The decor of the hotel is exceptional! The location is exceptional! The view on the side of the hotel overlooking the carpet of olive tree-covered hills/mountains is beautiful! The spa is the best I have experienced! And the room is lovely and spacious. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times for all it has to offer!

The dinners, while good, could be of a slightly better quality and quantity. (The food could be served at a higher temperature; I like my food piping hot.) The service is "too" good...in that the waiters are taking away the previous course, and exchanging it for the next course immediately. (I like to enjoy a leisurely meal, while people watching--it should be one of the highlights of one's day. If you don't keep your head down, eating constantly, the waiters come to ask if you are finished while you still have half of the food on the plate. I don't like to feel rushed.)

All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable, lovely and warm for the cold, November weather. The views over the olive fields and mountains were amazing! The hotel is well-located for a walk down to Cazorla or for a drive over the mountain pass to the natural park area, which has amazing hiking trails. We walked the 10km route along the River Borosa (the full route is just over 20km there and back). The hotel provided us with an excellent picnic lunch to take along with us.

We found the tv channels difficult to manage and no instructions available to help.

All facilities excellent especially the beautiful Spa. Nice buffet breakfast.

IMORTANT NOTE Do not take the half board option. The set evening menu was awful. Mushy grey unappetising dishes - dry overcooked fish. Such sub standard food should not be served in a 3/4 star hotel Most disappointing and puzzling aspect to report since all other aspects of the hotel were really fine.

The location was amazing photos don't really show The beautiful of the area. From getting to the hotel to leaving nothing was to much trouble for the staff.

No local bus service from Carzola to hotel at night.

good location for the wilderness with good access to routes, the bar was great with a great view, breakfast was ok too

what’s with the Buddha’s? I found this irritating, how can it be a relaxing spa with 100s of screaming kids staying there and the coffee was the worst in Spain !!!! finally can’t you keep control of the parking, th3 car park was impossible to get out of in a morning without bangin* your car

I liked the decorations, the restaurant food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel over the valley and the mountains were spectacular.

great location, nice pools and friendly staff. Very accommodation for our sporting event with adapted food and timings.

Hard to get them on the phone beforehand, the telephone rarely gets answered and you get a recorded message.

The food was very rushed at dinner. The staff were wry friendly and helpful. Breakfast, there was a good selection to choose from.

Breakfast Good Choice but the let down was the Dinner not a great choice Starter OK Chicken undercooked Chips limp and peas well looked as though they should have been binned massively overcooked

We had spa access with our room but was not clear it was only for one session rather than they whole stay this was the only thing that disappointed us!
