Beautiful cottage in a quiet location Comfortable bed and tastefully decorated room. There was a problem with the hot water in the shower for the first two days but when the issue was reported to the reception it was fixed the following day. The radiator’s valve was missing so it was impossible to regulate the temperature in the room at night. Friendly welcome and very attentive staff at the restaurant. Delicious traditional soups. Excellent breakfast with tasty, fresh bread and nice selection of vegetables, cheese, Polish sausage, eggs.

The room was quite small—smaller than average. The main issue was that Room #3 is located in the attic of the building, which means you have to be very careful not to bump your head when getting out of bed or using the shower, due to the low ceiling. If you're planning to stay here, I’d recommend avoiding Room #3 or #4, as they seem to have similar limitations.

The hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms are located within a complex of traditional wooden houses that have been beautifully restored. The staff went out of their way to help. The on-site restaurant does excellent traditional Polish meals, and the complimentary breakfasts are amazing! We also appreciated getting a packed breakfast on the day we had to leave very early in the morning.

Just a comment that in our bedroom, in the converted roofspace, the bed was up against a slanting ceiling, making it hard to sit up in bed to read. It might be better to move the bed against the wall with the window to maximise space.

Absolutely wonderful spot, perfect for exploring the forest and surrounding area. The bedroom was cute, comfortable, and immaculately clean, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, and although we arrived very late the first night, we were able to access the room with no issues at all. I wouldn't hesitate to come back!

I loved everything about Stoczek 1929! The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable amenity-wise. The morning breakfast was outstanding and the person working there the 3 days we stated was so friendly and warm. Our only regret is not staying longer!

I guess it is quirky enough to make it interesting, old (refurbished) rooms with modern amenities, very good restaurants on site

Fantastic breakfast buffet with many options, all fresh! Nice shower in the room, friendly staff, very clean. Nice and quiet as well. Easy to book online and check in. Cute wooden house that has been restored.

Thoughtfully designed and cozy with all the amenities. Onsite restaurant (casual yet also quietly sophisticated), super breakfast, pretty setting and central…we had a lovely stay. A choice offering a lot more charm than many bigger hotels.

Couldn’t find reception in the dark! (- it’s down the garden path ) ..the friendly restaurant manager helpfully escorted us there :)
