The staff at the Inatel were very professional. Offering suggestions on where to eat and how to best get around. As we did not speak Portuguese, everyone spoke English and assisted us with the many questions we had. We were told of a taxi who would take us on a tour, as we wanted to experience and see the island of Graciosa. What spectacular views and the driver Sonia was so knowledgeable about the many sights and sounds we heard. Our room was spotless, and although there were four of us, they enough linens and pillows for us to sleep on. The Breakfast was more than adequate, in fact it was our favourite. The variety of fruits, cereals, juices and not to mention the coffee. Wow! we had so much to choose from. The cheese and bread was exactly how it was previously described to us. I must also mention that the two waitresses performed their duties with pride and most important a smile. As we had travelled from Bermuda, they like others were curious as to which country we came from. How pleasant the ladies were and very kind. I will admit, that our children enjoyed the pool, and us as adults, loved the views, animals and the broad walk. Inatel management had taken great lengths to see that our stay was enjoyable and without incident. Thank you ! and well done Inatel, I will be recommending this hotel to our family and friends. The only thing I saw that could have been better, that we had stayed in Graciosa and Inatel longer. Our visit was short, but memorable. In 2024 we are planning to return for a longer visit, and enjoy the many amenities that Inatel has to offer. Well Done!

The hotel is very close to the sea we could see the sea from the window of our room and breathe the fresh ocean air, It is relatively well close to the village that we never used means of transport because walking to the village was very pleasurable, breakfast was served in buffet style and with such abundance that it was practically impossible to leave there with an empty stomach with varieties of food for all tastes. And in general this hotel appeared very clean.

I noticed that the hotel has a problem with bats, as there was a huge bat activity around the hotel balconies from dusk until dawn, I did an investigation to find out where the bats were on the balconies and found out that they were in some holes all around the balconies, and because of this enormous activity of these animals, the balconies were full of waste from these animals every morning.

Excellent breakfast, staff was friendly and very helpful. Beautiful location, convenient walk to downtown and restaurants. The even room numbers have a wonderful view of the ocean, harbor

Rooms comfortable, great bed and bathroom. A little more lighting and a picture or two on the wall representing the beautiful surroundings would make it cosier. Keeping up with the paint on the balcony would be good and feel that the property is being well maintained. Noticed some areas that the paint was chipping and needs to be fixed.

Perfect location, calm and spacious, meets all your needs. Close to the center and various natural swimming pools: the walk into town is charming and takes about 15 minutes. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. We didn’t try the pool but the area was spacious and seemed comfortable.

The only downside was outside of the purview of hotel staff: every morning, the balcony was littered with bird poop, who seem to nest nearby. It was cleaned thoroughly every day, but it was awkward to use in the morning without tracking the stuff inside. This was a minor gripe at best.

The property has beautiful views by the sea, the exterior looks really modern, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Some modernizing could be done in the interior, some paint was chipping and there were some stains on the ceiling, the curtains were not in a good state with some tears and stains

Could be a little more modern

Decent hotel on the island with a rather large room capacity. Clean rooms. Nice location close to the beach with a lot of parking space. Good breakfast.

Pool water didnt seem that fresh (suspended solids). Rooms are a bit old. Price performance overall not that good even for a small island.

The whole experience was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean and welcoming

Nothing to dislike

Very nice resort feel. Room was comfortable with air conditioning which was important as we traveled in August. They served a great breakfast.

Great location with beautiful views of the ocean and easy walk to downtown Santa Cruz.

Property needs some renovating such as new mattresses, pillows, general maintenance, etc.
