration in playing it. Wilbert our caddy deserves a mention here too . very nice man. would recommend if budget suits

These are more suggestions than complaints and would take little effort and minimal cost. firstly the welcome at reception lacked any warmth or charm and that remained consistent throughout our stay.. some customer service training here would help .. salvaged by George who was great how about some complimentary tea and coffee in the room for us early risers? you’ve already invested in a kettle!! our room wasn’t refreshed during our stay. I didn’t ask as I would expect this to be done without having to. This is just not acceptable for a classy resort despite seeming to be the norm in the Philippines

Lovely place with a nice pool and great rooms. They serve really delicious food (our favs: Chicken Burger, Shawarma Wraps and the Shakshuka for breakfast!). They also have good cocktails. The staff is great and the owner is good hearted and friendly. They will try everything to make your stay 10/10. It's possible to rent scooters and organize trips right at the reception. Thank you for a really good time. We enjoyed every minute!
