Lack of Indian Breakfast like Poori, Sabji

There was only one towel in the room

Novotel as a brand is more like a business hotel. Having stayed at Novotel Kolkata I've a few points to make whose corrections I think would make this hotel better in my opinion. Firstly interns not handling front desks where they have no idea of the client service and profile; Secondly, again interns so many at the dining area who have little idea, and when asked for drinking water one of them came and left a half-drunk glass bottle in front of us. What I would like to appreciate is the size of the room and its comfort, a very nice pool area and pool, brilliant attitude and behavior of the housekeeping staff. In fact, the champion of my stay here of almost 3 nights would be the housekeeping staff who are well behaved and prompt. Also found it difficult to understand why some of the interns have difficulty understanding what I said in English which when explained in Hindi they could understand.

We recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly courteous and assisted with any requests made. Central location helped with good proximity (by car) to major tourist /shopping areas. Staff at the reception area - Suruchi was quite calm while handling customers during peak hours of check-in The food spread during the breakfast & dinner was impressive offering lot of options. Combined with the excellent service from Amit, Simran, Shailesh, Rajat and Jaya made it a delightful experience.

Housekeep service was good with all amenities available. Minor, but staff could be more proactive while refilling during housekeeping services as few reminders had to be given.

The hotel staff were fantastic, the most memorable were Rajat , Sailesh, Puruendra (all 3 from dining), Ariff (5th floor House Keeping), Satish Kumar, Arvind and Ram (from Security and car services) and Manish (front desk concierge). Satish was our expert driver and accommodating to our needs; he was very trustworthy. The ability to hire the car and driver was ideal. the breakfast and dinner buffet were fantastic. Nothing - everything was fine

Breakfast and dinner was excellent, but I was there for 3nights room no-208 the lock bothered us to much the battery was not working and every time we had to run to activate the card but unfortunately then too the door did not open every time we had to wait for 15 mins . Secondly my rooms were booked for Rs 5400 per day but third day I had to pay Rs 7400 did not understand this , as my husband had paid , we did not get the refund , the extra money we paid . I shall be highly obliged and thank ful if you check and refund the extra money paid , so that I shall recommend my friends , relatives and we too shall visit again . Thanking you Kiran Jayaswal.

The locks should be checked and why I was charged more on the final day , when I had booked all three days together. I should get the refund .linens should be little more clean .

Breakfast Spread was satisfactory all the 3 days of our stay. Amt charged was value for money. the spread was good and the food is also good.

The wash room door does not prevent sound inside the washroom reach outside in the bedroom, which is embarrassing for the other companion staying in the room. there should be a curtain or something.

everything was great during my stay at NOVOTEL. they could have done better in buffet, which i believe. as i have stayed in many 5 star hotels where they have variety of items. that was sort of missing somewhere, else everything was great.

There was nothing that i didn't like in NOVOTEL. They provide handful of amenities. their staff, room was neat and clean. reception all good. they take care of their guest nicely and properly.

A big shoutout to the housekeeping manager and especially to Shivani for her remarkable professionalism. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Shivani’s attention to detail truly stood out, especially with the adorable towel doll she created for us! It added such a personal touch and brought a big smile to our faces.

Bet part was the Ac of the hote

This is not with them but most of the Hotel ask for payment at the time of check in which should not there. I can pay during check out All the time have convinced them when ever I do booking from you. Next time will change the service provided
