This Hotel is a real hidden gem. A real taste of what seems like authentic Spain - the Hotel building is a blend of the ancient and the modern and is both beautiful and elegant. Just off the main square and close to a small old town it's cool and quite and elegant. The staff are very warm and helpful and made our stay really enjoyable. The room we stayed in was lager than most hotel rooms I've stayed in, was modern, clean and stylish. The food was amazing. We chose the half-board option and enjoyed a really excellent three course evening meal, with a full vegetarian menu for my daughter. The food was outstanding. Breakfast was continental but with loads of choice, good local produce and decent coffee. The pool was an absolute boon - we travelled by motorcycle during some really hot weather and after checking in spent a very welcome hour in the pool cooling down.

I'm really struggling to find anything bad to say about this Hotel - it was really good! I guess that the staff at the bar were kind of slow, but then that's life in Spain. It's chilled!

I have stayed here multiple times and love this old building. This time I had a room in the new annex & it was comfortable too although not the charm of the old building. The square the hotel faces is nice but we’ve been disappointed in the options for food in the square and the surrounding area. The hotel restaurant is fine but one does not always want to eat there.

Would like to see more restaurant options.

We visited twice on our journey to and from Portugal with our two dogs. The hotel is in a beautiful village and has lovely walks, it is quiet and peaceful. Our room was lovely overlooking the garden with a balcony. Dog beds, wipes, bowls all provided. We had half board and the food was exceptional with lovely friendly staff who spoke no English and us no Spanish but we still managed to communicate well.

That I could not stay longer!!

Lovely hotel tastefully renovated. Situated on the main Plaza in centre of a lovely rural town. Was lovely to wake to birdsong and Storks ‘chuntering’! Fabulous walks in natural rural park nearby. Fantastic that dog friendly.

Nothing to fault although the garden and pool in back terrace need attention as this detracts from rest of wonderful facilities. Would be nice if dogs could be permitted on outside terrace (on lead).

The property is well located on the edge of the town square with ample secure parking. When I arrived I had minimal battery charge in my EV and the system I have for locating charging stations showed none within reach. My relief came quickly when the very welcoming receptionist offered one of the two charging points within the hotel. When I asked about payment she said there is no charge.... what a bonus, especially as I had no alternative ! ! And to be served an A La Carte breakfast of the best bacon and eggs was yet another treat before I checked out to resume my journey with the comfort of a full 'tank'.

We stayed overnight while riding through Spain on our motorbike. Predominantly set in an old palace, with modern additions, gave the hotel an excellent setting an atmosphere. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking the gardens. The staff were friendly and engaging, helping our limited Spanish where necessary. Dinner was very good, as was our breakfast. Well worth the extra 30 minutes ride from the autovia for such a pleasant stay.

Beautiful surroundings, exceptionally clean room. The lady tending to the bar the night of our stay spoke little English , but she ensured she found a staff member to communicate with us, she was polite and happy and made us feel so welcome . The staff team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our stay so pleasurable. The food was delicious and we ate in the garden of the hotel with beautiful surroundings

The area is not well maintained, with many cigarette butts and small litter Residential blocks could use renovation; some walls and floors look noticeably dirty Breakfast is a bit disorganized and nothing special

Rooms are spacious and clean with everything required. We had a small balcony and a view of the wonderful plaza below. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Parking is secure and free which is a bonus. We enjoyed our meal in the delightful restaurant. Didn’t have breakfast as left early. The town has some very interesting landmarks and is definitely worthy of a stop over on the route south.

Simply a beautiful and uber comfortable hotel. Spacious rooms, luxory beddng, great showers, pristine clean. Excellent food, fairly peiced. Good gym. Amazing helpful and friendly staff. Peaceful location. We just used it for one night stop over on our journey through Spain and will make it a definite stop on our way back. So

An added bonus would be to have tea /coffee making facilities in the room.
