Henry was the best host! We had wonderful meals, a comfortable room, and the privacy of being the only guests for several days... This was probably the most relaxing and value packed stay of our lifetime. I stayed at bigger, better, more elaborate accommodations, but Baywalk and Henry made this trip very special for us. It's not really anything we didn't like. It's remote and not what you may think of as a tourist hotspot. If you want lights, action, walking the streets, going out? Don't go here. If you want beautiful flowers, private accommodations, and a great staff who stays out of the way while providing economical luxury and great food....? Baywalk might be the retreat you're looking for to connect or reconnect with a special someone... Thanks again, Henry

The property is a cosy estate right in front of the lake, where the road ends. It was full of flowers, and very relaxing. The owner and the staff are very helpful, and the communication before and during the stay was perfect. The owner is also an excellent cook: not only the breakfast is very good, but we suggest to try the other dishes, for lunch or dinner. The room is small, with a comfortable bed and a nice veranda. The aarea is quiet, and the only noises during the night are tree gekos and roosters (who insist keeping track of time every hour, who knows why).

One can hear the other guests through the walls. If they are polite and quiet, like in our case, it isn't a problem, but it's worth a mention. Other issues we had during our stay came from the recent typhoon (not even two months before our stay around Christmas 2024), that hit the area quite badly, with extensive damages to roads and other infrastructures (including the two bridgest to the nearby town). For this reason, we had to stay in the property one day: after a night of extremely heavy rain, the road was a pond, and our rental sedan couldn't drive in it for several hours. Things are getting better, and now everything seems to work, getting better every week.

This place was so peaceful you'd want to gatekeep it to yourself, is something we thought after celebrating my partner's birthday.. The lodging was neat and prepared for the stay. The view when from inside the room, when you get out is perfect with the place decors and setting with the view of the lake and volcano. The sofa near the room and pool was soothing to relax as the wind blows very fresh all the time. View from their eatery is stunning as well, served with fresh food and ingredients and was cooked with more than our expectations. We even saw them bring in fresh fish from the lake. Everything was refreshing and calming, just like the beautiful lake. The room and their place is perfect for doing WFH when its peace and quite place is ample in space. You can also get around the baywalk and explore a bit nearby for a good stretch and views. This also gave us perfect opportunity to use our old digicam and tripod for the added experience and memories to keep. The owner gave very interesting talk about the place the area and the whats next to do if we ever get the chance to do, the local tips are really great, much thanks to Sir Rey! much appreciated stay! also bring your own slippers we were lucky they lent us so we could explore with ease hihi.

Cozy room in a small quaint resort (three rooms only) on the far end of Laurel facing the Taal volcano island. Not much to do around besides relaxing - Tagaytay is far and unless you have your own vehicle (unlike us) expect to pay and spend a lot of time to get to the town - but the host is really friendly and provides activities for those who don't want to sit idle. Decent, and again really quiet and lazy, place to spend a day or two otherwise.

Only issue is the shower had no hot water and the room nearest the swimming pool, sink was leaking heavily.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food was great and had a very good presentation too. The location is good for relaxation and for appreciating the beauty of the Taal Volcano. The set up is more of nature, it was inspired by the concept of MAF hotels. The owner must be really amazing. 😊 I really appreciate this property as it has personal touches from check in to check out. Kuya Nestor gave us free Indian mangoes which I gave to my family members when I got home. Thank you for sharing with us the beauty of Tagaytay-Batangas part of the Philippines. Nothing really much if we had known the reason of the maximum time for check in. It was my bad though. Lol.

The "hotel" is someone's home, currently renting out three rooms. As such, it felt like home. The views of the lake and volcano island were superb, and there were comfortable seating to just relax or hang out. The breakfast (an additional charge) was quite good. Ray arranged for us to ride a boat to the volcano island, which was a unique experience. It's near Tagaytay and the town of Taal, where we went to tour a historical house and the 16th century church. So there are many little excursions to do. My advice is to stay at least two nights. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to do that, but we still enjoyed it. There was plenty of parking, and the vibe was really relaxed.

The rooms were a bit small for two people. I had suggested to Ray that the rooms need more "spread out" space and to remove most of the plants in the room (perhaps that would help). Because the rooms were small, I wonder if the cost could be lowered a little to compensate. And also manage guests' expectations about the room size.

This is a really nice place in overall: It has an amazing view to the lake Taal and the volcano. The area around is really quiet and safe. Mr Rey, the owner of the place is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. He took me to the hospital when I needed it and was very helpful with many other things. He is a genuine, good man. What's more, the food and coffee that he prepares are absolutely amazing. I will definitely come back to Baywalk Suites on the next opportunity.

The only downside ware the rare blackouts, but this is to be expected in any part of the country really.

Tranquil and quiet, set in beautiful gardens at the foot of the breathtaking view. The room was clean and well catered for, I haven't slept that well in weeks. The hosts were kind and attentive and great to talk to, even going so far to arrange our onward travel. The location was good too, easy to get into the local town which is definitely worth exploring if you get the chance.

Gorgeous setting, peaceful and relaxing. Room was spotless and bed comfy. Staff so helpful - Ray helped us with transfers from airport and back to Manila. Breakfast was delicious and we had dinner there one night which was also excellent. Short walk down to the lake and lovely scenery.

Not loads to do nearby unless you have your own transport so if staying for more than a couple days I would recommend looking into getting motorbike or car rental!

I enjoyed the 5 nights stay at Baywalk Suites in Batangas... The place is so beautiful, facing the view by Taal Lake and every morning me and my sister we had to watch the sunrise and have breakfast, lunch and dinner by the view... I do really like the place , peace and quiet and comfortable.. We got the whole place by ourselves. Until the guest arrived , they coupled, very nice and funny, then we become friends... The host "Ray" is so lovely and friendly, the helper kuya Nestor is very helpful and kind.. We went for a walk just near the lake we saw an amazing view... Ray spoiled us i already missed the place. I would like to live there one day. We and myself definitely coming back to that resort...
