The grounds were beautiful. Everything from the decor at the entry, the rooms, dining room, bars, salon, fruit trees, grass for the dogs, and pool was lovely, comfortable, and enjoyable. The staff made you feel like you stayed with beloved family instead of at a hotel. I was a bit concerned because our Portuguese is not up to being conversational yet, but with everyone putting in the effort, we were able to get all of our needs met and enjoy some conversation. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Also, the food was varied and delicious! We look forward to the next time we are able to stay.

Characterful older hotel with very helpful staff: they let us keep our e-bikes in a shed out the back, got us towels for the swimming pool etc..attractive room with balcony and lovely view, and great swimming pool and garden. Just 5 minutes from the Spa. Excellent value for money! The breakfast was included and was good: we had freshly cooked bacon and eggs, then selection of cheeses, fruit, pastries.

It’s a bit rickety, and could do with some upgrading.. but this didn’t bother us. As the hotel is very homely and comfortable, with lovely staff.

They transformed an old family house into a hotel and the vibe is just amazing! The nice garden and the swimming pool are an invitation to chill! To place is perfectly located to enjoy nice little homes in nature and the thermal baths!

The dinner buffet doesn’t have many vegan / vegetarian options!

Exceptional staff! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the service was top-notch. Our room was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful and peaceful stay after days of being on the road. We had our cat with us and they were very welcoming and helpful in accomodating our pet! Highly recommend!

I liked it a lot, a real patchwork of modern, old, vintage and antiques makes this old house a real funky place to stay! Pool area and food great, probably the best breakfast choices I've seen. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Only suggestion I'd make would be to clean and fix up the front of the property to give a better impression on arrival.

Special breakfast options with oats, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, quality honey, goji berries, papaya, pineapple!! Cozy chilling area with a cuddly cat. Super friendly staff!

I would rather have heating in the room instead of the AC. But I know it's more costly here in Portugal :(

Comfortable traditional hotel with bar and pool. An elevator is provided. The people who run the hotel are lovely, we really enjoyed meeting and chatting to them even when we didn’t share a language. Wonderful home cooked meals. As the name implies, the view from our room was great and we had a furnished terrace just outside the bedroom door to enjoy it from.

Elevator is glass sided and very hot, would benefit from some blinds to keep the sun out. Bedroom fairly small.

Great laid back atmosphere with a bar by the pool and amazing dinner buffet. 20 minute drive to Monsanto.

Wifi strength isn't great at the far end of the building but that's because it's solid brick so understandable

Staff was really helpful when we required their attention. The pool is nice and clean and rooms are also clean. All vintage but still in good shape.
