Beautiful design. Our room was gorgeous. A lot of care has been taken with lights and decor.

I didn’t see a thing I didn’t like!

Clean and cosy for a decent price. Shops and restaurants close by. Sauna was quite decent even with Finnish standards.

Restaurant was closed and breakfast had very scarce vegan options even though we notified them in advance that one of us is vegan. Would not be too much to ask to get a vegan sausage or package of tofu from the shop next door.

Spacious and elegant room for parents. Smaller, however still comfortable room for kids. Mattresses were softer than expected although it turned out really comfortable. Breakfast as almost in all hotels in Poland was great. Waitress even offered hot chocolate for kids. I Definitely recommend to visit the restaurant in the evening. Food was really delicious.

Doors of the rooms did not close comletely, I had to double check if they are closed.

Hotel is located in city center. Has nice, modern rooms, with good equippement with all necessary facilities. Room was clean and well prepared for my arrival. Parking lot is payed, but you can easily find some parking places for free around streets close to hotel. Hotel staff was very nice, helpful and easygoing. Breafast (I payed extra on spot), was fresh, tasty, full of choice.

Smell from fridge was a bit sharp and awful (like smoked meat).

The room was a bit too hot so we had to open the window for fresh air during the night but the road in front of the hotel was pretty busy especially on Saturday night therefore a lot of traffic noise prevented us from having a good night’s sleep. Room 208 was fantastic but that was the only minus

It seems different now. We stayed here many times before and it was a great experience. Now as I understand they are changing things, so we will see how it will be next time. They still offer a good breakfast, the rooms are the same - clean. Wifi credentials are offered at the reception for free. The garage is still available for the extra fee. Still good place for staying.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed until the end of the year (as we understood it).

Great location. Just a few minutes’ walk to the city center. Excellent breakfast, similar to most hotels in Poland (scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, etc.). A wide selection of cold appetizers.

Our room was in the attic, with skylights, which felt uncomfortable as you couldn’t see anything through the windows. They could only be opened by 1-2 centimeters, and we wanted fresh air in the room. There was no air conditioning.

I always stay at the hotel when travelling to and from Baltic countries. The rooms are clean and spacious, there is a paid minibar and two free glass bottles of water, the bathroom has shampoo, shower gel and soap. Parking is free, there are always free spaces, and there is a paid guarded underground garage. The hotel also has a free sauna. For breakfast there are various options - boiled sausages, scrambled eggs, fresh vegetables and fruits, various cheeses, pastries, desserts, coffee, etc.

This small 3☆ hotel is an amazing little gem of a hotel! Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. If we ever drive through Poland again we will definitely stay there. The room was just perfect. The staff did everything to make us feel welcome. The restaurant in the hotel was a real surprise! I did not expect to get splendid italian food in a small polish border town yet we did! An excellent classic spagetti alla carbonara and my husband's pizza - he said the best he has eaten! But the biggest surprise was the breakfast! I have stayed in 4☆ and 5☆ during my career but Velvet Hotel outshone many of them. Pls note: The photos included are NOT outside but the hotel breakfast which was excellent!

Can't thing of anything I wish we could have stayed another day!

Nice and comfortable hotel next to the city. Comfortable beds and pillows. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Parking for an extra fee in the garage or in the backyard.

Breakfast were OK. Stuff at the breakfast area was tired.
