This little hotel was the highlight of my stay in Palawan. The owners are a Filipino family. They are small business entrepreneurs and they have been open for less than a year. For this alone, you should stay here. To support Filipino small business and encourage the prosperity of the Filipino people. But that is not all. There is a happiness from the staff and the family. A real happiness. You can tell they are truly good people. There is no phony hospitality. They truly are interested in you having a good stay. The location is perfect. Right off the main road, where all the main dining establishments are located. Just a short walk leads you to their fine little hotel, tucked away in a quiet corner right at the heart of the city. The room was clean, the airconditioner was cold, and the showers are hot. There was free cold water and free sachets of coffee (along with free hot water). This is not to be downplayed, as most hotels would certainly try to charge you for water and coffee. Not only did the owners invite us to join on their family birthday dinner celebration, but they spent time talking with us and sharing their story as well. I met the owners father, Seraphine, who was a fine man at the age of 91. He has traveled all over the world and all throughout Philippines. A true gem of a man. Finally, as we were leaving, I cannot believe it. The owner actually personally drove us to our next destination. He tried to refuse any payment, which of course we insisted to give. So long story short, I implore you to stay here. Support local businesses. Support kind and happy families. Help good Filipino people attain prosperity. It is the least we can do as tourists.

Everything was perfect

Very accommodating owner and staff. They assisted us with everything we need. They also offer van transfer to airport. They also offered van transfer going to bay walk so we doesn't need to worry on how to go back at the hotel. The room is big for us. Complete with all amenities we need. The bed is very comfortable and with lots of pillow. 2 min away from the airport and near various restaurants

The owner was lovely, she gave us good advice on where to eat ie Artizan. Booked us a van to El Nido and organized our laundry. Coffee tray downstairs and fresh water dispenser was good. Also, after a long day, snorkeling having Netflix was a welcome relief. Built in 2016 Manuela Suites is clean and purpose built. 2 Small double beds in our twin was positive too. Overall a good 2*

Minor things would have liked a small table between the beds to put drinks etc on, we used a small chair in the room but things kept sliding off..The shower was difficult to regulate and when did the pressure was low, not really a problem but allow extra time if you are in a rush.

Everything!! We are extremelly happy that we've got to stay at Manuela's. We spent one night here as we had to take a flight the day after and the airport is super close to the hotel, very convenient! The rooms are very nice, bed is the most comfortable one we tried in the whole Philippines, AC works great and good shower too! Breakfast is also awesome😋😋😋 The stuff is just wonderful - Gina and Jery (the owners) are very lovely and welcoming people! We will definitely come back! Thank you again! M&M

Everything was just perfect

The location is awesome! Ms. Gina and her staff made sure that we get all the things we need - ready to extend assistance whenever they can. One of our tours was cancelled because of bad weather so we just stayed in our room - there was power outage and water shortage around the City but they have their own genset and made sure to contact water provider early on so that their guests have water to use!Excellent service! This is be our go to property whenever we visit Puerto Princesa!

-that was the best room we had in our trip around Philippines, very comfortable bed, very clean and I'd even say European bathroom - the hotel owner accommodated all our requests and even went an extra mile cooking for us where we didn't have enough time to go to the restaurant and it was raining like crazy -after staying there we understand all good reviews and we are not surprised at all -you will not find better place to stay in Puerto Princesa - if we ever go back to the city we will definitely stay there again

Location was good. Close to pasalubong center, popular restaurants and the airport. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were also very kind. Good value for money.

Neighbour’s dogs can be noisy at night especially when people or vehicles pass by (not the accommodation’s fault). I have notified staff of very early check out (2am) but gate was locked overnight. Had to climb over the gate to get out. Would recommend to have a staff that was available to contact to open the gate (no answer on the mobile phone provided).

Owner was helpful and accommodated our late arrival. Room was very clean. Breakfast was simple but good. We could fill our water bottles. Short walk to the main street.

Barking dog next door in the night. Difficult to communicate with hotel prior to stay. Booking.com messages don’t go to owner, but to OYO corporate and never get reply. Finally, we realized the number on google maps is a WhatsApp, so we contacted her from there.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. Its situated close to the airport and away from the busy main road, but still within walking distance of some good restaurants. The lady in charge was wonderful and helped us book a tour to the underground river as well as a van transfer to Port Barton. There are some set breakfast options that you can order but weren’t included in the price.

Margie was incredible. She got up at 2:00 am and help us carry our bags; gave us undivided attention whenever we needed to book trips and order food. She helped with home remedies for our terrible cold and was a joy to be around. Love her! I’ll book there again.

The paid breakfast was not yummy. I don’t recommend it.
