Our family loved our stay at NG Sweet Home! The staff was very kind and provided fresh juice throughout our stay. The bungalows were very clean and comfortable.They also helped provide us with connection to a great guide and driver which helped us see all the sights if the island. They also helped us arrange a snorkeling with Manta Rays tour which was an amazing experience. Mostly the family that runs NG Sweet Home made our stay very special by their hospitality. We especially enjoyed watching the geckos which brought us luck during our stay. Also breakfast was delicious!

Everything was perfect

The staff was very polite and hospitable. They provided a welcome drink and dessert upon our arrival and were kind enough to bring our food / breakfast at our room. The property was very clean and well maintained. You can chill out by the pool in the evening while viewing the sunset. They also provide two wheelers if you wish to travel in Nusa Penida and have more than ample parking space. A perfect place right in the middle of the island with good connectivity to all major spots.

There are a lot of geckos in Nusa Penida which can shout and create a bit of nuisance. But otherwise they are completely harmless. No complaints to the hotel though!

I highly recommend staying at this property. The staff went above and beyond to organise personalised tours for us. They would always check on us to see if we needed anything. Wayun, in particular, is amazing. On our date of departure, the driver we booked didn't make it due to a traffic jam. So he arranged 4 scooters to take us to the ferry. Two scooters had our bags strapped on to them and then we hopped on the back if the other 2 scooters and we made our ferry. He was reluctant to accept payment. The Warun at the property makes the best Nasi Goreng I have ever had!

The location isn't great. Everything is at least 25 minutes away. If you can drive a scooter, no problem as they rent them at the property.

NG Sweet Home exceeded all my expectations. The hospitality was absolutely incredible - the staff made me feel like family, calling every guest by name and going out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean, from the rooms to the common areas. The pool was beautiful, with stunning views that made every moment feel serene. I loved the little touches, like being greeted with an umbrella and hot tea when it rained or refreshing drinks and fresh fruits from their garden on sunny days. The breakfasts were delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home

The only downside was that I didn’t want to leave! It was such a lovely stay that it made leaving bittersweet

We had a fantastic stay! The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming – we were even greeted with drinks and fresh pancakes upon arrival, and got a delicious fruit juice every evening! The restaurant served tasty food at a reasonable price, and the service was absolutely top. One day we planned an early trip to Diamond Beach and they kindly prepared our breakfast for 5:45 am without hesitation (Ursula breakfast Starts at 07:00 am). Highly recommended

On the last night, we had a gecko in our room. It’s fully normal here in the nature, but I think it came from behind the AC. Maybe it would be helpful to close the space.

The staff were absolutely lovely! We never got the name of the older gentleman who was so kind and lovely to us and seemed like he genuinely cared but thank you. He made our stay what it was. The place has a lovely feel to it - a home away from home. They even had a hot tea prepared for us after a rainy day around Penida! The food was also very good and so handy to have a Warung at the property!

If we had to pick, the hut we stayed in was up some very high and steep stairs which wasn’t always fun in the rain but props to the staff who manage even with carrying our huge and heavy bags! You 100% need a bike to get around as everywhere is around a half an hour car journey away, but I believe this might be the case for most accommodations in Penida. The bathroom could do with updating as it felt a little tired and used.

Everything was perfect from the second we arrived at the hotel until the second we had to leave. Staff is sooo friendy, they help you with everything! Food is also delicious and if you want they serve it at your balcony :) Rooms very very nice and clean, the bed is soooo comfortable! The only bad thing was that we had to leave, will come back for sure! :) Kadek, Wayan, Karina and everybody else I didn’t get names of - thank you for the pleasant stay!! :)

We loved our stay at NG Sweet home, the bungalows were really very cute, well-maintained, and clean, and we enjoyed the pool. But the best part of this accommodation was the staff, they were truly so friendly and helpful in renting us scooter and providing information, and spoilt us so much with fruit juices and fresh coconuts. Breakfast was great too! The location was also quite good, it's somewhat in between the main sights, but a bit outside the busiest part of the island. Overall a really wonderful stay. Suksma banyak!

Nothing to complain! Everything was amazing.

The people who were working there were super nice and helpful! When we booked we got an email giving us the times of the ferry and they booked our preferred time for us. When we got there they took our bags and had welcome (non-alcoholic) fruit smoothies for us. They actually had a beverage like that for us every time we got back to the hotel. It is a pretty small hotel. Smaller than I thought when we booked. Only 4 cabins plus two larger ones next to the pool that were being renovated. There are a good amount of stairs for such a small place. Perfectly fine for us but could be a problem for older folks. Very secluded area. We rented a scooter from them to get around the island. They also helped us arrange taxi rides when needed. We ate all of our meals at the restaurant when we were at the hotel. Super convenient. We were the only ones there a lot of the time. I can't imagine booking a hotel without a restaurant since most places were pretty separated. There was no where we could walk to to get other food. They had us order the breakfast the night before so it would be ready by the time we wanted. They will also do a floating breakfast at the pool if you request it! The room was pretty basic. The pool was perfect. The hotel is right off the road so the pool overlooks that but not a big deal. You can see sunset from the pool!

The bathroom could use a little update.

Big room, lovely pool with great views of the forest and an amazing sunset from the balcony. The staff are so good and kind and brought us fruit juice everyday when we returned from our adventures. Helped organise bikes and taxis etc when needed.

This is bali, so expect bugs and geckos and the area is far out so you need a bike but this didn’t affect us. Nusa penida in general is a quieter island so this is a great spot.
