This is a lovely hotel on DN7 in Arad, very clean and comfortable. It is in the industrial zone and next to a petrol station (Lukoil), but very quiet at night and we really enjoyed our night there. Breakfast was included in the price in our case and it had a better offer than a four stars hotel we encountered somewhere else in Europe. Everything is brand new and modern with a certain Industrial Style focus to match the location and the history of the city of Arad. Well done, guys!

Maybe even a better diversity of food for picky eaters, although I am not sure how many families are stopping overnight there.

We always choose this hotel for our overnight stays when heading out on longer trips, as it is conveniently located from the highway. It’s clean, comfortable, and reliably consistent – exactly what you need after a day of travel. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out quick and easy. The room is cozy and bed very comfortable, so we always get a good night's rest before continuing our journey. Just that sometime people have parties in the restaurant and if you are located on a floor close to the restaurant, it may be noisy. The breakfast is variate and convenient.

My travel to home plan made me choose and stay at Ibis ARAD just yesterday and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my short but good experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything I needed even when I was clearly tired and not in the mood for anything than my room key card. Their professionalism was immediately noticed. The hotel’s location is excellent—conveniently situated near key highway, yet in a peaceful area that allows for a relaxing stay. It was the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. Cleanliness was another highlight of my visit. The rooms and common areas were spotless, well-maintained, and had a fresh, inviting atmosphere. It was clear that great attention to detail was given to hygiene and comfort. Overall, this hotel provided a wonderful and peaceful stay, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality experience!

It's not our first stay at the Ibis in Arad, and I'm sure we'll stay there again. The hotel is ideally placed for a stopover when travelling by car from western Europe to Bucharest. The restaurant is open until 22:00, and the food is really tasty. The rooms are super clean, the bathrooms, nice. Quality mattresses, linens, etc. Despite being located near the highway, the rooms are quiet. Breakfast is adequate. They are pet-friendly, and have accommodated us with our Golden Retriever even in the restaurant, which is very much appreciated.

Fresh orange juice at breakfast would be great. Coffee-making facilities in the rooms would also be nice. Otherwise, I can't think of anything...

Receptionist was very friendly, hotel isn’t new, but it’s very well kept and feels very fresh. It’s family friendly, there is small play area for kids close to the reception. Overall very nice hotel!

Restaurant staff not as friendly as the people at the reception. Restaurant only has one kids chair. When we arrived for breakfast they took it from another family to give it to us. It didn’t feel right. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Very poor selection of bread.

The hotel's main selling point is its location close to the motorway, which is helpful for those in transit. There is virtually nothing to see or do immediately around the hotel, at the edge of town, in a dilapidated former industrial area. The interior design team did a great job - the hotel is comfortable and lively, with a modern vibe, but also capitalises on the industrial heritage of this part of Arad. The apartment we stayed in had two bathrooms, which was a plus for our family of four. I would also highlight the comfortable beda and sofa, the armchairs and the wide windows.

The staff at the front desk were welcoming but could use some more client service training - telling me about internal system issues that had no impact to me was a bit out of place, and even more so was putting on a wide smile as they told me the restaurant closed early for Easter Monday. We were at the end of a very long day and very eager to have dinner at the hotel, so we were clearly disappointed (we should have factored in the holiday). I also noticed staff operating the breakfast area could not accommodate foreign speaking guests - staff spoke neither German nor English. Otherwise, the food selection and beverage selection offered for breakfast was decent, though not great quality.

Highly recommended. We liked the room, the decor, the cleanliness, the staff, the food and the value for money. There was nothing to complain about. I'm rating the location as exceptional because of the convenience of getting to the airport and motorways. However, do not expect beautiful views - the hotel seems to be mostly meant to cater for the needs of business travellers and is situated in an industrial zone.

A new hotel , beautiful rooms , great staff and very professional , great air conditioning ( it was 39 degrees outside ) , super comfy bed. Tasty breakfast in the morning to fill up , free parking spots just in the front of the hotel. Highly recommended.

A little bit outside the city. It’s not a problem if you have a car. I had one so was no Problem for me.

It was a very hot day in Arad , still the AC was not on before entering the room so it was about 27 degrees C inside. We had started the AC ourselves still it had taken about 1 hour to have an acceptable temperature. I would recommend for the Hotel staff in such hot summer Days to have the Ac on before the guests arrival.

The room was spacious, clean and quiet, adequate AC. The dishes served by the restaurant were flavourful and in decent portions. Kitchen is open until 22:00. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is varied and tasty, including local, fresh produce. Available parking on site is very helpful.
