What a location! The beach is incredible - steps from the hotel and with amenities and a restaurant to make the stay relaxing and easy. The beach was clean, quiet, and great for swimming and snorkeling. Theres also a gourmet restaurant which is a must for dinner. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the property.

The location means that getting to more populous areas like Grand Case requires planning. You can coordinate with taxis, but advance notice is often needed. The restaurant at the hotel is great, but if you want to explore elsewhere, have a plan.

Great restaurant at beach. Couple things to note: Restaurant books up quickly but if you don't mind eating on the beach, you can order food to your beach chairs. Also, as you stay at the hotel, you are guaranteed beach chair provided you let them know a day in advance (like as you leave the beach, tell them what time you'll be back the next day). Our room/unit was quite spacious with good size kitchen with necessary equipment to cook any meals you may want.

The snack bar type restaurant open from noon-midnight, would have been good if it had a few more food options. (The rooms have full kitchens though so in theory you can always prepare our own food but we were not feeling like cooking on vacation). We didn't mind it but quite a few of the rooms/properties on the hotel seemed to be going through renovations (they had no windows or had open doors). Parking can be a tad challenging on very busy nights (as you may not find parking in the lots closest to your building).

We were right on the beach which was beautiful. The atmosphere was so relaxing and small enough to meet new people. The room was spacious with a nice view of the sea. The staff was friendly and so helpful in getting taxis and reservations.

We wished there was somewhere near by (walking distance)where we could get a snack or quick sandwich.

Beautiful beach front property. The room was clean and comfortable. The property has everything you need to enjoy and relax on vacation. Ance Marcel Beach restaurant serves the most delicious lunch and drinks! There is a pool on the beach, snack bar and the spa. Staff is friendly, Salome was super responsive and helpful! Will definitely come back next year.

we love location, we eat breakfast in our room, we got coffee maker and toaster -additional for our kitchenet in our room. Staff was super friendly, any problem was solve very quickly.

I think we got old room, which going to be renovated, I believe. They need to add fan to the bathroom - we were keeping bathroom door always open - for ventilation

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the setting amazing - so nice to be welcomed by the friendly staff every morning. The high point of this hotel is its setting - defintively by far the most beautiful beach in St Martin in our opinion. The lunch is also fantastic - wonderful food, a lot of variety and excellent service. The rooms are very confortable although the configuration is very strange and the space is strangely optimized - it doesn’t affect in any way the comfort and the fact that you have a great view on the bay.

I think there could be a little more activities - such as windsurfing or volleyball or why not even tennis. I’m sure there are a couple of hikes to do in the area so it would be great for the hotel to suggest them.

The resort is great if you are looking for seclusion and tranquility. It is nestled between hills and from the outside is very unassuming. The accomodation, restaurant and beach are perfect. The staff is friendly and the property is well maintained. The property is not fully functional after the hurricane in 2017 but you would not be able to tell if it were not for the gutted rooms when viewing the resort from the beach side. Despite this fact, you do not feel like you are in a place that is under construction. It is always quiet.

Mike dislike stems from the fact that the restaurant serves a standard continental breakfast. There is menu service for lunch, but restaurant closes for dinner. The nearest place for dinner or an alternate breakfast is over the hill. There are no delis or shops nearby where you can pick up standard items. You must jump in your car and go over the hill

Great stay. All the staff are amazing and friendly, the restaurant is excellent, and the beach is perfect for young families.

In our room there wasn't a traditional standing shower so you had to use a handheld in the spa bath, but not a big deal. The breakfast is the same every day with a somewhat limited set of options, but again was fine for us.

This amazing property is located on the French side of Saint Martin. It is hands down one of the best properties I travelled to in my entire life. The resort is quiet, and has an amazing view on a beach that would be the perfect setting for a sequel to the movie The Beach (sorry, Leonardo DiCaprio reference). The food and drinks are all delicious, with plenty of options if you are very hungry or just want a snack by the sea. But most importantly, the staff is just THE best. Friendly, helful and smiling all the time, it was really a pleasure to interact with them. I will forget many names, but thank you Stephane at the reception, Anne & Lea at the restaurant, Jimmy & Jean-Francois at the beach, everyone and each of them will make your stay special, thank you TEAM @ Anse Marcel Beach Resort, we will be back!

Amazing stay. Would recommend this hotel to everyone! Really good value for money. Food on site was incredible, better than some of the food in I've had in France. Staff were all do friendly and helpful. Beach was lovely and had use of the sun loungers. Would stay again.

Everything was great. Only thing was that you need to book the sun loungers and we were not aware of this. We were however still able to get one each with the help of the staff.
