The saxophone at night was awesome. Breakfast was great... especially the Philippines. Staff were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. Pools are great, and the diving course was made simple, switching from the pool straight to the ocean and back.

That I couldn't book a tour for a single person, was told I'd either have to pay for 2 or 3 people. Maybe work with companies outside that can offer solo whale or island hopping.

Their dedication to making each guest feel valued is truly commendable. One highlight of Plantation Bay is the sheer variety of activities available. Whether it’s taking a dip in the lagoon, trying out water sports, or exploring the beautifully landscaped grounds, there’s never a dull moment. For those who want to unwind, the spa offers a range of treatments in a tranquil setting—perfect for anyone seeking relaxation. While the resort provides plenty to keep you entertained, we recommend venturing into the local area in Mactan. It’s safe, affordable, and a wonderful way to experience authentic Filipino culture. From vibrant markets to delicious local eateries, there’s so much to explore just a short ride from the resort. The only downside to our stay was the quality of food and the pricing for drinks.

the lagoon side room was great . to be able to swim from your door was perfect . staff also were also very good

the fact that some of the restaurants were not open was not great. This was not for renovation or from the typhoon as they were billed as being open at the weekends and certain other days.. Also some of the bars were not open (coconut bar and the bar by the beach) apart from the swim up bar. This limited our dining and drinking options. I know that the hotel was quiet during our stay but I think that all dining and bar options should be available in a 5 star resort all year round. Over all we enjoyed our stay but it could have been superb with more facilities open.

food was great, i loved the salt water pools. I also loved that my morning runs were around the resort. felt very safe at 5am. shooting range was a blast. Pun intended.

pillows were to hard for my liking and bath tub was to small because im 6'2"

I liked that their shuttle within the resort is available 24 hours.

The resort should provide a place where we can hang wet clothes. We were not informed or reminded not to hang our clothes on the balcony. 😁

Loved the facilities! Great pools and lots of good options. Free golf cart service throughout the resort. Airport shuttle, concierge, snack and drink store.

Lots of rules such as no raised voices, no sound on electronic devices in public areas. I realize it's for the comfort of all guests, but kids having fun in the pool with raised voices shouldn't be an issue. Didn't liked being nickled and dimed for every single thing. (Laundry was $50)

The property was absolutely stunning! The amenities and opportunity for visitors is not extensive but well thought out and fun for everyone in the family! It reminded me of my time at Disney World in Florida in the United States! The landscaping and attention to detail in their architecture isso well thought out and developed for sure! The staff were incredibly professional and well-versed in the entire property and needs of families and couples making their special memories with their families and journeys across from their own countries! Everywhere we went we were greeted with hospitality that is unmatched to anything that I’ve experienced, and I’ve been all over the country in the states as well as the world! I don’t know what I come back again, but I am certainly recommending this to all friends and family It was time for sure!

The territory is amazing! I haven’t seen anything like this before! The saltwater lagoon that is open 24 hours is a great option! The staff is always there for you, so nice and friendly ! And the breakfast really surprised us) every day there are different kitchens of the world (Mexican, Chinese, Italian etc). You can always find fresh fruits and juices and homemade bakery) we faced some challenges with the bank card during check in, but the staff handled the situation great and even upgraded the room category due to the inconvenience. Thanks 😊

The property was very nice, it was very clean and the view is very spectacular.

What I didn’t like is that, the drivers of the shuttle drove so fast two times for the fact that there is a kid seated at the shuttle. The foods in Kilimanjaru and Route 66 is not so good but the service of the crew is good. We will recommend Fiji it’s the best. The room service is strange why there is room service when you only have one restaurant that works and only selective menu they can sell.

The premises of the hotel are amazing with so many lagoons and swimming pools. Lots of different actives and things to explore. Gold cars available all the time if you are too tired to walk or have lots things to carry. Lots of choice of restaurants - one of which is open 24/7.

Lots of events are being held in the premises which are sometimes loud. Room service food was horrible - they use very old oil to fry things and taste was disgusting. In general we got tired from the food choice in our 4 days stay
