We had a wonderful experience at the Marion Roos Hotel! Despite a mix-up with our reservation from booking.com, which only booked for 2 pax, the hotel graciously honored the rate for 4 pax so we only have to pay for 1 extra guest. Our room was spacious enough for 5 pax, with all facilities in perfect working order. The location is fantastic—quiet and just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The food at Marion Roos Resto Grill was absolutely delicious. We were especially thankful for the complimentary breakfast, a lovely gift even though it wasn’t included in our booking. Special thanks to Liza (owner) for her quick responses to all my inquiries, Maselko for his assistance, and the restaurant staff for their friendliness. Overall, we had a great experience and just have one suggestion for improvement—better linens would make the stay even more perfect. Highly recommend Marion Roos Hotel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were well accommodated as we arrived. The room was spotless; I like how the bed sheets and pillow covers all smells like fabric conditioner, the aircon was working properly, the bathroom is clean, they have a provided dresser with hangers. They even have a restaurant at the beachfront, which serves delicious food, and unlike other stores their servings are big. And they can easily contact tuk-tuk, which helps us travel around the place easily, and charges fairly unlike those outside.

I loved the bidet and that the bathroom is very spacey. It’s just a few steps away from White Beach so the location is pretty convenient since it’s nearby the lane of restaurants and souvenir shops as well.

Getting to the property was tricky especially if you’re following google maps. You’d better call them instead of trying to figure out how to get there. Not a big deal tho!

The accommodation is very close to the beach. We had a fridge, kettle and safe as well. Towels, linen, soap, shampoo, and toothbrush were provided. Bed was very comfortable, we slept really well. The owner Marek and his wife were excellent hosts. Marek took us on a tour to the falls which we enjoyed. Delicious breakfast was included in the charge. We had a choice of continental, Filipino breakfast or pancakes. Breakfast was served in a restaurant 2 minutes away by the sea.

I like the location and how it was close to whote beach and the resturants. They had an area where we can wash our feet etc after being st the beach. Place also had wifi and AC which is plus. The staff were VERY nice and accommodating. The owner of the hotel happily picked us up from the calapan port to the hotel. They were offering the shuttle for free from the other port but we werent able to sail on time so had to take calapan. He also drove us to our hometown in pinamalayan which was so nice of him.

Everything was amazing . Only downside was the vendors coming into the private resort harrasing us to buy every thing and wont stop till we buy something. Its not the hotel fault at all as i know they did try to complain this to the municipality but they have not done anything about this. Last was construction during the day. Alot of hammering

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. It's in a great location in the middle of White Beach. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel provides toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap in case you forget. The staff are attentive and really friendly. Very professional. Hot water in the shower was perfect after playing in the ocean. We already booked a room to come again for NYE.

The location is a short walk to White Beach. Clean room, good air conditioning, very kind, attentive and helpful staff.

Stayed for two nights and experienced brownouts every day but that maybe the case for the entire island. They have a generator though but during our first day it took them a few hours to start the generator that made me miss an important meeting online. We were here for work and electricity and wifi is crucial. The staff are quick to explain the cause of delay and we totally understand. Wifi can be weak but could be the internet provider’s issue.

The accommodation was as described. It was minimal, but clean, comfortable and quiet. The host Marion was always helpful and engaging. When you first arrive near property you may think that you chose badly, you have not!

My partner was unhappy with no hair dryer, I didn't find this to be a problem 😅

We enjoyed our stay at Marion Roos. Breakfast is amazing, the food in there restaurant is great. Pizza is a must try. The place is near the beach.

The aircon isn't providing enough cooling for the room, we requested electric fan however it's not available. We also noticed that there is a frog inside the toilet bowl.

I like that it is clean and nearby the beach. But our room was near the stairs so we can hear all the noise esp if there are people passing by. But all in all, it is a convenient, clean and GOOD PLACE to stay in Puerto Galera. Not too much noise from partying/bars in PG.
